There is not a single 25-35 old in Romania that doesnt know by heart all the show lines. Its like I relive my childhood everytime I watch them. I would have loved more seasons but I think its safe to say the show is simply perfect from start to finish. Unique in every aspect. Thanks, Louie, may your soul rest well along your family.

This hits hard. Life with Louie was my top favorite cartoon growing up. Although it was a russian dup, it still managed to deliver a personality for every character, especially Andy. Thank you for wonderful piece of childhood memory! Rest In Peace Louie Anderson.

He was my favorite standup comedian. The way he turned his pain to laughter, telling hilarious stories that also had heart, made my childhood feel a little less dark. RIP, Louie. 💛🙏
I remember watching Louie Anderson on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in the late 80s. Such an amazing talent and my sympathies for his family and friends.

I loved that show. My whole life I've quoted it. "Oh geez", "oh Louie, don't'cha know". No one has ever got the references. Since the 90s I've thought about Louie every day
I had the pleasure of interacting with him several times over the course of about 5 days during Christmastime, 2018. I was working as a front desk host at the hotel he stayed at while in town for a show. Despite most of our “up-scale” clientele being extremely rude and boasting a false sense of entitlement, Mr. Anderson was just the opposite - he was a true gentleman, always going out of his way to be especially kind to my coworkers and me. The morning he checked out, I carried his suitcase out to the taxi/Uber (as was our policy), and, while we waited, he asked me how my family was doing with heartfelt interest. Really cool to meet a celebrity who was so genuine and down to earth. I hope you’re with Jesus now, Louie.
Such warm childhood memories of the cartoon. R.I.P. legend. You showed us how to get through childhood. Genuinely kind people like you are too hard to find.
I remember seeing Louie’s first appearance on Carson and many more stand up routines after. He was always great with his delivery. Very funny. RIP big guy.
RIP Louie. Thank You for ALL the laughs. We were so blessed to have you here on Earth and gave you your flowers. Hope you're with your Mom, Dad and Grandma. You will be missed dearly!!!!❤❤❤🕊🕊🕊
rest in peace Lui that little show you made bring lot of joy to my childhood and taught me really valuable lessons. i remember watching that show on russian and voiceacting for andy was phenomenal .ty for everything
I love how rich his vocabulary is! Always learning some expressions from him. Great job done and you will be remembered long after passing away. Appreciate all the hard work, the result is totally worth it
Always loved Louie. As a kid i watched his show and its re-runs religiously and for some reason i still think about the "flood" episode probably once a month lol. Where his dad built a sandbag barrier around the house to keep it dry. Every time it rains hard i think about that. Louie was such a funny guy and i really wish he was in more things. Just the other day i saw an ad for Steve Harvey as a new "daytime tv judge" and thought "man... if they had cast someone actually funny like Louie that would be a hit".

Every once in a while I remember Louie and it just takes me back to my childhood, when in mornings before school Life With Louie would be on TV. Nostalgia.
I watched him as a kid and this month i watch again the animated show and i just learned that he died yesterday 🙂 rip and thanks for the things you made us understand about life!
You know, I accidentally found “LWL” only a week ago. I’ve just finished watching it and I think it’s a brilliant show. I wish I could have found it before😢Rest in Peace, Louie Anderson🙏
I saw Louie at a studio recording 3 years ago and he just couldn’t stop making us laugh. I would never forget how his voice always cracked me up as a kid. Gone but definitely not forgotten. Rest in Paradise Louie 🕊❤️
Like a funny uncle he was always just kind of there. He'd show up on late night shows or Comedy Central. Then he;d pop up every weekend in Coming to America on some cable channel. Life was Louie was (and is) so funny. Then he just came back in full force in Baskets. A legit talent just sharing who he was, faults and trauma, sadness and laughs. Brillant.
Thanks for doing the series Louie. It came out in my mid-twenties but watched it every day after working construction. Baskets made me feel the same. RIP you brought a lot of happiness to this former Midwestern boy.

I hate getting news of celebrity deaths through Conan clips. The weird thing is I was just catching up on Search Party yesterday and stopped on the episode where Louie's character talks about going out with a bang and not being around in another year.
I remember Life with Louie back when it first came on when I was like 9 years old. That was my first introduction to him was his voicing the show. Than when so many years later I saw who the person was behind the voices and his stand up career. Good times good times.

I had the pleasure of seeing Louie perform in Vegas in the nineties, so funny, so charming. I remember a drunk tried to heckle him with offensive fat comments, well he shut up real fast as Louis’s fast biting wit turned the tables on the jerk! I’ll always remember that night! May you Rest In Peace sweet man, the world won’t forget your wonderful spirit! 🙏🏻

Most people don't know about his stand-up career but his show was massively popular in Turkey. RIP.
Turkey? Like Istanbul? Strange.
His stand up for "This Is Not Happening" is without a doubt the most wholesome set of the series
The cartoon was massive in Romania too. RIP.
It was?? That’s awesome. I always thought he was underrated

Norm, Betty White, now Louie. God took all great comedians
I was bored by Life with Louie as a kid, but I LOVE it as an adult. It's so relatable now. The father on the show is just like my dad.

Very nicely said!👏 It's the first show where I actually liked the Romanian voices better than the original ones, at least for the parents.
RIP Louie Anderson
I loved "Life With Louie" as a kid and I loved "Baskets" as an adult, Louie was a great comedian and performer.💙
I was just about to say the same thing. RIP Louie, you were great.

This hits hard. Life with Louie was my top favorite cartoon growing up. Although it was a russian dup, it still managed to deliver a personality for every character, especially Andy. Thank you for wonderful piece of childhood memory! Rest In Peace Louie Anderson.
It is actually one of the great dubs. Gave its own "spirit" to the cartoon, leaving the idea intact.
I dare to say Polish dub was even better than the original. Enjoyed every second of it.
