have you seen the weapons they have with their o-ring figures? they are over-sized and terrible.. not at all like the original hasbro o-ring weapons. if you like them, that's cool.. but I don't like the super 7 weapons, and they probably won't change for the fan base, because super 7 is stupid like that.
That’s one thing you and I can agree on. lol 😂 try weapons are not so good but Snake eyes sword is not to bad when you compare it to the vintage and cobra commanders weapon one of them is spot on. And cobra commander makes for an excellent hooded cobra commander his head does perfectly
I bought 20 I do enjoy the Bats they are not to bad at all. What bugs me is they did use a cheaper plastic and snake eyes should have been jet black not grey and they should not have painted his boots. I thought it was blue but when compared to blue it looks purple lol 😂
I will bet that the army building figures in this line will look awesome but the over sized weapons do suck big time. But I am over all happy with them and th cover girls head does work to make a cobra officer agent fits perfectly on the cobra officers body
When it comes to Major Bludd, my fav "version" is a kitbash of Rob's 2000s Bludd body combined with the 91 Sonic Fighters Bludd's head. That way, you can nix the sickly, pale skin tone Hasbro used on those 2000s era figs.
2 hour weigh in on the Reaction + figures, can't wait to listen. Personally I love them. Nothing's perfect and not everyone will be happy with each figure but it's a pretty decent effort and hopefully Super7 will improve them down the line.
The in-hand experience will be the most informative. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. I know some folks who have them in-hand and here are their comments: - The swivel necks are a bummer (and feels lazy). - The smooth, thin, barely detailed legs look and feel out of place. - Cover girl's head looks terrible. But Cobra Commander looks inspired. - The plastic quality feels good. And the paint is sharp. - Overall, the figures pale in comparison to the other oring lines released recently, such as Delta 17 and the Skeletron Wolf Squad troops. Moving forward, Super7 needs to add ball joint necks (at a minimum) if not also increase the level of sculpting detail to match the detail/effort of its marketplace competitors -- or else the line will probably limp along until it dies.
Wow, Steve, the detail of CCs grenade launcher similar to the trooper, the fact that you noticed, that’s why I love you. You point out beautiful details that the rest of us otherwise would have missed entirely.

I did see sone reviews saying these are much better in hand. I've pre ordered this batch from a local distributor and will judge when I open them
I don’t think the head sculpt of Cover Girl is a good one. If Super 7 would have sculpted the eyes and then painted them in (like with the original Joes), in stead of just painting them, they would have prevented the thousand yards stare. They have made excellent, beautiful female head sculpts in their other Reaction properties. It baffles me that they don’t get it right with Cover girl. I already thought the 5POA version of Cover Girl was a miss, but now I think that is the best one of the two. My appologies for the negativity 😬😅.
I'm just thankful that someone is back releasing official o-ring figures that don't require you to also get a Transformers! I'm lucky in that I was able to get all of them at the Super 7 store, so I even got a free BAT (buy 4 get 1 free). I do wish they had articulated wrists like the Delta 17 figures though, those are hard to live without once you use play with them.... the BAT has articulated wrist since you can swap out the hands.
I have bought all the four of the first wave - and am waiting for the Crimson twins. The B.A.T.s are the stars of the wave, and will be outstanding army builders if they become available in quantity. CC is also very strong, with an excellent head sculpt. I feel underwhelmed by SS, due mostly to the blue coloring and Cover Girl is the least impressive of the batch, for a few reasons, including the fact that her arms have a slightly oveal cross section and look wrong in certain positions. I'd really like to see Super 7 bring in the heads that go up and down as well as around. This first wave isn't at all perfect, but for O-ring fans, it is a very promising start. If they choose genuinely new versions of existing characters and previously unreleased O ring fgures, this could become incredibly cool.
Around 1:11, the discussion about finding something in a store vs ordering online is a real thing. (That said, supporting BBTS as they are headquartered here in Wisconsin.) Great discussion!
Just gotta say it, "I told you so" how much better is G.I. Joe minus Snake Eyes ;) Scarlett gets more room to grow Storm Shadow gets more room to grow as an aside I love how the characters use each others real names during quiet conversations, it always felt a bit clunky that they *always* used codenames. loving the EU thank you Skybound

When Jinx and Scarlett reunite at the end of #3 they have an emotional greeting; but then in the start of #4 they’re being guarded about letting on they know each other until Jinx uses an EMP device. I somehow imagined these limited series to be more nailed down! Plus the Cobra chopper arrived twice; and it’s a different chopper each time. Loose!

However I think that there were actually two helicopters, the first one had the small team of troopers that attempt to get the sword first "the area is not secured" guys, which is why when the Second chopper arrives (with the commander) it announces it self with a rocket instead of landing. adn real name moents I was refering to was mainly between Shana and Harlen.
And snake eyes should have been jet black not grey blue. So not to impressed with that and the over sized weapons but other then that I am enjoying them and they will make a tiger force snake eyes so I will love that one. And just wish that his visor was more detailed

I've purchased the B.A.T., Covergirl, and the Twins, and passed on CC and Snake Eyes because I got the Duke & CC two pack Commander and i like that one, as for the Snake Eyes, I'm not liking the blue on the figure. I'm totally looking forward to see what else Super 7 comeout with...come on do a Satan figure trom Pyramid of Darkness, please!!! Anyway awesome stiff today. Those 90 Piranhas are awesome. And yes, they look excellent flanking an 85 Moray.

I love having new figures because our vintage ones are very brittle plus you might not want to ruin a vintage figure.
