1989年にSNKより登場した恐竜シューティング「原始島」の第2弾。グラフィックがパワーアップし、フルスクリーンムービーまで見ることができる。新たな攻撃法としてショットボタンを押し続ければ、レバーで方向制御が可能な特殊弾を発射できる。また、ステージの途中でさまよっている人々を救助するという任務も重要。これらの人々を救出することでアイテムが出現する。今作ではライフ制が採用され、回復アイテムも頻繁に登場するなど、前作からは考えられないほど難度は低くなっている。今作の開発はSNKではなくなぜか夢工房である。

As if dinosaurs wen't scary/intimidating enough with their size, strength, ferocity and keen senses. We now are exposed to a universe where they live side by side with us and can now can now shoot projectiles!
"My Favorite Game of All of Times" .. The designers should launch a new version of it with the same graphics (slightly improved only) and with more levels and bosses, I would pay whatever it was for that
Great game and I love the graphics. I had no idea I would get 5 times more points for NOT using rescue copter before a boss battle.
Great game. I'm not sure if I like this better than the original, though. It was so weird when it first came out.

@@RetroClash95 If thats literally your only reason why you thought that I thought Isle 2 waa better mainly because of the ending, you've lost.
The game has some nice graphics (albeit not nicely colored) and whereas Pulstar 1 and 2 were absurdly unfair, this game is actually the most forgiving game of any shooter thats out there, and the bombs are easy to replenish and useful for tough situations, oh and the final boss isn't a joke or something predictable either

Ahhh te lo perdiste. Esta buenisimo (inculuso en MAME) aunque eso si, pese a que el jefe final y el penúltimo son los que valen la pena, muchos consideramos que este fue un juego mucho mas fácil que la primer parte.

Why don´t touch the rescue helicopter to leave the persons?
If you're carrying people when you finish the level, you'll get a large point bonus for them-but if you transfer them to the rescue helicopter, you'll only get power-up items.
