Given he'd been at school when the show started he made a good impact. His compilation is much longer than other comedians, and in that crowd you have to be good to get screen time. The last show was a particularly outstanding performance.

Ed is diabetic and has mentioned it in his material, if I remember correctly he had in that episode, and so Rhys was taking the p*ss out of him.
ed has a comedy special called blood sugar which is mostly about his diabetes (he’s type 1 diabetic) and a lot of his material in the past has been based around diabetes so rhys was just trying to piss him off since they get compared to each other so much😭

I was only just now reading about the whingeing many stupid provincial and small minded people did about this show...not enough women, the unfortunate use of foul language, etc. I have to say that the overly sensitive people of the world really do ruin it for the rest of us. Seriously, if you're that sensitive, just DON'T WATCH IT! Its really that simple. Why do you have to to ruin it for the rest of us?
Used to love watching mock the week when Rhys James was on, miss that show a lot. I cancelled my TV licence when they cancelled mock the week. I can get episodes of hignfy and mock the week from TH-cam. Forget that woke BBC mess 😂😂😂
