@@TuxedoBandido Requital is wrong on many levels. First and foremost, it punishes platers for doing the basic activity of the game...shooting NPCs. Second, it takes a 6 year old game and changes the core part of what made the game popular. Afterall, this is a looter SHOOTER. And third, it dramatically increases the complexity of the game to the point that there are so many things to manage that we are not able to effectively operate as a group. Just another thing that encourages people to play solo
I'm still grinding out Active Modifiers. I'll have "Prime Time" soon. Once I get "All Out" modifiers are getting turned off. Requital and Master of None are crap.
I think it's OK. A solid B from me. The gear and changes are more extensive, manhunt are basically the same with a new name, I like priority objectives, but the season level and journey are **waaay** too grindy as implemented, and especially to unlock up to rank6 to get all active modifiers. Modifiers are hit and miss, overall I don't really care for them just because range and changing range is clunky. I always used directives before and they feel like those but with no bonuses for having them on. You end up really OP but hard CC and reflect damage is just garbage. Basically agree with Tux here. Pesti is hilarious fun however, almost makes up for nerfing scorpio into irrelevance. Centurion holster is actually good and Strega is fine/decent.
Tedious. I couldn't believe when I finally figured out that I have to activate an active modifier. One of the things I've always enjoyed is the games simplicity and clean design when playing. Putting a build together is the complicated part, then you go shoot bad guys.Simple. Aim, wait for "activate modifier", push appropriate key, wait for "active modifier " to activate, then, and only then, can you kill the enemy. 200 times! Tedious!
I still dont understand why anything received a nerf. They talked about power creep, but now enemies are even more deadly with longer lasting fire and shock ammo, as well as the ability to reflect damage back towards us. Plus, some enemies take significantly less damage if not within a certain range. I know some modifiers give us more damage, but I want the power I've earned grinding all of these years, not through modifiers. The nerfing part just doesn't make much sense, especially the small hits to ceska, grupo, providence, the nerf to certain reload speeds, and to almost everything from project resolve, to name a few. Plus, the new grind is ridiculous because it's not new content I'm grinding. It's the same stuff I've been doing for years, except now I'm forced to do the missions and activities they want me to do. My friends and I grinded it out as fast as possible because it felt like a chore that we just wanted to end.
Strong agree. The few percentage point nerfs here and there are drowned out in the GINORMOUS season buffs, so not sure why they did any of that shit ultimately. Reworks to garbage things and QoL is appreciated however. New gearset and brand are just trash crapping up my drops but that's par for the past several seasons. And the journey is in fact, super grindy doing random ass things that ultimately force you to use modifiers to complete/progress.
Season 2.0 wouldn't be too bad if it was something new, but it's basically the same nonsense we've been asked to grind through previously, but now they're asking in a different way to do it again. The modifiers are also a chore too - they're not fun at all.
The thrill is gone. The thrill is gone away 🎶 Recycling seasons killed it for me. Now they throw us into this modifier deal. I'll probably just wait for the DLC and finish the story.
Season 2.0 is all about be in favor of the Devs. Mods are not about empowering the Player but to act as a speed-bump literal. Weekly Scout activities are not about more story but to increase playtime to inflate backend statistics. The whole journey activities are beyond tedious kill 666 XYZ on a bluemoon with your left hand tied behind your back after sneezing twice. I am pretty much anything but whooed.
This sums it up perfectly. The past couple of seasons didn't excite me, and I would just wait for the last target to be unlocked and then complete the entire season in one week but now I have to log in every week to do these "Scout" missions. And the new grind is insane. Cancelling Heartlands really soured my perception of Ubisoft and the game.
Love the game, but the last season was the first I hadn't finished in a couple of years. This doesn't tempt me to come back at all. I just can't work up motivation to do same event types in the same maps just to futz around with new overly complicated modifiers and grind tactics.
