- Runrig perform A Reiteach at Borlum Farm, Drumnadrochit, Loch Ness. This is an excerpt from their Year of the Flood DVD.
Lyrics:
Bi mo leannan geal is alainn
Le briathran geallaidh thar chaich
Bi sinn druidhe an smuid an aoibhnis
An oidhche phosas mo run
A phosas mo run
Tog glainne mhor na slainte
Thoir an cearcall chun an lar
Theid sinn cuairt taobh cuil na gealaich
An oidhche phosas mo run
A phosas mo run
Chorus Doesn't Mean Anything, It's What's Known As "Mouth Music"
English Translation:
My love will be unblemished
With the words of devotion
Beyond all others
We will be drenched in the stupor of joy
The night my love weds
Lift high the glass of celebration
Take the circle to the dance floor
It will take us to the far side of the moon
The night my love weds
Chorus - เพลง

That was such an epic night :D . An epic afternoon and an epic mudbattle in the car park afterwards .. We were amongst the last to be pulled out. Thanks a lot to the poor local farmer that could be recruited .. you did a great job :D But yes, ill never forget that night :)

Iain Bayne is a legend
+Canmore Music Videos One of the world's best, and yet kind of unknown, drummers. The man's a beast with a pair of sticks. Could probably make an incredible solo out of a bag of rubbish.
True Scottish language!
❤ Saor Alba!
Love it and it's 2020 and I'm English 😬
Reminds me of my heritage
😍
The King of Drums: IAIN BAYNE
Great
@Jeremy Smith
I am more than familiar with the Gaelic language, the line you have quoted is a different line from this song (which isn't sung during this performance). It is normal in Gaelic songs to sing "words" which have literally no meaning but sound nice. The "valley horo, oh choro" etc is an example of this :)
England has nothing like this...
Eigentlich dachte Ich,daß Ich die DVD habe aber Ich habe sie nicht in voller Länge bis auf jetzt

how can be buy this dvd !? to play in canada!? plzzzz i want it sooo bad but cant find it anywhere ! :(
The bit that sounds like "Valley horo, oh choro" etc. is jibberish.. Trust me
@mackablair yes but i want the whole DVD not just the audio i know that
Is it me or Runrig themselves: whenever the trax are sung in Gaelic they seem somehow metaphysical to me, all trax in English are boring pop-rock songs. Exception: Loch Lommond, but that's not surprising.
Yeah it's just you.
@@andymac2935 Thank you, sir. I appreciate your overwhelming wisdom.
