Jordan, you can replace tool parts! Just repair your flint pick (it has to be fully repaired for it to work!), then you can craft it together with a copper/iron/whatever pickaxe head in the tool station. This way you'll keep the free modifiers and the extra ones (so the speed/redstone you got on your flint pickaxe through leveling up) and even the raised mining level! Two more hints: 1. Put a pattern chest next to the part builder, then you can access all your patterns while you're in the part builder's interface. ;) 2. Making a full copper pickaxe is useless. Look what the tooltips say for the parts. E.g. a stone tool binding makes your tool "Stonebound", which means that it mines faster the lower the durability is, while a copper one gives you nothing. So: Best make it out of something that gives you "Reinforced" (iron, steel, obsidian, cobalt), "Stonebound" (stone, ardite) or even a free modifier (paper, thaumium, useless if you can get free ones through leveling it up). As for the handle: Look at the handle modifier. The higher the value is, the more durability you get (base durability: 200, handle modifier: x2 -> new durability: 400). Stone has 0.5, copper 1.1, so copper is the better one. ;)

SPARKLEZ!!!! I looked it up and the skills in the top right are really useful. As you sprint you get a chance of a speed boost now and then (the wind carries your feet). Also increasing mining level by mining increases chances of getting g treasure such as diamond when blocks are mined. BASICALLY VEINMINE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND YOU WILL GET DIAMONDS. This will eliminate the need for searching for diamonds.

1. metal pickaxe means metal headed pickaxe. mining level is just from the pickaxe head2. if they have TT iguana tips (I think they do with the levelling up of tools) I think you can swap parts around with the tools, i.e. swap the flint head with the copper one.

Hey, CaptainSparklez.. So you know for next time. You can repair your ORIGINAL Pickaxe all the way, and then apply the metal parts to it. Thought you may like to know, since you get to keep the enchant you got for free on your stone one, AND the experience level.
Jordan a good way to get diamonds is to mine stone as they sometimes drop as well as gold. So if you vein mine stone you have a good chance of getting diamond
