I become an IVE simp and it's not my type yet I'm madly in love with bands like DREAMCATCHER or BLACKPINK but for IVE I have the look of a DAD I find them really adorable. how adorable I found A-PINK when they first started. and then this song is incredible it released a mega hit with the sample of a planetary mega hit.
They are at the forefront of the elegant retro concept in 4th Gen rn. I think LESSERAFIM could also possibly tap into an elegant concept (with them having 2 former members of iz*one as well)

Liz vocals , Gaeul is owning that hairstyle and we finally got some lines and some rap from her… But Rei? I told you she is gonna be a killer. Her confidence and presence and skill set is insane. And I’ve heard that she wrote the rap. And Leeseo? She shines in the center. Her unnies are taking good care of her. I love that they exude sweet , young woman energy without being syrupy or bubblegum. Their team has built a clear consistent concept, and they are branding them really well. The color coded video and better line distribution served that so well. And Wonyoung, in that 1st chorus, in the black fit with straight hair looked more grown up and less cutesy. Rookie of the Year? They deserve it. (Especially since XG will probs not even be considered) And “My Satisfaction” is a little bit dark and villainous.

At this point, ROTY is theirs to lose (although I personally wish it'd go to Billlie, but I have to be a realist). Ive are this group that I never fell in love with heads over heels, but always liked. And I keep liking them more every comeback. They're just completely solid, they do have their identity, and their massive achievements cannot be denied. And let's face it, ROTY 2022 is gonna be one of the most significant awards ever, 'cause if it was solely given according to talent, this thing'd be the bloodbath to end all bloodbaths!

Liz is unarguably the best vocalist in IVE and one of the top 4th gen singers, but she always have very few lines since Love Dive. Starship doesn't utilize her full potential and we are all mad about it. I think the company should already get rid of its favoritism, otherwise it will affect the group.
I agree… I think IVE is rookies of the year. In 2021 Aespa was rookie of the year, winning that title in several music award shows. This year Is IVE’s year to win it. There has been some good debuts this year with Lesserafim being one of them. I think the whole Garham ordeal slowed their momentum or else they could have won it. Also don’t forget about Purple Kiss and Pixy… they won’t win any rookie of the year awards at any music award show, but their talent is on par with the best of them.
If LESSERAFIM didn’t have the scandal and had one more comeback, it would be more of a competition for sure! This comeback just widened the gap for I’VE! They have found their identity certainly! NEWJEANS could have been a competitor as well if they had debuted at the beginning of the year
