I thought you had lost it when you put purple, blue and pink on the jelly roll plate! But that turned out so great! I have the WOODWARE duck stamp. He reminded me of Ferdinand the Duck in the movie, BABE. Needless to say, he is going to be on a Christmas card to someone who understands my warped sense of humor; “Christmas is carnage!” 😂

So whimsical! This is a new (to me) , great way to use the gel plate. Thanks for the precise, short videos. I get impatient with presenters that go on a and on about things other than the subject of the presentation. Always look forward to yours.

@Natasha Foote • Natasha: Using the inks on the gel plate is so much better than the layers & layers of paint I've seen others use. I was amazed how much ink the die cuts picked up.

Fabulous, I have this one plus the cat and two others I think a hen and dog they are just perfectly gorgeous.
Gina I does masking magic strips, I just bought some they are mixed sizes in one carton perfect for patterns and borders and you can reuse them over and over again❤
Very nice. I loved the background. Makes me want to look through my stamps for anything that I can use as a focal that could use a little boost of an amazing background.

Adorable card, Natasha.. I have not had much success using inks on it so I usually use acrylic paints so I can layer colors with the die cuts. I like that you left the die cuts on briefly for a subtle look. I'll try the inks again.
Which inks are you using, i definitely get very different results depending on the type of inks i'm using, so perhaps try a couple of different types? xx Natasha
@@NatashaFooteCreative It's been a year since I tried it but it was probably some Stampn' Up! dye inks (still inky), possibly my Distress Inks (but not Oxides). I've been looking for new dye inks but can't decide if it's SSS Saturated, Altenew, Hero Arts, Simon Hurley, Gina K. etc.etc. I might be leaning towards Catherine Pooler. I've been a carmaker for over 20 years and I'm more confused than ever. May have to try a few as you suggest. Thank you!
I have about 4 of the wiggly animals Woodware stamps, but not the cow. She is gorgeous. I’ve used this technique many times with other stamps but I have blended the background, not used my gel plate. (Have to try that next!) To add texture in the background I use abstract texture stamps or even hand draw with a fineliner, Maurice Sendak style.

Wow Natasha! That turned out lovely. I don’t normally go for cutesy animal type stamps so was a bit unsure at the start, but that turned out amazing. When you put the blue ink on the gel plate, I initially wasn’t sure as it seemed so much bolder than the other colours, but never in doubt 😊 More and more I’m realising not to be afraid of my gel plate, as there’s so many amazing techniques. Never would’ve thought to put die cuts on there. That’s genius! Thanks again Natasha 😊❤