Me too, last season was the first one I didn’t buy. My play time in this had dropped significantly. I’ve been tempted to come back with the changes. The idea to grind the same missions though is not enticing
@@blydchyld if you want to complete the seasonal journey, you can't just make them go away. So he's right. Certain aspects of the game you're forced to do solo now
I well not us the modifiers they just not fun .. I just play this game for the story and to have fun but I'm getting bord with this game.. be playing from day one and I'm sick of playing the same mission over and over again .. The time they put in to the modifiers they could of put some new mission in the map
They need to fix the server stability issues in NY. The constant deltas are infuriating, especially when your are at the very end of a mission and BAM... delta. Time to start over and pray it stays stable long enough to finish it. Also, the special ammo modifier should NOT go through shields. That is just cheap.
I think the very best demonstration of what you are talking about can be found on floor 100 of the summit, the pre final fight. It contains a concentration of every broken mechanic, you even get a spawn of 6 elites, 4 grenades, 2 techs. all with shock ammo that can hit you behind full cover let alone when ducked. dealing with 12 airburst perfectly shot grenades every 20 seconds with a constant stream of demo uav's added to the rng shock isn't 'difficult' its just exhausting just like dealing with a 4 year old isn't difficult, its exhausting.
Finally a video that shows the truth of the effect of these modifiers. Overall, I think they suck and working through the journey is not content but just busy work. I've not found any one on youtube that really explains how bad these enemy buffs can be (stun lock until death) and the delta's for me have been ridiculous. I've not been able to get through any missions in the last several days without a disconnect since this season dropped. I've decided now to not purchase Division 3 when it comes out (and I'm one that has done all commendations and had all comms (until this season)) as I just cannot take this anymore. This game overall has been much more frustrating than fun.
I finally bit the bullet and gave the new season a try even though i said i wouldn't. I managed about a couple of hours then had to turn off. The thought of grinding even more than before on the same old content was just unbearable. The new modifiers are just awful so they got turned off. I kept getting server crashes and ended up in a queue. I couldnt find anyone at all every time i tried to matchmake. I think the only positive i found were some of the rifles being auto fire. Dont think ill be back this season unless something drastic changes so back to TFD for me. At least the devs for that game listen to the players and make positive changes.
I was not going to play either but seeing how some people got the full season track in just a few hours i decided to try it. I'm glad i did. I turned the modifiers off to start with. Finished the season in under 8hrs on heroic. Now i turn the modifiers on and off depending on the content i'm doing. I'm trying all my existing 32 different builds. Replacing piece-by-piece new items to see what works and what doesnt. I'm unsure if it is worth my time because there are a gazillion new and (many invisible) bugs ... even more then before. Then again, the devs never could count and probl never will ... they seem to have 0 idea how basic math works. Lol!
@AlfaStation1 I got to level 56 on the season pass in those 2 hours but there's just nothing in it that gives me he drive to finish it. I have 16 builds on my main character that even after the changes will not need adjusting. Luckily there had been little change to any of them that would affect their performance as they've all been tried and tested over the past 5/6 years. None of the new gear is appealing to me. The same as it has been for the past 3-4 seasons. If they had continued to bring paid content each year like they did the first 2 years I'd have happily paid for it instead of getting overpriced skins and under achieving gear and weapons. I used to absolutely love the game and would play it everyday but since the last season all love for it has gone
When they turn a game into more of chore. Absolutely dont love it at all. It's frustrating already with the amount of BS hoops we have to jump through. Ubisoft lost the definition of fun?
Listen, I love Division 2. I played the crap out of it. The only reason I still love it is because I haven't played it for over a year. When the game stared feeling unpleasant because I was doing the same thing a hundred times, I had to call it quits. None of these seasons was truly offering anything worthwhile, and the lack of narrative creativity really turned me off. Games just naturally end; recognize it and move on before you start hating what you used to enjoy.
I have enjoyed this so far. I agree that the enemy modifiers can be rough. My approach was to turn off the enemy modifiers until I hit the spot where the personal modifiers are required. In the meantime I unlocked all of the agent modifiers and then went back and turned on the enemy ones. I am having a great time overall. As usual nothing is explained enough and that alone will make people sit of the modifiers or leave the game. I am loving the changes and challenges.
