Two of the best looking ladies EVER. It’s a shame Elizabeth Montgomery passed at such a young age. Both are absolutely gorgeous. They outshine any chicks on TV today. Nothing fake , just real beauty
Totally agree! I thought EM was extremely hot lookin in the Twilight Zone episode with Charles Bronson called Two (1961). ✌️
You know Serena and Samantha are both Elizabeth Montgomery, right?
@@joejaydee That is correct. However, I believe the 2nd woman he was referring to was Barbara Eden (I dream of Jeannie) who was also in this video. ✌️
The long blonde "flip" hairdos are particularly devastating.
@@joejaydee I was always partial to Elizabeth Montgomery with the Black Wig. Serena was the one for me.
We don't truly appreciate our youth until many decades later, when our children are grown and we happen to catch a video like this, reminding us that everything wonderful from that era no longer exists. It's like a nostalgia heartache mixed with the joy of re-discovery and remembrance. The 60s will forever remain the most remarkable and historic decade of all time.
Well said! 100%
I'm 64 and single. I really wish that I can go back to being young again and APPRECIATE it! Time flew by WAY TO FAST!!!!!
Don't we all want to go back.@@greg2976
Thank you for summing that up perfectly!
True.
We were bullet proof and thought it would last forever. And then suddenly you’re 70😮😢
Ahhhh, the 60s. What a great time to be a teenager.
Or a kid.
Yup, nothing like it😎
!!!!!
I had a ball in the sixties. Teenage boy Free love and a beach a half a block from my house. 1966 I was 16 and in heaven.
or be in a diaper.
I am so glad Barbara Eden is still with us.
yeah and I have her Jeannie Bottle
My two favorite gals on tv. Both so good looking.
I know a guy who met her in person. He says she is a very petite lady!:)
Yes she is.@@MargYork
And both I think very talented.
Two of the most beautiful women to ever walk on the planet!
I’ll take two Montgomerys and one Eden, please.
@@blueabattoirAu Naturale😊
Love/ ❤Sam & Serena & Jeanne & her sister , ❤️ Elizabeth Montgomery & Barbara eden alot
@@blueabattoir YES YES
And you ain't kidding!!
I love Bewitched and I Dream Of Jeannie two very gorgeous women. The 60s were the best years for pop music hands down. Beyond the valley of grooviness.
Sad that Elizabeth Montgomery had to leave us so soon. 😢
A BIG DOUBLE AMEN 😊
I agree about the 1960s because I was a teenager back then, and the music was fabulous. ❤❤❤❤
Of course, the 60s had the Fab Four, the Stones, the Who, Cream, Yardbirds, Zeppelin, The Seekers, The Kinks, just went on and on. The Brits really ruled!
I agree. She was only 62.
Boyce and Hart were true talents and not recognized or credited for creating the sound track of an entire generation!!
Agree 100%
Neither was The Wrecking Crew for performing that music.
Barbra Eden and Elizabeth Montgomery. Incredibly good looking back in the day.
A director/producer I worked with was 19 years old on the set of one of her movies and he would sit with her during the breaks. She was doing a drama about a rape victim, and had to sit off camera in a blanket with nothing underneath and she requested him to assist. He said it she was so stunningly beautiful.
Vaccines and pesticides ensures no one will look like this anymore.
@@DanteDAnthonywhich one? Barbara or Elizabeth?
Elizabeth Montgomery starred in a groundbreaking TV movie, "A Case of Rape".
@@budmcnew7763 Both good looking women, but for me there was always something about Elizabeth.
Doesn't matter how bad of a mood you're in, or how horrible your day was. This will change everything and put a smile on your face!
😊true
So many great shows and songs back then, and you can tell in these clips they were just trying to have some fun - with no heavy political message attached to their performance. As a nation, and as a culture, we've truly lost something that was very special. Who today dances like Elizabeth Montgomery or Barbara Eden? No one. And I, for one, miss those 60s hairstyles. As we seek to discover the joy of being alive again, I think this video is providing us with a big hint on how to do it. Thanks so much for posting!
@@mxbishop I couldn't agree more.
Not necessarily ...... if a 14 year-old boy just found out that his mother died in a car accident, hearing this song may not change everything and put a smile on his face.
i love this song
The music was grand! The farther I get from the 1960's, the more I miss them.....
AGREED 💯!
