I hadn't heard this song in decades until watching a scene in the movie "Faster" staring Dwayne Johnson (the Rock) when a corrupt drug addict detective played by Billy Bob Thornton arrives at his station a mess and all his colleagues stare him over, while the verse played "I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in" really fit the moment, it was a good movie.

I used to have one of Kenny's shirts. Not one that he wore but a western shirt with his face on the label.

When Kenny was Cooool 😎. What a gem with him playing bass. I wonder how his career path would have taken him if he stayed with pop rock music?

He is a great example of my sadness at losing great rock musicians to country, disco, etc over the years.
