I'm a South African from the Eastern Cape where the likes of Thabo Mbeki, Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko and Robert Sobukwe were born but strangely I have never heard of this launch. It just proves how our main stream media controls what we know and what we read.

President Mbeki is the personification of the platonic-aristotellian ideal of leadership. With him, it has been proven that the race, the gender, and the social class don't fundamentally determine humans' identity and morals. SInce somebody is committed to education, peace, and justice, it will become easy to observe prosperity and happiness in our world. Thabo Mbeki is a living legend.

Wow! what a befitting acknowledgement and recognition of one of the finest and great African Leaders. It is such an honourable thing to acknowledge his contribution now while he is still living. Thabo Mbeki will indeed go down in history as a great, astute, and impeccable South African as well as a proud and pragmatic pan Africanist with a goal of uplifting and advancing Africa.

Black is a color it is not a nationality all human beings live within their nationality . Black is a title placed up on the African peoples by the Europeans .

I don't like your selected terms such as ' fall' ,demise,if you were really serious about writing a book to reclaim or redeem his legacy surely you should have chosen better words.

Lady K Jola demise means loss of life. He is not dead. Fall is fine.

useless book, biased towards a useless writers delusional opinion. Misplaced word "fall" and misuse of a word demise for a man who is still alive, vital, vibrant and redefining and impacting masses as rightly put by ambassador Laimon. Leaving public office should never be seen as fall. Whatever Mbeki does is a contribution to Pan Africanism and an extension of himself and not a contribution to literature or any useless piece of writing such as this book aimed at hitting high sales and pleasing those funding it. Next time Ade frame your title launch appropriately of better try writing about yourself and see if you will exceed even 2 pages. Put respect to the name

Every writer always seeks to please their criticizers, you are lying here saying corruption increased under his leadership, how did you measure that, what tool?I won't buy your rubbish

It is true that Coruption did not escalate under Zuma and now Cryil. The latter two took it to another level.
Had he took decisive decesion on some of his members, that were involved in corruption We would not have seen Coruption being insitutionalised today in our country.