So do I 😢😢😢
Me too. ☹️☹️
Yeppers
Couldn’t agree more!
Boyce & Hart wrote so many fun Pop songs back then. Half the songs on the Monkees TV show were from them...
For awhile, they toured with Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones as Dolenz, Jones,Boyce and Hart, when screen Gems still owned the Monkees name.
❤cool
@@melissagerber7231 Oh yes. This would have been circa 1976 (and these four men did put out a record of new songs; back then).....
@victorjohnson7512 right on! They were very talented songwriters, as well as singers.
Pop music doesn't get much better than this.
I had a HUGE crush on Elizabeth Montgomery when I was a kid!!!
We all did!
She was my girlfriend back in the day! Of course, she didn't know that, but that's OK.
Line up!😍🤣👍🏼🇦🇺
Me too.
Me too. The hair the clothes the lips. And I’m female❤❤and still love her❤
The two most beautiful Witches of the 60s ❤
E.M. was pretty neat
Seeing Elizabeth Montgomery's 'Bewitched' statue in Salem, Massachusetts was a highlight of our trip there a few years ago!
Barbara wasn't a witch, she was a Jeannie
@@georgehenderson7783talking about Samantha and her twin sisters Sabrina Two Witches
Genie will always be No.1 in my book! Id rather have a genie than a witch any day....
I have come to appreciate Barbara Eden more as I get older. She always seems so happy; an inner beauty comes out when she smiles that matches her outer beauty. Elizabeth Montgomery is one of the most beautiful women ever; I think she is even hotter as her brunette sister!
oops, was Serena her cousin?
Cousin
These older songs keep going the way it should be..
Glorious marvellous times...how did we lose ourselves and let the world become so grey and hateful?
I was about to ask the same thing. Peace, Starlord.
Being a 60s kid myself, I have given that very question a lot of reflection the last few years.
It seemed that way but the Vietnam war was raging in another country now war is being waged on the streets of America
That's when life was 😊 fun
"Alright Bobby, let's go!"
Groovy video, thanks you for posting.
Ya, I’m definitely digging this video as well. Lol. As we used to say back in the day.😅
@@nemracfiftyto6206 Sung quickly: “I can dig it, he can dig it, she can dig it, we can dig it, they can dig it, you can dig it, oh let’s dig it! Can you dig it, baby ?” Friends of Distinction, “Grazing in the Grass”
You gotta love the way we usd to talk back then. Always appreciate talking to someone who can dig that as well.🙂
@@nemracfiftyto6206 Same here! I get occasional compliments on my license plate, which incorporates the word "groovy" LOL😄
Now that is really groovy.🤗
. .✨ Thank you so much, this 1960’s backdrop was my playground growing up, the music was fast for the best dancing and we did have this much fun, acting silly but harmless, and probably looking ridiculous but for real, it was genuinely fun being young then 👍🏻 !
ALWAYS LOVED THAT ❤ SONG 🎵 🎶 ❤
Me too
My preteen self was madly in love with these two women!
I remember seeing this as a little girl!! The tune grabbed me even then !!
Loved those 2. There have been women AS beautiful as BE and EM, but there has never been anyone MORE beautiful than them. Great song as well.
"Serena Stops the Show"
1 of my favorite episodes that I actually remember watching when it first aired!
Perfect selection and edit of clips to go along with this song.
Nice,I love it,I was born 1955.I grew up with this on A.M.Radio.
Groovy editing job! Thanks!
Thank you so much for this memory. I forgot this tune. As i wipe away my tears.❤
Simple,the next generations ruined everything.
This is better and earlier than MTV !!!!
Bring back music videos on MTV like it was when it started !!! !!!
Pleeeeaaàassssseeeee!!!
60s fashion was the best out there..!!!! ❤
Elizabeth, Barbara, and a great song - memories just made my evening.
You've got that right, loved being a teenager back then and also being 73 today viva life!!!!!!😅😂❤🎉
The sixties you had to be there . If you weren’t you just plain missed it. It will never happen again
This video takes me back in time. ❤
Wow, I had forgotten this song. It was huge in the sixties.
Nailed It!!! Just makes me happy!😊 Thanks 👍👍
What a happy hippie
sunshine pop tune.
"Out and About" was another piece
of fine work.
B and H wrote, "Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows" the theme song to the movie of the same name 1968.
