Hey Josh, I noticed when Mr. Haylett jumped on the steps, the trailer didn't rock back and forth. That means not only are the steps great, but the leveling jacks are truly stabilizing the fifthwheel trailer. A great selling point. See ya..
What's more impressive? *The leveling jacks weren't even down." Only the front jacks were touching the ground. The other 4 jacks were still in the retracted position. *THAT'S* how awesome these steps are. Good eye btw :)
Josh, my wife and I have this identical rv and absolutely love it!! We’re going on our third season with it and there are only a couple of things that we would change/add to it. I wish the 3 seasons patio doors in the back had the sliding glass windows instead of the velcro roll ups and if they could have reversed the main layout and put a side deck on, it would be absolutely perfect!!! It’s pretty damn close as it is. We looked at the 424 and like our 417 much better. Not to mention, we’re not to keen on the colors and decor on the newer models...
I wasn't exaggerating Jeff. I've personally been sweet on Fuzion for a while now, but it took a while to get the agreement worked out since we were REALLY loaded up at the time I first started looking into them. We can't carry EVERYTHING (though we do carry a LOT), but I felt like we *HAD* to carry this one.
You like the steps to the ramp on the side? Did you notice the steel cable running directly in front of the top of the steps? If you are 16 you can probably twist through there easily. Not so much if you are 60. Quite a few 16 year olds buying these?
This is a good opportunity to ask questions and learn more before casting judgement. Fuzions have ramp-mounted legs you can use (at your discretion) to not only avoid the cable (which isn't hard to get around anyway) but also increase the load capacity in the "deck" position form 1500lbs to the ramp's full rating of 3,000lbs. Watch a few more of our videos (especially something newer that's more current) and you'll see what I mean. Those side steps are the business.
I'm sorry I disagree about the ramp patio step2, I think it's stupid to have them on the side with the cable in the way, it could easily cause someone to fall trying to duck under it.
Read a few more of the comments here and you'll discover the cables can be detached with the attached supporting legs still providing the function of the patio deck. Everybody wins. I would be curious to know if you've actually touched one of these models before forming your opinion. As mentioned the video they *appear* to be in the way, but when actually navigating the stairs they prove to be a minor inconvenience at most.
Josh was this the first fuzion that you videoed as you seem very excited about this one. Must have sold loads following this video. I'm from the UK and as said if was in the market for one be straight round to see you. Think the 410 is still my favourite to date keep up the great reviews
Fuzion was one of the first brands I basically made the call on picking up. I believed in what would do for our facility and had a lot of resistance internally on it. After about 6 months of back and forth I finally got the blessing and was really happy to see it all come thru.
I went used the link to your website to check the pictures and video (I know it's sometimes a different video) because I was just dying to see that drop down bed in the garage/living room/ bedroom. No luck. Bummer. I hope you add a picture with the drop down queen bed lowered.
Hey Josh, ever get time would love to see if there are any 3/4 ton toy haulers in 5th wheel. Got a buddy pulls a Montana with his fr past 5 years of course his isn't a toy hauler. Thanks.
There definitely are plenty of them. Some of the Wolf Packs and smaller fuzions (previously called "Impacts") will likely do what you're seeking. There are others as well. Best suggestion is to give our team a call at 800-256-5196 & let them know a little bit of what you're seeking / how you want to go camping so we can find one that best fits your wants and needs (and vehicle!)
I appreciate the kind words. If you are actually in the market, then all I ask for is the opportunity to put some figures on paper here at my Family's dealership!
I am in the market. I currently own a 2015 Keystone Outback 324CG. I am Active Duty Army and scheduled to go across the pond for a bit however I will be ready to upgrade upon my return. If you could provide an email address I can send you my personal email and we can start talking. I am currently vetting all major manufacturers and it's between The Keystone Fuzion and the Jayco Seismic currently.
Funny -- we handle both brands. You have fantastic taste in rigs! lol Best suggestion when you're ready is to drop a line through any of our website's contact forms (www.HaylettRV.com). I'm not actually in sales which surprises people. All this camera work is a full-time job and then some. Always happy to take a moment to answer a few questions, however!
This coach reminds me of a line the "the avengers" movie. Near the end of the movie, the start of their war, "tell him to get suited up, I'm bringing the party to you". Love this bahemith. Did I see partical board where that ladder gets stored? A luxury 5th wheel, using partical board? Love the E-track type of anchoring!! If I was in the market for a toy hauler, I found my choice, if they had a floorplan with the side patio deck... When I saw "the troops", my first thought was moth to a flame, bears to honey...😁😁😁
OSB isn't particle board. The type of OSB used here actually has a weight rating 50% greater than plywood. There's good and bad versions of anything. Remember -- they build houses out of OSB. It's not necessarily the end of the world.
In coaches of THIS caliber, I was expecting plywood. That's on me, NOT this rig. I see this rig and my first thought was, how perfect this thing would be for a band to use for tours. All instrument, sound equipment (I'm the sound guy ), merchandise, costumes and other toys in the back. With the dual awnings and generator you could the concert in the middle of anywhere!!! If the hold a concert for the troops, they could back a military power wagon (deuce and a half) under the kingpin making it look like the power wagon parked it there!! The only limitation with this thing, is the owner's imagination!!!

Hi Josh! Love your vids! We are considering a toy hauler and doing some long term camping (6 months or so) at the lake. Would it be feasible for 2 kids to stay in the back area (garage) for an extended "vacation"? Is the insulation enough to keep them comfortable? Thank you!
That won't be an issue on a Fuzion. You're watching aged footage here. Their newer models have a triple A/C system with an entire Air unit dedicated purely to the garage. Plus, their climate package is about as good as any other you'll find out there.
Would if we could. But we can't. Our pricing is below MFG published advertising policies. It's called MAP Pricing (here's a video on it if you need info: th-cam.com/video/UzNx6ayEwaY/w-d-xo.html). We leave a link so you're always just one click away and always reference what's in stock instead of seeing pricing on a 2-3 year old video like this that no longer even applies to anything.
I'm interested in the opinions of full time, live aboard owners and/or industry professionals. It seems every manufacturer out there claims their build process and materials used are the best in the industry, but it's tough to find real data to back these claims up. I'd like to hear educated opinions on how the Fuzion and Momentum stack up against each other? Both in quality of materials and manufacturing process, but also in terms of after sales support and long term ruggedness of these coaches (lets face it, most of us are going to drag these things down bumpy, rutted, dusty roads). Give me the truth folks! I can take it!
If you look at how those two brands are created, then you'll see they're *highly* similar. Grand Design as a whole is essentially a Keystone clone. But, that doesn't mean it's a poor product. Keystone is the single most successful producer of laminated RVs ever. If you're going to open a new brand, then that's who you're going to emulate. The materials and processes are highly similar. And frankly you could have the best materials in the industry, but if you're not executing well, then you're not going to do well. As far as the "back end" of the business goes our experience with Keystone has been fantastic. Their processes and facilities are fantastic. The turn around fulfillment time for parts is among the best you'll find in the market. I'll let others speak for their experiences with other brands.

This model has been phased out in lieu of the new 419 that features a 15ft garage.

3/4?? Pin weight on this trailer will be over 1,000 pounds over the capacity of any 3/4 ton.
pin weight is 3655 so a 3500 dodge cummins should manage the pin weight as for the overall weight thats another story
