You demonstrated the use of tools I knew were in Vegas but I had no clue what they would be used for. Nothing better than a real world scenario like this. Too often a tutorial would simply state what the feature is or does and demonstrates with a bogus example which, at least for me, is not very useful. I like to see how creatively the feature can be used. You just did that. Thanks again.
Aw! I was doing great upto the Compositing Mode. I don't see the CUT option in Movie Studio 16. :( Sad I am. I tried using Chroma Key, but my bottom half is just as light as my top half (sky) so it's very hard. I might just pin up some green paper. :)
That's always an option make sure it's bright. Filming the whole thing as bright as you can (without it getting overexposed) will help the whole process
From my short time with Vegas I’ve cut out the wanna bes and got yourself and scrapyard films on the follow list as really adding to learning. Any thoughts of doing a join up? I also think that film riot has a good selling point in basing tutorials on a short (30s - 1m) story have you contemplated this format?

So I use movie studio platinum 15 is there really much of a difference from 17 or 18? Was gonna upgrade but didnt know if i should or not

Another note: You can use Chroma key and the mask generator together and let them make up the other's weakness.

I'll certainly look into that, thank you! Scrapyard films is a friend of mine. He definitely has good stuff.
I have a problem. It shows the frames by the video Preview and if i render it, it doesnt goes away, so you can see the fames and i dont want it
