スーパー戦国アクションゲーム「戦国伝承」の続編として登場したアクションゲーム。操作は移動用の8方向レバーと攻撃にボタンを2つ、さらにジャンプとチェンジで合計4つのボタンを使用する。チェンジボタンを使用することで、それぞれの持つ能力が異なり強い味方となる天狗や忍者、忍犬に変身することが可能となっている。ゲームシステムの殆どは前作と同じであるが、変身に制限が無くなり、攻撃ボタンを同時押しすることで敵の攻撃を防御できるようになったほか、ステージ構成が戦国、大戦、現代、さらに騎馬戦ステージも用意されバラエティになり、前作以上のカタナ･アクションを楽しむことができる。
ストーリー：
邪悪なサムライ軍団を率いて未来までも支配しようと企む闇の君主と、現代から歴史を守るために導かれた光の戦士2人が繰りひろげる熾烈な闘い。戦国時代、大戦時代、現代･･･と歴史を駆け巡り、闇の君主の野望を打ち砕け！
