I have no experience with brazing, but I do know the brazed metal I've worked around in the past had rust underneath the repair. So I think the probability of rust is similar for both brazing and welding. Treating the repair areas with things like zinc/phosphate coatings, seam sealer and epoxy primer should eliminate the possibility of rust in the future. Hope this helps and thanks for your comment!
