Snubbed too many comedians in favor of women/minority quota. The only people who'd still take time out of their schedule are the unfunny dredges they filled the last seasons with. Someone like Boyle's not coming back only to get removed again because "too male and white and this comedy show needs to be inclusive, funny or not".

@@RhysJamesIt's not muted, but there's definitely something dodgy with the audio in that clip. I think it drops to mono sound played in stereo. (As opposed to real stereo.)
@@johncoops6897 it's not muted, but sounds weird, like the audio is shifted, kinda sounds mono but triggers my sound system in Stereo PL2 mode to push the audio out the back speakers. So on a phone maybe with Atmos sound processing on it's trying to shift the audio to speakers that don't exist. Try turning off any sound processing/effects your phone has.
@@Arcona - thanks for the explanation, and that makes perfect sense to me. 👍 The phone I was viewing on is a old Galaxy Note. Top of the range phone at the time, still very capable due to good CPU and Ram... but only ONE speaker. The phone had awful audio, even from day one. So if this video is glitching out to Atmos or something, the down-mix to just one proxy little speaker might be affecting the levels. I may have set EQ etc on phone previously to try and boost sound, and that conflicts with the glitch in this video. I don't care enough to even watch the video again, it wasn't much better than the audio 😃
With scenes he used to tally up the amount of successful ones each of us had done, and only stop the round once we all had 3 for each topic I think. So maybe something similar with this round?

What's really funny about this is that this is the state of British comedy, Rhys is the funniest person on the show and everyone else is forgettable. Nobody is going to watch Rosie Jones at the Apollo, the one who looks like Olive from On The Buses isn't going to have a sold out UK tour
@@RhysJames Apologize Rhys! It sounded so dreadful on my phone that I quickly switched the video off. The speaker didn't enjoy whatever was wrong to the point where it sounded like they were being blown out. Seems to be a lot more tolerable with headphones though so I'll watch it on the computer!
