My theory is that both "Shake, Rattle and Roll" and "Sh-Boom" were re-recorded by studio musicians expressly for the film -- and these musicians were not credited. Only the composers were. The film wasn't that successful upon release, and it was probably not likely at the time that a soundtrack album for this film would have been considered worth releasing -- it would have been the two rock-and-roll cover songs, maybe the cast singing "For She's A Jolly Good Fellow" from ending number 2, and the score. The reason for re-recording these? Maybe to slightly change the tempo. Maybe to be sound-alikes in order not to have to pay royalties for the original recordings.
Doing the play for this with my theater. I was originally Professor Plum, but I just got my role switched to Wadsworth. And I just cant get this song out of my head!
Ok chief take them away, I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife.

*"I think I can help make them make up their minds. Can I just get my little bag in the hall?"*

We're doing it right now. I'm running spotlight.
1+2+2+1
Even if you were correct that will still be 1+2+2+1, not 1+1+2+1.
Point is, there is one more bullet in this gun and guess who's going to get it.

This one is sped up for the movie "Clue."

I directed this play 2 years ago. What a workout. We used this song for bows.
@@StanleyEyegore Oh sweet! Really hope my theater does the same,
This isn't the version in the movie because you cannot find that version anywhere
Would anyome care for fruit or dessert?
This is not Bill Haley and the Comets. The group is uncredited in the closing credits of the film, but it's definitely not Bill Haley.
Correct it's C Calhoun
I never found this recording anywhere else but in this movie. Was it really Bill Haley and the Comets?
SO WHO DID IT?!
YES
Why the car stop?
Its frightened.
But..... this ain't Bill Haley. It's Charles Calhoun.
This one seems more sped up
Why is it sped up?
