But on the other hand when Sugar passed out, her DF effekt was broken. So... that seems almost like a huge plot-hole to me.

Also the fact that he dressed them up, is a way of Oda letting us know he created them and dresses them up the way he wants. Broo, I was literally saying that Luffy was saying gear fourth when he attacked a few chapters back because he has finally gained enough mastery over his fruit to where he doesn’t have to undergo a full gear fourth transformation to use a gear fourth attack. I think that this is what Oda was trying to portray. Honestly it’s kind of annoying because everyone assumed that it was a mistake, and that Oda was trying to play into some sort of illusion instead of just looking deeper into it.
I think what Oda is trying to portray here is that Luffy can now go gear fourth with individual body parts.
Also that size matters comment around 13:00 is crazy work
Fr, when I first read the chapter I think it was 1127 where he used gear 5 I was sure hed just turned a body part into gear 4, which should be even possible before his awakening, its just that when he needed gear 4 hed just simply go full body gear 4. Thats how I thought it worked. Cuz thats how gear 3 always worked in my eyes. But then ppl pointed out all the other errors that I didnt even notice like luffys sword and axe changing etc. So it seemed more realistic that Oda or the translators just messed stuff up.
Salutations Syv. I liked this chapter actually. It was pretty good. Also, I am loving Elbaf Nami. I was concerned about the focus on individual strawhats in Elabaf. But thank God Nami got her moment. I am sure Robin is going to get hers. But I want to see something for Brook maybe soul related, not sure for Jimbei and Franky. This should be the point as every chess piece is being moved. Things after Elbaf are going to be un-imaginably chaotic.
forget this being usopps arc, guys this is shaping up to be nami’s arc for real. especially with usopps attack doing basically nothing to the other side, he’s going to need some serious power ups and the only way i can see that is if usopp is the only one capable of saving the straw hats all by himself. similar to how Koby destroyed pizzaros arm and watching his haki bloom when in a life or death situation with those he loves and cares about. on the other hand- nami can probably take down 100 million berry pirates just with zeus alone.
I feel like its a whole crew arc. But for me it seems like Oda wanted to show us that nami is already at where she needs to be at in the op world. Me personally I think Nami is strong enough with zeus. Shes literally the weather queen with Zeus and can one shot even Giant Warriors so it seems atleast. Usopp on the other hand is really lacking, didnt do anything that worked. So I kinda feel like Usopp will get the most out of elban while the others like Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Nami and Robin have been getting alot stronger in Wano already. I can see Franky getting that boost from lilith (Vegapunk) Usopp from the Giants or some guy like scopper gaban, Chopper needs a push aswell since he cant even break out of an iron chain, Brook will hopefully learn haki aswell this arc. All others seem strong enough for me. Obviously Luffy needs to further advance his Haki for the Gorosei but still theyre more than good for now

What’s interesting about Road is that it might be Oda either commenting on other creators or representing himself. He even said that his characters write themselves and one of the reasons the pace slowed down in the series is because his characters would often demand for that (paraphrasing). This could also be foreshadowing. A lot of people think Oda could bring this story into real life, with Kaido saying that Luffy looks like something about of a storybook. Artur even has a theory that the One Piece is a comic book. From what we’ve seen, Imu was able to command the Motherflame weapon by drawing an x on a map. It seems like there has been a lot of hints pointing to the possibility that everything was created by someone via drawing ever since Wano. Even in Wano we had Kanjuro. It was even said Oda uses legos to create dioramas of each island before its in the manga. It all seems very intentional.
I really hope it doesn’t get that meta. I think it would honestly spoil the series for me if it did.

Gear 5 is Toonforce, and the only thing luffy is left to do is a 4th wall break. I can really see luffy doing that and i wouldn't be surprised at all. Cuz that's the luffiest thing luffy could do. So a 4th wall break is definitely happening especially against Imu.

The idea of Luffy using just his arm for Gear four makes me think about Joy Boy’s full capabilities and the giant straw hat. At max power I wonder if he threw his hat at Imu and enlarged it at the same time as an attack or to cover up someone as a defense measure and it was later kept as a trophy by Imu. At the same time for the audience it can now serve as a way to see Luffy’s full potential with his devil fruit.

The partial attack of Gear 4 in this chapter, may have been to correct the mistake of 2 chapters ago or maybe Oda had the idea after seeing the mistake and liked it, I guess we will never know if it was a mistake or not.
I think it’s pretty cool… Usopp saved Hajrudin from being a doll/ toy and ironically Rode is making humans be toys. Hajrudin hold Usopp up in front of the sun and calls him a God after being freed from doll house. The sun god (Rode) is locking people into a doll house. The connections are crazy!

Elbaf is parallel with Fishman Island....before reaching the Island, encounters a Mysteriours character, and befriend an Enemy Pet, then theres a new group of a past group of pirates.
elbaf really seems like a mix from all arcs before, it has similarities with so many other arcs. Feels like Oda just wanted to bring back the OG vibe and its amazing. Hopefully next chapter we get a big double page with luffy and the crew standing in front of elbaf houses and us seeing elbaf

It may not have been intended, but considering we're on Elbaf and Oda is the way he is with his references, somebody on Elbaf should have Stockholm syndrome. The name of said issue comes from it's origin which is Stockholm Sweden. Originally applied to the story of a failed bank robbery in 1973. So maybe they didn't intend for the pun to be here, but they might've unknowingly called out an Oda reference. I didn't want to dive into a massive explanation, which is why I simplified the hell out of my reply.
It wouldn't surprise me if Giant Pirates report on Sun God Nika but not that he's human. Some giants may assume he's a giant.

