Elizabeth was equally responsible for Morwenna being married off to Ossie. This makes it seem like it was George alone. He had the idea though. Elizabeth assisted him. She could have persuaded George away from what was an unpleasant forced marriage of her 17 year old cousin. Woman against woman that lacked female solidarity.

Unfortunately, I noticed that even Morwenna’s mother approved of the marriage. It seemed like no one was considering Morwenna’s happiness at all. It was clear that She was repulsed by Osborne right from the start.
I have no doubt that she thought she was doing her sister a favor by providing an outlet for Ossie’s lust. Unfortunately, it hurt her relationship with her sister in the end, though, because Morwenna hated the scandal and shame that the affair brought to her family.
George is ghetto rich, so Elizabeth is perfect for him,because she is a courtesan if ever there was one,her& Ross are perfect together, Demelza's story as a child was heartbreaking but she became a lady and an A list, moral human being values and respect for others. Ross is to low for her to stay with him,he is a cheat,liar,whorer and untrustworthy, their relationship should be a wrap.
Morwenna needed to get her point across to Ozzie that she just was not interested. She almost dodged a bullet when he informed the Warleggans that there were other prospects lined up for him. Too bad wicked George whipped up a scheme to tie up Morwenna with that nasty creep forever. Yuck!

Morwenna, was very nasty towards Ossie. She always had very ugly words and just treated him like trash upon the first acquaintance.
