I heard Billy Graham once say " Prayer is work" and it is so. When i make supplications and requests in my daily prayers for people i see their face and know them when i pray it is work but pleasant work. Im praying for all of my christian brothers and sisters out there. Please pray for me. Thanks.
Prayer is the most powerful and effective tool in our spiritual arsenal. I once listened to a former warlock say that the one thing he could never get through was a circle of praying Christians. 🙌🏾🙏🏾
Some life and death experiences here on earth are often beyond our words to express even in prayer. Thank you our Holy Spirit for help at these times. ❤️🙏🏼
Sometimes when I finally start to pray, I start to feel like someone is waiting for me to do something at that moment - I need to be more "concentrated" during the praying.
Could someone please help me reconcile God's "LOVE" with what he allows us to be put through. I'm having a serious crisis of faith. I DO understand that life, unto itself,is not church picnics on Sunday days. I get that. But I think about JOB and all the physical and emotional torture he was put through, in order to prove a point.
Jesus said this about how we ought to pray: "Our Father who is in Heaven, hallowed be your name; your kingdom come, your will be done" (Matthew 6:9). *If we pray for God's will, then we accept whatever the future may hold,* and we trust the Spirit to guide our words and our choices (John 16:13) in life. If whatever happens matches with our prayers, then it is proof that we are focused on God's will. If our prayers aren't answered, *it's not because God said no; it's because we didn't want what God wanted* and has planned for us from the very beginning. In this way, the future may be predestined, but our choices matter "so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil" (2 Corinthians 5:10).
My prayers have grown into walking working rising or lying down i pray, its so great. I used to try to be so lazy and make excuses not to pray.
Since I started listening to Adrian rogers sermons,life is changing,

The reality of the rich and the poor is this: the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left
The reality of humanly wealth (money) is none of us take any of it away from the earth and spend it in the future.
