This machine just will not die - even with 2 snapped spiders and the final one is hanging on for dear life. As it survives all the extremely heavy objects maybe do a test with moderately heavy rubber objects (not one but two doormats maybe?) in it (should spin up faster than with the bricks/old motors) to see how long that final spider lasts - the only real thing I can suggest!
