    I bought the full course but want to let you know that I absolutely love that you are making this knowledge available to everyone for free. It was an eye opener for me.

    Thank you very much Peter! I’ve learned so much from you. It’s also uncanny how what I’m learning plays such a big role in other woodworking too; i.e. How the direction I have pegs/drawbores positioned can positively or negatively impact just how well the joint will move over time. Some things are intuitive, but learning the not so intuitive tips really expands knowledge multiplicatively.

    i would be happy to a comparison of how your maethod is better than just a randomly cut piece of the same size soaked and bent

    • @PeterGalbert
      @PeterGalbert  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's a very good question. I've bent lots of wood and observed that the failures often happen where the materials surface is not in alignment with the fibers. That said, real science would require doing both for comparison, perhaps I'll give it a try when I get a chance.

      that's gonna have more real marketing potential imao. your didacture is joyful and hypnotising, but when it goes about infoproduct people would like seeing more proofness in advertising when they have doubts. cheers n my best wishes for you

    OK Imat about at 20:00, and you are saying I should not try to STEER the split but just split it then split the rest parallel. This is good info for reading the grain, but how to intigrate teaching I received about steering the split.

    Woodworking is dangerous and should be practiced under any conditions?

    • @crunchysaviour
      @crunchysaviour ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because it's unfortunately easier to get money by suing Peter Galbert because you cut your own arm off with a bandsaw than it is to earn it honestly through decades of hard-earned skill in the noble and traditional craft of fine chairmaking, i guess! 😉