I'm an odd one, I love the grind, love the map, the world always blows me away. I don't mind the changes. I've had the same build for ages, and play a minimum of 2 hours a day still. Game is definitely not perfect but I don't do pvp, and not into the competitive side of gaming. I just really love running around The Division 2's NY and Washington shooting any enemies that cross my path. I only just hit 1600 hours so I would probably have a way different opinion if I had the game time that so many others have.
delta, delta, delta is killing me more then the schock fire loophole suckers! but i am starting to see the light and have to say, i dig it. hope they fix the issues tho.
The devs hate their players. The AI always in this game is beyond awful but with constant cheats. The player cannot crouch, go prone, cannot go close, mid range, long range, is shocked, on fire, HIS ARMOR IS GONE BY SHOOTING WITH HIS GUN at enemies... like there are so many restrictions it is beyond absurd. I can tell that devs don't test these garbage ideas on heroic.
They are tired of gamers' complaints and complaining and spoilers... Every time they make a newweapon or gear youtuber already complaining like if you are going to complain about every littke thing make your own game .
@@Movearoundoutmyface That argument does not make sense. We are the customers. They are the developers. That is the basic philosophy. We as the customers have full rights to complain or not. Since they completely butchered with every update this game, why would we not complain? Remember the times where 90% of the players could not play even the game because how broken their servers are? Imagine buying a product and then not be able to play it cause they are not able to even test that thing. I wanna see how you would buy a car and then realized the breaks are broken. I guess that would not make you happy, right? Every time when they make some new gear and stuff, no one is even using it since it is not even practical. Show me how you will play with Breaking Point i am really curious how long you would keep up with the weird talents. Glass cannon is better option for rifles, than playing the new gear set.
the season get more downs than ups, specially with the change of the model of levelling that we were forced to accept instead of giving us the freedom to choose by doing something like: levelling SHD on a 3:1 ratio or speeding up by doing the seasonal activities that would give more season xp. the mods system also is really bad with the deflect dmg one being active for the whole group even if its only 1 member who has it on was a horrible idea . and apparently people finally discovered how to trigger the season xp bug every time. u need to up your SHD lvl when u complete a Priority Objective or Journey objective and the xp jump is even bigger if u up the SHD lvl and the season lvl at the same time
The season leveling WITHOUT the skips was super slow, and we really didn't get anything interesting for season level 100 other than the exotic unlocks, so I'm glad the slip bug made it irrelevant. I hope that take that feedback into account for the next season. The JOURNEY grind, OTOH is worse somehow than even that, since it's not just knocking over a bunch of CPs or PEs to gain 100 levels.
I'm not having any issues with it at all. It's not like you have to do everything in the Journeys menu, and the modifiers for enemies are a annoying at times, but you just have to figure out how to counter them. It's a nice change of pace, it's different, which is good. People would be complaining if it were the same thing all over again.
@Eagle-ci9dr what do you mean? It's still the same content. That's what people have been complaining about. Whether it is the old format or the new one, modifiers or no modifiers, you're still doing the same missions and activities. This isn't new content. Just a different way to grind the old content.
What I will say I’m new to this whole bashing games deal. Maybe I haven’t paid attention to this aspect with other games because this is the first game that grabbed me to even follow content creators for it. Maybe I started too late but I enjoy whatever they put out…maybe that just means I’m easy to please. All I know is I can’t pick up anything else.
It just means you are easy to please. Nothing wrong with that. But if you played thousands of hours and are critical, it's because you want the game to be better, and have seen all the warts many times over. Sadly, devs don't always have the resources to do what needs to be done nor the understanding/perspective that really long term players' experience gives them.
@@grumpyoldman6503 FTR I have 5800 hours played. What I meant by saying I started late is that I came in at year 3. I know most have been playing since Beta. Only other game I put those kinda hours in was Red Dead Redemption. As an artist myself, i know you people will always be critical no matter how good your work is. I just try to see the positive because I get the work that goes into creating things like this. I heard people say over the years, that the Devs don’t care but whenever they put something out, it gets picked apart sadly before it’s fully understood. I’ve seen some awesome builds handling the content with the new gear. It just takes a little thought. It’s not a mindless shooter and that’s why I think I for one can’t put it down. I can never figure out just what it is that keeps me drawn in 🤣 but I think that’s it.
