One question I've always had is, "Where does all our sand come from?" I know 'erosion' is the usual answer, but we're talking quadrillions of cubic tons covering this planet. It lines the sea floor, spills out onto the beaches, washes across our deserts, etc. That's a heck of a lot of rock to erode. How big was everything before it all broke down into the finely grained sand we see today?
What he called sandstone is very pretty on the inside you can see what it used to look like, creamy white like marble, before either weathering or the cataclysm gave it the dark streaks it mostly has on the exterior now

There is a smaller temple in the vicinity of Angkor Wat built entirely of orange laterite. I don't recall the name or location, it is off the side of a main road and only known to some people. While at Angkor Wat, a local friend described the "sandstone" as "high-quality cement".

Deepavali is the Indian festival of lights, usually lasting five days and celebrated during the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November).One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Deepavali symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Furthermore a celebration of the day Lord Rama returned to his kingdom with his wife Sita and brother Laxman 'Ayodhya' after defeating the Lankan-king Ravan after serving 14 years of exile. So, this festival was originated from Ayodhya India.(Facts-happened around 5000 bc,its still being celebrated, because lord Rama was Avatar of hindu God) google "ram setu or Adam bridge

We all forgotten what we once knew.. there is no competition between who was first if we do not know what we once knew. I'm glad this man is helping us to see what we once could do as a specie
@J Bar it is not exactly so. We have to commit that first foremost knowledge had come from arians whoes originated from India. What I say comes from the third Eyes of India's yogis and avatars. They hurled all knowledge all over the world. Pls read for example Sri Aurobindo's writings. Arains have nothing to do with Europeans and others, including my ancestors.
@J Bar you are wrong. Read Sri Aurobindo's writings and you will see same thing from different angle. There were and are none who have realised Brahman save Indians. Even Jesas had to be to India for his highest realisation.
Praveen, it is not just your knowledge, for that is available equally to any who seek it. Nor is it just your deep understanding of the region's histories and cultures, these too are attainable to anyone that will invest the time and effort. And as great as it is, which I could scarcely over praise, your communicative abilities, superlative as they are, are still not your greatest asset. You place yourself in the moment where your inner eye travels. It is a rare gift to be able to look back across centuries and not view the totality like a demigod. To see not just the prince, but the merchant and the weaver, the engineer and the begger. The past was a living landscape, not a diorama. It was filled with lives, lived and lost as men are won't to do. There was equal bliss and horror in their lives, much like our own. And your work is there, in the mud, as much as the throne, in the by ways and alleys of the misty past. This brings these places alive to the questioning mind. I appreciate your body of work. And I am Indian. But one from North America, a Native Aboriginal. So as one Indian to another, I salute you. Keep up the good work, you are appreciated.
For indian history enthusiasts their is only and only stop .. Parveen mohan yt channel ...great work sir you investigate and explain everything very nicely ..your research and investigations are great 👌

Diwali is a festival which celebrates triumph of light over darkness. Similarly, @PraveenMohan is doing exactly the same thing. Slowly and gradually he is removing the layers of darkness that the humanity has been living in for centuries. God bless, bro ! Keep it up
Thanks for your explanation of the festival. Yes, very appropriate to Praveen"s work.
🤝🤝👏👏 truth
Congratulations for making such a wonderful video with high quality content , but ancient builders never fooled us, but they have shown optimum and right use of resources and how to handle the limitations of raw material and still give generations a world class example of temple architecture.
So I'll pause the video and share this. I had the same thought while watching your earlier video in which you were talking about the amount of sandstone blocks. Thanks for this video!
What an explanation ! And what a truth revealed ! what engineering skill ! What wonder ! Ankor Watt gets new life in the hands of the great Praveen Mohan .
Outstanding information as always. Thank you. Hello from Texas.
Whenever you share his videos...

