    I love the long clip, the details options and most of all the comparisons to other products. Mr Haylett, this man is a keeper. Keep up the good work. I'll be ready to buy in five years Haylett RV will be my first stop....

    I cannot imagine buying from anyone else but Haylett RV. No one out there gives you anywhere the amount of information to make a informed decision. This looks like a great option for full time RV living. For the record, the videos are not too long! 😊 can the propane tanks be refilled without removing them? I believe you said they were all k
    Hooked together.

    Josh, Josh, Josh. This is it! This 5th wheel hits all the right buttons. I love the color, the size and the floor plan. Normally I would say no because there is a vent on the floor by the toilet (and that's a big pet peeve), but that doesn't matter in this rv. It's perfect. This is going to the top of the list for me.

    From what you saw, during your Vegas trip, did they change the master bath vanity? The four small cabinet doors just aren't functional for bathroom use. We need drawers and one or two doors to store cleaning products under the sink.
    How can I get the Pinnacle I configured on the Jayco website to one of your sales associates (other than the guy I was working with) for a Haylett only pricing quote? A 2020 model with the new Cherry wood.
    Last question, is it cheaper to have you install the generator or install at the factory?
    Thank you Josh!!
    Cheers!

    The only bad thing about particular designs like this. You have the stove top next to the TV without a barrier in between. Greece travels doesn't matter if you have a hood. So you would have to have your TV down to cook if you're smart because that grease is going to get all over the TV eventually and into the wiring and into the back of it.

    Josh,
    LOVE all of the videos as I have learned so much from you! So thank you for all you do!!
    I will be purchasing a new fifth wheel this fall and I am really leaning toward these front bath models! I just absolutely love them! My question.... I am planning on purchasing a Ford F-250. Nothing fancy or add on with it just pretty stock. Will the basic F250 pull these front bath trailers? I travel from MO to FL every winter as a snow bird so I want to be able to pull them no problem. Do these make any Front Bath fifth wheels that are smaller either in length or weight or better, both? It is only 2 of us so we could downsize the RV no problem but would still want to keep the front bath the way it is.
    Lastly, I was looking up this model, and Montana’s, Sierra etc and they all pretty much have a total loaded weight around 15-16,000. Everyone I have looked at has 7,000 pound axels including this Jayco. Wouldn’t that be too much weight for the axels (14,000 axel total with total weight of 16,000 loaded) or am I looking at it completely wrong?
    Thank you again Josh for everything, looking forward to hearing back from you AND planning a visit to see you this fall with my RV purchase!

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      An F250 is not suited to pull a Pinnacle. Any Pinnacle. Especially one like this. An Eagle 336FBOK front bath is another story, however. If F250 is your plan, then THIS is the RV you should be considering: bit.ly/2Lk6Ixj

    • @shawnbrunk7607
      @shawnbrunk7607 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the very quick response! I will check that as soon as I leave this comment! What about the axels? If a loaded trailer says 16,000 but the axels are 7,000 each does that put you over the weight for the axels? Not for sure if that is how it works because I can’t understand why any manufacture would give such a higher loaded limit when the axels aren’t weighted for that? Hope you can shed some light on that?

    • @shawnbrunk7607
      @shawnbrunk7607 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I forgot to add that an F250 is not 100% as I have watched your video about finding the RV first! I would love to stick with Ford but according to their guidelines it doesn’t look like I would gain much by going to the F350 to pull a FB fifth wheel. I’m assuming you would say the F350 can’t pull this FB as well?

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You aren't going to travel with 5,000lbs of cargo to reach the GVWR. Some MFGs include the hitch weight carried by the truck on top of the combined axle ratings for a goofy and confusing GVWR. It's not how weights should be calculated. This is literally the only business I've ever seen where a MFG will list a GVWR in that fashion.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Proper F350 *might* handle it. Pinnacles will generally be found on *heavy* SRW 1-tons (often with a suspension assist) or duallies.

      That would be the Bungalow series in the Jay Flight lineup. We found ourselves in a tricky spot with them.
      We used to sell quite a few, but as things like the Eagle travel trailers like the 330RSTS and 322RLOK or larger Jay Flights like the 34RSBS came into the market the Bungalows began to struggle a bit by comparison. Additionally, it was difficult to predict how a client would like a Bungalow built. Our in-stock Bungalows were always "wrong" for folks.
      So we tend to build them on a per-customer basis now. We prefer to stock stuff, but it's too sensitive/specific of a market segment to accurate predict each clients' needs.

    Josh, can you find out from Jayco what is going on with the all the stress cracks. On the pinnacle facebook page many owners are getting cracks. since you are a good dealer for them I would think that you would want an answer. Jayco is fixing the cracks but are they doing a fix now in production to ensure the cracks do not continue

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There was a brief production period on Pinnacle RVs where there was an error in the engineering of the upper deck structure that occurred right around the 2018 to 2019 model here exchange. It's old news that's been addressed. It occurred only on specific models. We only had one through our facility and Jayco has been great about getting it resolved for the client.

    I have one question that maybe you can answer from your experience of seeing Pinnacles being pulled out of the lot. I am looking to pull the 2019 36 FBTS with a 2019 F350 CCSB SRW and was wondering if an Anderson Hitch would work or should I look into a slider hitch?

    I wonder why Jayco dosen't use Azdel? They are "Cutting edge" on almost everything else.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You could ask the same of many products if you think about it.
      You could also ask why all brands don't use a BAL chassis or Dexter Axles or any number of other things like the Goodyear Tires you see here.
      The answer is because they have chosen to focus on investment and value in other areas. Azdel is also not ALWAYS the best material for every possible use. It's light in weight, but also not quite as strong as lauan. It works well in vertical scenarios, but not as well in horizontal ones. There's also the cost factor which is significant in this case.
      There are positives and negatives to everything. And there are no right or wrong answers. And that's exactly why we carry so many different brands and products at our store.

    Which brand is better quality pinnacle or Montana for full time living.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd

      @JoshtheRVNerd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Another way to look at it: Montana IS and HAS BEEN the single best selling fifth wheel for full timers for 17 straight years. It stands to reason they're pretty darn great at what they do to maintain that level of success for that long.

    Another quite late posting that obviously wouldn't matter much today oppose to nearly exactly 4 years ago but in this gorgeous coach that I wouldn't mind finding and purchasing pretty soon, the 5 foot showers... REALLY JOSH??
    Um, that would be very useful for, let's just say, if "someone" decided to join "someone" while "someone" was already in the shower.... Even at 32 years with this beautiful woman I married that time ago, fun is fun no matter how ya look at it!

    Do you think the industry will eventually get away from “floor” vents. When you have pets, they are great for collecting hair and crumbs.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not completely, no. Floor vents still provide superior heating efficiency, & with the huge push people have to "four seasons camping" floor vents have a very good place.
      I've done a video on the benefits of both heat systems you can see here: th-cam.com/video/cK7xe1-FdA8/w-d-xo.html
      Each method has its own benefits and drawbacks. Cabinet heating is easier to keep the RV clean, but also can sacrifice storage space.
      The biggest reason some MFGs are on a huge campaign to push cabinet ducted heating is because it's less expensive for them to build that way.
