Tbf you only have 20 players according to Transfermarkt, which is the lowest in the league. Though, I won’t claim to be an expert on the Leeds squad depth, that would worry me if you got a couple of injuries

A few injuries isnt a problem in itself the big problem as with most clubs is if its a couple of injuries in the same position @nameanteater4772
@@nameanteater4772if you want quality in the Championship, you need to attract PL level players. They do not want to be on the bench , so you can’t keep them beyond one season. So, what do you do? Keep a small, tight squad and make sure you bring in players who can play in multiple positions. That’s the strategy. We’ll see whether it works. I’m confident. MOT.

As far as Burnley go? We got special permission to have the game played as 5 a side on Saturday seeing as that's about as many players as we have left. Parker got stitched up big time

does make me laugh, being a Leeds fan, 140mil brought in, how much is left after you finish off paying the outstanding debt of their transfers? reckon we only have max 20mil.
Well we don't have to pay it all off at once.
$73M was the number this summer and that’s paid off, we still got as many millions of transfer debt as Man City’s charges + 1 ($116M).
We have about $65M left over from this year’s sales so if we don’t go up, we’ll have to raise $50M in sales. But for now, we’re fine.

It would've done a world of good for Leeds fans to know their transfer kitty for two seasons is minus £123m (if utilising further loans etc isn't used...) instead we get uplifting news of being well inside the top20 richest clubs while watching our best players constantly sold in preparation for a harder season than last.

Becauee they got relegated?? Like we did last year ( leeds). Most of best players went out on loan brcsuee of a stupid clause put in their contracts. And we sold or released a few others. And each year in the champ, you lose more of those best players...

Leeds dont have £140m to spend and anyone who knows a little bit about football finance will appreciate that, the budget is about £20m, give or take, for 2-3 more players and they have to take salaries into consideration into that as well. A lot of the £140m is to satisfy P&S and all that jazz. Also, as we all know, deals are rarely paid for up front, they're spread out over multiple years (incomings and outgoings). Wilder should know this, its just funny to see him talk about it like we are back in the 70's where a manager would knock on a players house door and ask if they want to sign for £500 a week and a massage from sexy susan the secretary.
Hamer wont happen, Leeds seem to be quite good (which has never happened before) of keeping theirs cards close to their chest and using easy link smoke screens to get players who are affordable and actually on their list. Clarke and Hamer are easy links and not attainable.
Ao Tanaka and Isaac Schmidt to be announced today and they're taking a hard run at Roland Sallai, but that would leave us heavily stocked in the attacking areas.