It seems like a fairly simple answer to me, it’s the same game as before with more build options, more difficulty options, and more opportunities for rewards and progression. Even if you dislike the new modifiers specifically (entirely valid opinion) the rest of it is a nice addition to give us some direction and goal-chasing while we wait for the real meat of the content: Brooklyn
Let’s all just stop playing so the Devs get what they want which is to move on and in hopes to make games that you all would like. I think my love for gaming will be done once the Division is truly dead because the times I’ve tried to play other games when I couldn’t log in, i just ended up turning my system off. I don’t know what it is but nothing scratches my itch like Division 1 and 2.
Someone else commented on here also about : the time they spent dreaming up all these complicated modifiers etc, they could of just made 2 new incursions.
Not a fan of having to do specifics to gain XP over just going through earning it regularly. EDIT: And watching, it'd explain why I kept getting shocked when I had no directives on. Screw that.
@pj3461 it could have been more graceful- ease into the enemy modifiers as we unlock ours organically. Maybe that was always the intention, but isn't what we delivered. Wouldn't shock me of it was a bug given Massives generally shoddy SQA.
What bugs me the most is the constant Delta 03 Errors in NY, especially when so many journey goals are located in NY. They don't even have that in their Trello. I have the feeling they stopped caring about those disconnects a long time ago.
They made all these changes… which can be easily avoided using a determined / pistol set up lol. They also have an XP overflow bug so I finished my season journey is less that 6 hours… and I didn’t even finish the first tier of the journey things lmao.
2 changes are needed. Enemy modifiers should be optional and if they're turned on you get more xp. Second, the Journey missions need to be much less of a grind remove the requirements of using the modifiers
Instead of a small black and white head banner, why didn't the dev make the ads a different color , it's ultra hard to see when the game is in full battle Kaos wich is wich, no that would have been to rational to do , imagine this game on a small laptop pc to see the banner difference at 50 feet away running toward you wirh another wave behind you ! Now also my second point the journey mission have been tailored to only be played solo if I play with a friend doing one mission I get the credit, and he won't ,that's not community inclusive now I find myself for progressing faster putting my game in private mode more often , it's impossible to be in sync with your friend in the sense of different playing hours and disponibilities.
trying to find this stuff in the in game options/ui is a real pain in the ass. im a casual player. i just got to lvl 800 yesterday. i turned off the new season modifiers. i kept dying. the 3xp event make me want to play the game. the new mod content make me want to quit playing.
The games is fun and feels fresh theres good and bad. The modifiers are a matter of perspective if you want to shut off and play a point and hold until its dead your not gonna like modifiers as they force you out of the comfort zone of mid range safety and make you play more carefully but if you like having to think about encounters then youll enjoy modifiers (minus schock ammo thats just ridiculous)
Firstly, great to hear your voice TUX. (Not 🌈) Second I’m about a minute into this and I have to say… If you’re not running a 100% hazard protection build. Turn off the modifier, roll up your sleeves and prepare to be dragged through the grinding dirt for a very long time. Full weekend and I have 6 out of 12 passive talents and I have a new hate of the grind - I’m looking at you Summit and Descent 🤨. P.S. might comment again later
I like (used to anyway) play in the mid range but with Requital that kind of went out the window since staying mid distance just gets you killed over and over. Also, who thought making cover irrelevant in a cover/shooter game was a good idea? I'm not sure if completing all these different game tracks (with similar activities in each) without any real rewards is worth it any more. Time will tell I guess.
I'm honestly shocked they didn't give us a direct counter to Requittal like a life leech passive. You can use an active to change range conditions or build for recovery to counter the damage reflect, but ugh. Moving engagement range is largely impractical but closing is typically the easiest way to deal with it. Or you can use a skill build / determined + headhunter build and totally ignore it. IDK what they were thinking with Requittal other than a direct middle finger to meta striker RPM AR players.
