The Federal Premium HST is great ammo. Great penetration and expansion from a short revolver. Thank you very much. You and your family have a blessed weekend!!!
Chubbeth's Thunder I love Federal ammo!!!! That's about all I buy. Even their cheap stuff... I just bought 1,000 rounds of Federal .22lr, and 100 rounds of Federal 12 gauge clay shot. Bought 600 rounds of Fed 9mm, just the other day, too. Oh. And 400 rounds of Fed .223. Remington green & white box, for second place. Pat Realmanofgenius Funny. Mine was the 627. And I was thinking the 327 was better looking. Guess that proves the saying, “ you always want what you don’t have. “
Came into a supply of these projectiles (which are pretty effective in the Model 442 J-frame as well) and have reloaded them in 357 Magnum brass at higher velocities out of a Model 19 with a 2 1/2" barrel with some success. With a N-frame one would think further load development practicable: the factor to be determined would be exactly how much more velocity to add before breakdown of the projectile becomes problematic...? Expansion of the factory +P loading is excellent.
Was wondering what your favorite holster is for this pistol Concealed? Recently got one by Kaos concealment and it’s trash. Also have a nice simple fake letter one from Houston for IWB. Thanks!
Looks like the second shot out of the 327 started to tumbled. Regardless those would still create a crazy wound channel. Also my Brother has a 7 shot 357 Magnum-Taurus model 66. Thanks for sharing.