They were the songwriting "dynamic duo"
Tommy took off to rock and roll heaven in 1994.
Bobby is still with us.
Barbara Eden was so cute playing the drums. And she could dance too..
From what you stated, Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart were also on an episode of "I Dream of Jeanie"? (Like the TV show "Bewitched", I did not see/watch this TV show much. [I, therefore, would not have known about Tommy & Bobby being on this TV show; way back when.])
Barbara would look good doing anything. ANYTHING.
I always loved this song and I always loved the episodes with Serena!!
This brought a big smile to my face!😊
That's so cool when that one guy says, "Come on now!"
I keep hitting replay, I can't help it. Love the song and vid!!!
Elizabeth Montgomery and Barbara Eden were two of the prettiest women to ever be on television. There was an air of class to both of them. Teenage boys loved them, interesting since both women were old enough to have teenage children. In the clips used in this video, the Boyce and Hart episode of IDOJ was from October of 1967. Barbara Eden was 36 years old at that time. The clips of Elizabeth Montgomery look 1968-ish, making her 35 years old. These shows done today would use twenty something women, not women in their thirties. Barbara Eden will be 93 years old later this year. She's five months younger than William Shatner and fifteen months younger than Clint Eastwood. Our sixties stars continue to hang on and hopefully will for many years to come, but actuarial tables are not on their side.
Barbara Eden had some moves!
It’s fun to hear songs from my pre teen years!
Elizabeth Montgomery ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
1 of the many small records I owned as a kid and into my mid 30's.
So Psychedelic! These Lightshows are sorely missed and so is the music. Now look what we have that passes for Music and Lightshows. It's so depressing.
God I love the 60s
Mid to late 1960's in Southern California what a time to be alive
The party was interrupted and took a huge hit after an unfortunate gathering of unwelcome guests in a secluded property in Benedict Canyon.
I was there 1964😅
A high water mark for American coolness
Barbara just one great lady...you can tell she had FUN in her career...Bless her!
I got this groovy song stuck in my head! Aaaargh …..need a new tune 🎵! To obsess over haha
This song holds so many memories!
Hollywood gets NOT NEARLY THE CREDIT IT DESERVES IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. Bewitched elizabeth Montgomery, and i dream of jeannie barbra eden two classic greats of the swinging 60s
The I Dream of Jeannie theme song is one of my earworms: it pops up out of nowhere, in the strangest places. Just the other day, I was in a grocery store and the next thing you know I'm humming it as I walked up the aisles. There's nothing I can do. It's just there. No doubt it'll be the last thing I hear when I die.
Barbara Eden could really dance but to me, Elizabeth Montgomery was the most beautiful woman on the planet. Two of my biggest teenage crushes.
My grandfather worked on the show. When Montgomery got tired of playing Samantha 30 times a year, she would introduce the wild---sort of---Serena and rock out!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁
He always said that the crew loved here. (Most people don't realize that she was pregnant and working full time ALOT of the time) Some others.....not so much.
Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart were one of the top songwriting teams of the '60s, to my mind.
The best soul single. 😀💙🥃🪩
Love this❤
Boyce and Hart were incredible. Monkees hits plus this great hit for themselves. “Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows”, “Out and About”, and “Goodbye Baby” are equally groovy.
Also, "Alice Long".
@@frdjr2527 Alice Long sounded a bit too much like I wonder what she’s doing tonight for my liking.
@@moorlock2003Follow ups to big hits were usually a rework of the original. It's been done for years.
@@frdjr2527 yes and nobody wants to buy the same record twice.
Fabulous 60s TV stars. Loved them and they're shows.
Jeannie was a better dancer than Samantha. But love them both! Fantastic video

This video is so way cool. I love it!
Id come home to watching the monkeys right after school.as soon as the school bell rang out all pf us would run home to watch the monkeys and talk about the episodes. Thats what my generation talk to each other during recess.❤an innocent time.
Barbara Eden. Holy moly.
Do I have to explain why I’m stuck in the sixties and thank god can’t get out. Back when music was fun, what a concept. Thank you for sharing.
😂 Retro greetings from coastal Mississippi. Been watching TV since 1969. What a wonderful flashback of memories. ❤ Sadly in 2023, the bewitched house among others have been torn down😢
God it’s been decades since I heard that song teenage memories.
Wow, those were fun times. 😎

To be young again!
Now I remember why I used to watch those goofy shows.