Ubi is poor , probably going under. No one wants to keep doing the same thing, new weapons , new gear , more rewards for the same shit we've been playing for years. x3 xp for what? So I can spend half my playing time opening up field caches? I put 2 hours into this season and some how had my season pass maxed out...this game is bugged and dead. I really would love to see their active numbers because I can grantee no more than 50k people still play this game. Also What is the point of the modifiers? Make the game harder to play and gain absolutely nothing from them but waiting on conditional damage to active. Boring , it's like adding more doors to get to the same place.
I doubt it's any more than 10k across all platforms that still play. They could have done so much with this franchise and made a lot of money out of it but they screwed up
I looked on a website called Streamchart Saturday evening. The game was ranked at 425 with a player total of 1580. It was getting handily beaten, in both the ranking and player totals, by Supermarket Simulator and Power Washer Simulator. I don't think this is what Ubisoft had planned for the weekend after their Y6S2.0 big release.
@r0botnix499 I checked out SteamCharts (An ongoing analysis of Steams concurrent players) on Saturday evening. The Division 2 was ranked 425 with 1580 total players. It was getting beaten by Supermarket Simulator and Power Washer Simulator. Although this is just one resource it is an indicator as to how badly it is performing especially when you consider that Y6S2.0 was just released. A lot of players just aren't loving it.
Yeah at this point im thinking we should’ve let them bring the seasonal characters instead… they made things way more complicated than it has to be when it comes to the combat…
I'ma say it now I'm a long time division 2 player and I will say this the first descendent is better then division 2 right now all of my grinding time went to that game
I'm telling ya man, run a headhunter build with 100% haz pro and those modifiers will basically disappear. It's pretty easy to hit 100% has pro now as well, definitely not as much of a "power nerf" as a couple seasons ago.
NBB and brand buffs make it pretty trivial to hit 100% hazpro, actually. But just like the backfire, now you are gimped for the sake of some arbitrary game condition, which also kinda sucks in a different way. My normal determined headhunter sniper build I've been using with 5 directives for like 3 seasons now already ignores the modifiers and is even stronger due to passives, so... ya.
Another small thing - we should be able to activate the active modifier without having an enemy down site . They are forcing us to play the game THE way THEY want us to play it .
The modifiers make the game feel like more than just a cover to cover gallery shooter. I personally am enjoying it, but some of the modifiers could definitely be implemented better, I've accepted that I now have to use my brain more during combat. Does it put you in some awkward positions when some guy from out of the way spam shocks you? Absolutely. But, at least in my experience, it hasn't been that bad. Once they straighten things out, and fix some implementations, it'll be a lot better.
Question: Before season 2.0, every manhunt was locked to only 1 main character. (example: if you wanted the extra skill at the end, you needed to complete the entire manhunt with your other characters also) Now it seems the Scout trajectory is linked to your entire account. Is this correct and what do you think about this change?
My two main weapons that I used for years (as well as a particular gear set) were nerfed and I lost any desire to play the game. The devs just couldn't leave well enough alone and I'm VERY tired of nerfs in this game. This game is extremely long in the tooth and nerfs shouldn't even be in the devs repertoire anymore. P.S. - I was able to put enough points into level 25 expertise in one of the aforementioned guns and guess what? The gun was nerfed and I lost over 7,000 damage - what a waste of resources. Thanks Massive!
I mean when ppl gonna understand that massive doesnt give a shit ? 😂. No build in the world is truly powerful. Idgf if its striker. Hf. Etc. Everything is more powerful than the player, npcs get unlimited no cooldown ammo and skills Meannnwhile we have to spec heavily into certain things while taking away from others in builds and cant spam shit cuz then it will be “unbalanced, meta, “ and all the goofy reasons they nerf shit for
Was ok to do the new season pass journey, i imagine that is fantastic content for newer players. But after 4000 hours it's gonna take more than that to keep my attention. As soon as I hit level 100 and tried the Strega out I uninstalled again.
