I'm thinking deep green and gold, (snake like) and add water mix in certain areas instead of the whole thing. I love detail and control. Awesome design you two. I'm also from Wisconsin. Waukesha and madison. Limitless design and remodel is my business.
This looked amazing! Lucky enough to have been in the class to see this in person. Yet another reason to be there for the class! Love Rhonda and Brett!
I loved this, but as someone who works in the stone industry, it will be interesting to see how to create the honed, suede, or leathered finishes. Keep up the great work!
The Ultimate Top Coat give a great leathered type feel to the final product. We use it in over 90% of our installs for those looking for that more natural look. 😊. Thank for watching and leaving some feedback. I’m continually working on improving my skills and I really need y’all’s comments. Thanks again!!
Very cool piece! but please tell me about the small sample behind you at about the 18:05 mark. The light background with brownish veins...it is gorgeous.
Who would have thunk it? Amazing technique Brett, and I have to try it! What ratio of water to acrylic paint do you use, and can you use any kind of Acrylic paints? Thanks Rhonda for having Brett on and sharing this with us!
You’re going to use approximately 2 ounces of color to a spray bottle of water. I have only used Icoat for this look do not know if other companies would work.. I don’t see why they wouldn’t
Wow this was very cool to watch, loved it and will definitely will try this. What is the water and acrylic ratio? Thank you Brett and Rhonda, excellent video!!
You could do it with acrylic paint as well but the pigments wouldn’t be as strong. Dispersions are the pigments used to tint the acrylic paint. They are just more concentrated. 😊
I love how you said “It’s functional art..embrace the change”. This is so true with art! I believe this is what makes artwork so unique and precious!
Agree. Thank you ❤️❤️
I love using the big mica flakes in the sand area of an ocean table to add texture and a rocky out cropping look.

Great job! You guys ROCK!
Thank you!!! We had fun doing this finish! ❤️
Thank you for the info on the edges. I have a 4" drop on a church alter to do and that will help!
Glad I could help 😊
Great look. This is next on the list. 👍🏻

What is that spray paint spinner made with? That’s genius.. my hands are toast and that would help my hands big time
It’s a PVC pipe and a plumbers testing plug. My husband made it for me. 😊
@@RK3Designs thank you, it’s a great invention and I’m gonna try and make one..

@@RK3Designs You're welcome! 🤗
That is absolutely awesome love it
Thank you!! It was fun!!
My man is so mellow... I’d love to see him have a channel. What are dispersion colors?
Yea, He’s pretty cool for sure. Dispersion colorants are pigments used to tint paint. They are very concentrated.
Wow this was very cool to watch, loved it and will definitely will try this. What is the water and acrylic ratio? Thank you Brett and Rhonda, excellent video!!
2oz of each color added to a spray bottle of water
@brett cunningham concrete LLC2oz of color to 8oz of water?
@@blzafour4 ,Brett where at in Wisconsin, I’m in suburbs of Chicago.
@@daleesalinas474 You would be adding that 2oz of color to 12 ounces of water.. I am located three hours north of you near Wisconsin Dells
@@blzafour4 , okay got it, nice thanks for the info.
I can't find the description for materials used.
Great result! I'm not sure I understand "acrylic and dispersing colors". Do you just mean acrylic paint mixed with water?

RK3 Designs is that the same as mica powder?

Hello 👋 everybody...
Hey there!! 👋🏼👋🏼

@@blzafour4 hi
@@RK3Designs hello 👋
Very cool! Almost looks like snake skin. Or an animal print.
It does!! I never thought of that! 😊
You keep calling it a trial instead of trowel, it's annoying
Stop watching then.🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤪
