everywhere I look at the life expectancy is 5 to 10 years… No wonder the older mechanical watches are so prized. Because if you actually love your watch you can actually keep it. don't fall in love with these they're just going to stop working and up in the garbage… What a waste. Oh I have an expedition scout it just came in the mail and I really do love it… Indigo and style it's perfect for me… Then I looked up how long I can expect it to be around and it was disappointing.… And to be honest what kills me is the prices of these things are skyrocketing. After purchasing mine it went up $30 in price the very next day. For a disposable watch their criminals
For a watch like this there is a market for it. Yeah it may last 5 to 10 years but you are not paying mechanical watch prices. Also a Auto watch needs maintenance and parts down the road. If you have one for 20 years and wear it everyday then you expect wear on the glass and bracelet that would need to be serviced or replaced. Also if you are spending big money insurance could add to the cost.
