I watched the entire 1 hour vod on Park's YT. This summary is amazing. Really cool to get him to talk about his Thirst build. I still don't know how I want to build my Reaper yet either, but he's selling me on full swift. Gigachad salesman.
I actually made this build already still only 3 engravings with the prices and 1500 swift and honestly it feels awesome. You're literally flying across the screen. It takes a lot of practice tho to use all skills efficiently and not dash into the boss. Lunar is definitely a lot easier than this playstyle if you don't know the skills yet
I would have been okay with pheons if it was at a fixed priced instead of it scaling with inflation. It’s also sad NAW and SA accounts are being left behind to suffer the most from inflation of 4k+ gold per 100 blue crystals with no hopes of region transfers. NAE will be the last remaining server untouched to keep the game alive in global. My advice is start your account all over in NAE if you haven’t already. If you start in any EU, you’re just playing in a soon to be dead server. P.s. The game encourages you thru powerpasses to make alts to funnel your main or collectively sell those mats to use gold to buy pheons to use those pheons to buy gear that still cost gold. In addition to each tier of gear costing additional pheons the higher the tier. Also there is one type of gear that still costs pheons which still needs to be rolled on for stats that has .004% chance of being a better than average. As you can see, all these systems in place is meant for the player to either get lucky, grind and be behind, or swipe to pay to win for more chances of having just decent gear.

As someone who goes full swift on my main classes ( tai scrapper and TTH gunslinger) really glad its viable on reaper and the benefits of full swift builds are being made known to more people! Besides being a super fun and sexy playstyle :3
I will be curious to see if it remains cheap, one of the things I notice is that sometimes off meta builds can become expensive if they sre perceived as strong enough. Usually the builds that are cheap are cheap because they are perceived as weak, or inconvenient to play, or both. I can think of a bunch of examples of classes that fall into one or the other, or even both.
It's cheaper than 50/50 hunger for sure. Rings and neck are hella expensive but since no one expects you to buy swift earrings they sell hunger Ambushmaster for example for only 2-3k gold

Ok so your plan is to make a swiftness reaper and explain to everyone watching it's a potentially cheaper and more fun way to play the reaper class. The problem you're making here is, what happens when every reaper does the same thing? The prices go up... So now you're just making a demand for swiftness gear so anyone that was using it before is gonna be paying more. Meanwhile spec items will still be expensive. I mean I guess it's good when you find a swiftness item, it's actually worth gold for a few weeks. Just glad I am not making a reaper tomorrow. Prices will be nutty.
