Risk Mitigation 9) Water Damage

We are going to go through a bunch of different recommendations over the next month or so on you and your family can help mitigate risk within your household or around your household. Things can happen at any time, no matter how prepared we are, but if you are not prepared it could end in ways we would not want them to end. Mitigate means, "make less severe, serious or painful. It also means in different words to lessen the gravity of an offense or mistake.
We try to do everything we can to make sure everything around us is as safe as possible. With this series we just wanted to put out some reminders on what we would suggest to do. There are serious trained professionals out there that actually focus on "preparedness" in all different types of situations. The ones that we are talking about are more related to your home. Don't forget to remind your family , friends and neighbors to make sure they are trying to "mitigate" risks in their own life. Never hurts to remind someone of this these things, especially when you care for them.
