Hi, thanks for reaching out! You can use the Individual Output feature to route your kick into your mixer and sidechain via routing. Please have a look at our latest Beatmaker Tutorial!
I'd love to understand if any preset style of a virtual drummer may be compatible with another drummer. Maybe I like one of the Solid grooves that I can't find in the Heavy library; Can I drag&drop, then change the instrument and sound ok? Or all the velocity layers etc will create a big mess? I will test it for sure. Maybe you can create some shared library like with the new Usynth, for the drums, bass and guitars too?
Yes! The MIDI’s work in the same way, all MIDI’s can be exchanged. You can even let the Virtual Drummer play a Beatmaker rhythm, try it out! We are actually planing the library system for all our series, so it will be a plug-in for each series.
Is there anyway to route the midi out of the plug-ins so i can record the midi--example using Silk and capturing the midi being played so i can further edit it or use on another plug-in? I am using Logic Pro
Yes, some of our plugins feature MIDI drag and drop, but unfortunately SILK not yet. The update for the older Virtual Guitarists is definitely on our list. Actually, it is already implemented in CARBON. This article might be helpful: support.ujam.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011297379-How-to-use-MIDI-Drag-Drop
I am looking for a church chorus instrument for make orquestal music but native instruments is expensive for me can you recommend me a good alternative ? 🙄
You'd be better off explaining these video's better. I've been trying to buy your products for a while. I have one of your demo's & I like it. But you keep throwing all these other products but the way you explain them is definitely not aimed at people who don't already know what your products actually do. Do you really think I'm going to drop money on them without better explanations on your more unusual products. Obviously the guitar products are clear enough to understand. But the products that you can't tell what they do from the name - you've got to do a much better job of demonstrating them if you want to sell to people that aren't already familiar with them.
Thanks for your feedback Sean! We'd appreciate it if you could clarify the problem and share more of your thoughts. Feel free to get in touch with us at ujam.com/contact-us/.
@@ujamInstruments That would require some Q & A which I'm happy to oblige as the plugin selling business (especially virtual instruments) is rather new & some very high quality vendors are making similar mistakes - & what's worse is you guys tend to copy each other to some degree - which means many vendors all making many of the same mistakes. Toontrack for example, despite their great marketing, also has trouble explaining certain aspects of their products that leave people with the same frustrations I just expressed about yours. I see it constantly on their FB group where users are frustrated about the product descriptions, or lack thereof, & TT doesn't recognize it nor do they fill that void. Yet their success (because of what they've done right) inspires a lot of others to copy them - including copying what they're doing wrong & don't know about. Because I ran a software development biz for over 20 years I gained insight into the challenges of communicating what a product does sufficiently to figure out how to join the conversation inside the prospects head. So I'm happy to help any vendor who's products are promising - to better communicate to would be buyers. But I prefer to do this intricate work by phone because I communicate 1000 times better by phone -- when tackling subjects like value based decision making processes in the mind of consumers -- where I can spot & discuss assumptions in real time. The very idea of having to type out the volumes of data in my head, all the while having to presume your state of mind & comprehension, is overwhelming in the extra time it takes me to to discuss this topic by writing about it. However if I talk to an individual or a group of people about how to better present what your products do so that you satisfy the questions already in your prospects mind -- I want real time communication -- which I think is a fair trade since I'm prepared to do the work of meeting with you and/or your team for FREE just to help the industry improve it's messaging over all. I can not only give you valuable feedback I can teach you or your people a system to break down any product's capabilities & put that into a format that answers the questions the prospect wants to ask but doesn't know how to articulate the questions because they don't have enough of a grasp of your product (from your sales materials) to be able to describe to you what they think you're failing to tell them. But to get that help you must provide me a way to talk to the person or department that crafts your sales materials. That's what it will cost you to hear detailed actionable feedback that I'd never publish in print or video without being paid. It will cost someone an hour or two of their time on either a phone call or a zoom call if that's a better medium but I'm good either way. There's no further obligation to me whether you use my ideas or not. Just give me instructions here how to make those arrangements of how to connect without posting my personal contact information here for the world to see here on youtube. Oh & there's the added benefit of me getting to also discover what two of your products are supposed to do. Once I discover what the answers are to the questions you did not answer I'll be able to articulate exactly why you failed to answer those questions & how you can fix that problem for all others like me who encounter your literature/video's.
Yeah, I kind of agree. I see the various products advertised, & I'd like to know what they essentially are from the outlook before diving in deeper on each one. This video is explanatory, which is good, but I'd like to hear the instructions rather than reading them. That way I can keep my eyes on the processes taking place, rather than looking back & forth between the writing.
All of your vst are crazy Ujam are a game changer !!!
Thank you!!
There's only one thing you need to know about ujam products... they're GREAT!!!

I’ve experimented this on my LOGIC PRO X. Thanks For this Video. ❤️@UJAM
Awesome! We glad you liked it :)
Is there an easy way to sidechain the kicks on the drum apps or do I need to manually drag them to their own midi track to achieve this?

Great tips 👌

@@ujamInstruments thanks Helpful. I knew Carbon had the feature but didnt know the Bass did--thanks
Deep & Royal don't have matching grooves though... is that intentional? I bought both really hoping this would be the case :-(
No, we never mentioned that ROYAL and DEEP have the same styles. The matching grooves only work for DEEP and DANDY.

Not on top of my head, but let me get back to you!
There is a free choir library in Spitfire Audio Labs
Can I get a clean tone out of ‘Rowdy’?
Yes! Easily select the "direct" AMP and turn the finisher down to zero :)
@@ujamInstruments Thank you, appreciate the quick response. Loving the 'Deep' drums!
Its a pain in the ass to record music with a DAW
Just think, in 10-years, you won't even need people to make music anymore!
