@@mariaphilomena1422 Pole baffles are most effective in hen they are mounted 4 to 4.5 ft above the ground. Feeders ca actually hang down near the top of the baffle if they are over 4ft from the ground
Thank you! Looks like good products except for 1 thing. I would like to mount on the top the Squirrel-Be-Gone II Country House Bird Feeder, which is my favorite squirrel-proof bird feeder. AND I need some sturdy hooks for other bird feeders or even hanging baskets. However, it looks like this pole system only allows sturdy hooks at the top as a topper, and there's no room for a bird house or feeder at the top of the pole. I've run into this problem a lot, and can't find a sturdy system. This feeder is really heavy, so I can't use the cheaper, smaller poles that allow putting hooks anywhere. If you have any recommendations, I would appreciate it.
erva does make many arms that work with their poles. We have more options in the store but go to the online store and in the search bar look at FPWF4 and FPWF5. Those are both heavy duty coil hangers that attach to the 1" diameter round poles.
when we buy our home soon, I will need a bear pole high and strong because we live in the smokies, right now we feed on the 1 inch poles, but those might not be strong enough or high enough to keep bears from feeding
Bears do present their own se of challenges. The best poles I’m familiar with are the two inch square poles from Hilltop Specialties in Indiana. They have an aerial feeder my station that is adapted from their Purple Martin poles
thanks so much for the information you have a wonderful personality and i love that you’re located in the midwest we can absolutely relate to the wind here in nebraska!! 🩷🩷🩷
Thank you for such an informative video! I just placed an order on your website. We been feeding birds for years using tall shepherd's hooks with squirrel baffles. Recently we just started having trouble with some type of animal bending them over. We think it may be deer. So Hopefully getting a better pole system will deter the animals.
Thank you very much - this is really insightful. Good man!
Thanks for watching!
Great tips! ❤ the anchor & electrical tape ones. 😊
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the support of the channel
What is the ideal distance from the baffle to the feeder?

Thanks for tuning in.
I just put my poles in cement. You can use the kind that you pour into the hole around the pole dry and then add water. It sets very quickly.
Great if you know you will not be needing to move them anytime soon.

Thank you for tuning in. Deer are heavy enough to bend some poles. Thank you for the support of our store.