Now that we’re back to the cover story i think that the kidnappers are gonna be the Big Mom Pirates. They could have kidnapped minatomo to fix their ship after it fell off the waterfall twice, kidnapped the women to feed their souls to big mom, and they would fight back less and make less of a scene than samurai. I also think big mom and luffy have to actually have a real fight, meaning she has to get to elbaf. What if katakuri does a solo mission to hachinosu and steals pudding back. Fleeing from
blackbeard the only place they could run to for safety is the closest island to it that we know of, Elbaf. He can call big mom and tell her to meet them on elbaf; then big mom and luffy fight, and sanji reunites with pudding. Also after katakuri takes back pudding, blackbeard could attack wano after big mom’s chaos, steal the ancient weapon, and run up on elbaf. Possibly killing big mom and or destroying the world tree, fulfilling the norse ragnarok and world tree lore.

Like how We can meme on sanji for being a simp all day, but once someone kidnaps and sees nami with her clothes off its game over for that guy no questions asked, surprised all the strawhats ain’t beat tf outta him right then and there once they realized
So we know elbaf is most likely the island where Usopp takes his biggest step towards fulfilling his dream, likely involving a haki awakening/boost. Usopp most likely will be an observation haki specialist, as we’ve seen potential foreshadowing from arcs like enies lobby and dress Rosa. There’s another character in the story who is known for there proficiency in observation haki, who just so happens to have a strong connection to elbaf. I think it’s very possible that Shanks learned his incredible haki not just from Gol D. Roger but also from a character on Elbaf who Usopp will also be mentored by in order to power up and become a brave warrior of the seas
One thing oda does best is showing mirror to humans through his story...... It's great how big humans play with ants, squirrels, dogs etc... Creating their small house or environment and enjoy..... It's obvious giant will do same with small humans
I am going throw out some crazy theories out there by observing what been going on the last three chapters. First, Kid and his crew will be alive but are slaves to giants due to vikings in history use have slaves from those they conquered. Maybe luffy will try to help him out again. Second, Luffy might tame the Fenrir further in the arc since love to tame the wildest animal in each arc. Third, Maybe oda will do a gag with Sanji and Loki if Loki can change his gender with illusions. Fourth, Usopp, Nami and Chopper will upgrade in power with knowledge since they use their own skills to win. Fifth, when the straw hats leave they might get divine status due to the fact that ever since leaving want, their attacks have become godly in the names whether as god or devil. Maybe they will become know as chaos gods.
Maybe the silhouette character was also road😂 probably not but who knows lol also tekking is awesome and congrats to you my man!!!
I think this dollhouse mini arc will be the major conflict for the elbaf arc and the rest will be an upgrade/ training arc.
My reasoning is fairly simple but I’ll lay it out:
-we have never met a giant that didn’t end up on our side so it’s fair to say they are collectively pretty chill
-they worship luffys df
-while this is supposed to be usopps arc it doesn’t have to be a great moment in battle instead it could likely be a giants right of passage that he will undoubtedly take part in
-the entire crew seems to love giants
This is kinda just based on what I have been seeing this arc and how I view the giants in the story. But even in this chapter luffy has no ill intent to road while they are trying to escape.
nah we basically now have confirmation of odin existing in one piece considering we saw a crow named mugin in the chapter which is the names hugin and munin combined which are odins spy crows honestly i wouldn’t be shocked if elbaph is as long as wano

I think Elbaf Arc will be the opposite of everyone loving Luffy and his silliness. I think the Giants will be against the Strawhats and I think this might be the time in the story where the Giants explicitly call out the things about Luffy that we the audience don’t like and want to change about him in order for him to be ready for the final saga. This will be the wake up call they need to realize what it takes to be the Pirate King.

Reading this week chapter, there are a lot of things to say, so I will say them as best as I can. First, seeing that the sun god was actually rode was a big shock since i never remembered this character until I saw the pic with luffy giant friend. It feels weird in many ways that rode is acting the way he does since luffy beat his captain and usoop saved his captain in dressrosa, so his captain should have told him what happened to be fleet member of straw hats. There also the old giant pirates being friends with them. Rode acting like a Otaku was funny but him being racist was something I expected since most giants we seen in one piece don't respect humans and mix with the vikings background I understand since they only respect people when they show strength or is a savior. Second, seeing luffy in more control of his devil fruit in chapter remind me of katakuri in his control of his devil fruit. Maybe by awakening your devil fruit, more control you have over it with training.
Why would giants serve humans? Answer: Usopp.
This is great set up for his moment.
Its slightly concerning with Luffys drawbacks being waved away. We ditched Gear 3rd's drawbacks over the 2 year timeskip, which feels organic. With gear 4 and 5, i dont know why hes suddenly fine .
I don't think there were really any moments that would create a bloom in egghead.
