      Yep. I did it 7 years and fail to see his skill. Zooming around, no visibility with tall load, wrenching tf out of that forklift making tight turns and nearly destroying the pallet.
      I'm not impressed. That's how a rookie operates.

      he stopped to quick and the whole pallet shifted, then he turned around and slammed in to the pallet to correct the angle 📐, he could have just continuing reversing till he got inside of the dock

      @@mikeosborne1969 agreed, if you can't see past your load, and without leaning past the safety cage to see clearly then reverse, especially entering/exiting a building, it only takes a split second to ruin someone's life and your own.

      ​@@OffGridInvestor sad but true haha, I've seen guys use the tines, load guard, mast, rear end, etc to just ram and batter loads in place, some places guys used their 2 ton lifts to drag empty shipping containers (2.5-3.5tons) around the yard, used the inching pedal instead of the brake pedal, and then they wondered why the forklifts were so clapped out lol

    At my warehouse we are trained to always drive in reverse, that way our forks won't have the potential of hitting someone or something. So driving through a doorway going forward is asking for trouble, even if you are using your horn. Most people hear it and think it's coming from some place else.

    One thing I constantly get onto people for is, yeah blow your horn going through a door but you have to give the people on the other side time to react to you coming in. I've had someone blow their horn and fly through a door and almost kill someone

    Hmm no you are not supposed to drive with your load facing forward especially going through a doorway. I’m a forklift driver and I seen people get hurt like that by unsafe drivers.

    I've been driving forklifts for 10 years now I'm a charge hand in charge of 4 men n me to run a caravan factory and if my men drove like this I'd have them off site within seconds of turning the key. Someone's gunna get hurt eventually

    Never go through a door load first, especially at that speed. Doesn't matter if you're blowing your horn, you can't count on others to be paying attention to what you're doing.

    based on the comments. Everybody thinks they're an expert.
    Clearly this guy is since I keep seeing videos of him working the equipment so its obvious he knows what he is doing.
    What they dont tell you is that anyone in management or in this guy's field would know you SHOULD NOT do anything he does because you will cause an accident or get written up.
    I dont do forktrucks anymore not because I cant but because my job doesnt have access to one aside from powered skid jacks and walkie stackers which are all manual operated equipment and not fully powered forktrucks like this one.
    But I have heard from my coworkers when they asked about my skills on the machines TO NOT DO anything I do when explaining it to new workers trying to get certified because they will cause an accident. You cant do it this way unless you know how the machine works and learning what it can do and what it cant do and that takes a long time to learn.

    The funny thing is I work on a forklift to but in stead of what u worry about I worry about safety and the safety of the solicitor that’s around me not trying to loose my safety bonus being a show off like u keep it safe our motive is work safe to get home safe not show up and injure someone so keep it safe and stop being a show up nobody cares of how fast u can drive a forklift