We want to make Praveen our head of Archaeological department (or at least a part of it) 💓
Seriously man.. Our frd Praveen needs support to tell our ancient culture and archeology to the world.
But he is able to do these outstanding researches because he iss staying away from the govt. if he enters under govt. researches they will not let him do all he does when he will be working under them they just wants to keep everything hidden from our eyes.......
Thats why we need him as the head. So that he and the people under him can work without inhibition.
@@gaurisankar6723 Yes bro, but Praveen need funds and legal authority to do deep dive research and take it to next level to tell the world that India had advanced technology in ancient period.
It's surprising how each of your video ends without realising. It's commendable how nicely you weave your findings and your explanations. I enjoy each and every video of yours. Good job. Thanks for bringing the out of the box facts , they are really incomparable.
Glad you like them Ravina!! Do share the video with your friends too!!
There is a smaller temple in the vicinity of Angkor Wat built entirely of orange laterite. I don't recall the name or location, it is off the side of a main road and only known to some people. While at Angkor Wat, a local friend described the "sandstone" as "high-quality cement".
The outer wall is beautifully made. Look at how it is fitted together and carved with the top and bottom of the wal.
News discoveries on every video of Praveen! This guy is simply amazing!
Imagine if this guy was sent to Egypt to study the Great Pyramid for a whole year. I would like to see the result of his research!
Give this guy a Noble prize!
What a Dwali gift!! Thank you, Praveen for unravelling the ancient glory of Indian civilization to the world
Once again I am awestruck by the truth of the matter. Bless you, Praveen. We have learned so much from your diligence for truth and understanding. From Canada with love and respect.
From my point of view as an architect,,, I would like to thank you for the outstanding comprehensive work on ancient architectural investigation.... You are a true genius.
I must be a weirdo because I like the texture of the volcanic rock instead of the sandstone. But like you said the volcano Rock is the blood the body in the bones. Keep up the great work can't wait until next time
Weird
Actually if anything the basalt is the bones the sand is the blood and guts and the sandstone is the flesh
The vulcanik stone is to store The water from heavy Rain for The dry period, and same time The rituals in The Temple is for bless The water
@Glory to God large containers?
@Glory to God i think they smarter than that.. Better to let The vulcan stone suck it up and Then slow let it out during dry period for it was plenty People to feed and watering plants, also The water got blessed in The Temple exactly The idea of hindu religion
Most challenging building in terms of reaserch and climbing
WISH U A HAPPY DEEPAVALI DUWALI PRAVEEN MOHAN ....
I came across your channel yesterday and by now I have seen many videos of yours, i m not able to stop learning more. You are talking about every single thing i have thought about and what i was finding answers for. I love how you u combine ancient hindu texts and science, and that is how I have always looked at hinduism as (untold science and logic accepted and stereotype now). I bow down to your knowledge sir and I bow down to your parents too.
Your videos are not repeating information from other sources but you are performing your own research giving New information from a perspective that is not shown in other formal sources!!!! Bravo!!! Greetings from México!
Hello Praveen, Amazing work as always. Thanks for bringing these facts.
Hey Praveen,
You seem to be one of the lucky guys who got locked down in 🇰🇭 Cambodia !
What a luck to thoroughly investigate this site and to have enough time-we were told the whole complex would be as big as Paris,so there’s a lot to walk and a lot to see!
Hope to be there myself soon to explore Angkor wat by bicycle.....🚴💦
Continue your important work, you already collected wisdom on your way,and let us be a part of your journey 🙏🍀👌
As usual, this video brings something new. What those builders have done is impressive, and seems quite unreal, but they certainly had means that we never heard about,as everything has been hidden to us for centuries.
Maybe it is so simple we over think it. I have no clue
I've watched a lot of your videos. Every time you bring out the wonders associated with these ancient constructions. The interest you show in revealing the truth of the ways and lives of our ancients is unparalleled. I wish you tremendous success in your selfless service.
From England, this pensioner thanks you, I'll never be able to see these marvels .Your off track, off message view is enlightening, informative, entertaining and thought making. Well done!
Thank You Robert! Do share the video with your friends too!!
आपका सभी कार्य आश्चर्यजनक और सराहणीये है l मेरी शुभकामनाएं l 🙏 😀 🌹
Wooww ... There must be subjects like Ancient Hindu Engineering Marvels in Schools .. OMG so much Science is involved here ! And so called Europeans wanna claim Science as theirs 🙄
It might surprize you to learn that all Europeans are human. Some are even Hindu ! What are you ?
But still we don't know how deep is the knowledge of Mother India's children. I mean Sri Chinmoy, Sri Aurobindo, Sri Krishna, Sri Ramakrishna ....
Parveen mohan yt channel ...great work sir you investigate and explain everything very nicely ..your research and investigations are great 👌
I've always wanted to learn more about the architecture in ancient times... I want vthe government of India to take good interest in addition of the same into the academic syllabus..
But they won't 🙄
@@shravberri unless we make it happen

What has been unknown will be known in the end...Thank You..
Praveen Mohan ji you are great God blessed person who shows us this incredible construction of temples heritage. Thanks again and stay blessed.
What a project this was? Incredible logistics and ingenuity went into achieving it. On an educational level, the builders seem to have been way ahead of today's.
Always your vedios are extraordinary ❤️🔥🔥🔥

My full family is the fan of Praveen mohan specially children they are taking keen interest in his video। This is a good sign
Praveen makes amazing archaeological discoveries almost daily. Imagine if mainstream academia was allowed to take this guy seriously. If he sold out and kept quiet about the more controversial stuff, he would probably be one of the biggest names in the field.
Thank you...
Praveen your explanation is always great. Thank you.
It is always interesting to know everything deeply about history
I love true history