Already finished the Journey missions.... After 4k+ hours on this game.... I now play once a week on Challenging w/ modifiers off... And try not to spend Exotic components on nothing, cuz they're going to get nerfed!
Lol, I can't share the same sentiment. Run a hazard build. Some people want to play with the same old meta. Nice take, though. I think they are trying to get players to be more dynamic.
I made it to level 40 two days before the season systems changed, I thought to myself ok now I just need to get good. The next time I got on I was suddenly worse. Not a very conducive system to new players, especially when everything tells you to farm the gear you need with as many modifiers as possible. I do not care for it at this point in my game play. It may have been meant to appeal to returning players, it is not attractive to new players in my opinion. I am still very new, I'm sure my opinion is skewed due to that.
I can recommend The first Descendant. Didn't think any game could keep my attention like the division but that game has. Lots of grinding for the perfect gear like the division but there's so much more variety. If you get bored of a certain play style with one character then grind for a new one who has a whole new play style and different talents. Also, so far, the Devs listen to the players and make adjustments that improve it or make it easier. Plus Tux has some fantastic videos for tips and builds that have helped me.
Granted, new mechanics does take a toll as players do need to adjust. However, how can a player be confident of the content if we are unable to identify which is a bug and isn't anymore? Personally, I am seeing is Grind & Grind+ and Nerf & Nerf+ (mostly) or players while Buff & Buff+ for NPCS.
Glitch after you complete the journey with 6 done and moved forward go back and finish the journey keeps saying you have rewards but does not let you collect rewards
@gamerreview635 yes I know what your saying but keeps telling me at bottom of screen have rewards to claim in journey but not claiming or going away . Pretty sure already claimed but notice won't go away . This is the glitch talking about
Deactivated at round 4, total nightmare , a game is suppose to be fun , been playing Division 2 too long , playing Black Ops 6 campaign was a breath of fresh air
Not a big fan of the modifiers. They could have refined it more and released in another update. The 3x and 5x events should have lasted longer - 2 weeks at the least. Devs need to realize that not everyone has alot of time to get 1000 shade levels in the time they set for multiple reasons, one of which is the day job. They could also fix the backup call shepherding system. Thats one big reason i got into div 2.
After watching your video and I can’t but feel the Devs are trying to make Division 2 be more like Diablo IV. I don’t care for how Diablo IV is and now I feel Division 2 isn’t the same now and I’m not having fun. My friends have stopped playing so I’m now all alone in this game and having even less fun. If this is the future of The Division - I don’t know if I will continue playing. Thank god I didn’t waste money on Preminum +
Yeah, I turned off the option for enemies to get special ammo when I play using my Hardcore mode agent. My regular agent, no big deal. But no way Jose for Hardcore mode at all.
Have the Dev's said with the change to the friend referral system that they plan to unlock 'The Stinger' LMG for all the other players in the game so they can level up their expertise system for that gun????
Once I got the passive modifiers there was certainly a lot less frustration, except Requital can drive me to distraction sometimes. My brain fails to store information about the active modifiers. So, when it flashes up with press T to activate it I spend seconds trying to remember what it would do and then another second finding the ruddy T key 🙂 Invariably I end up not activating it. Priority objectives RNG knows I don't like Descent too. So far it's only been completing a single loop which is easy enough even when I stick to the pistol, skipping at every choice for the credits instead. Are regular Countdown players finding matchmaking for it now brings problems with players leaving once their objective is done or calling for extraction immediately if they do stay the course? Quite a few times in the past week extraction called far too soon. I can only assume it's someone's first time and are simply following the prompt to call it in.
So as a Div 2 die hard I would respond saying yeas and no. I have been online since Div 1 and have pretty much played division only since it's release. I spent years in PVE chasing everything then for the last 3 years have moved into pvp which can be so much fun but has its moments. The new season is quite an interesting spin and really only adds an element of something to do right now until we fully grasp the concept of all the modifiers etc and how we can best utilize them in different scenarios. Hopefully we are able to use some of these in pvp aspve is literally dead. I sometimes feel quite betrayed by the devs at there flagrant abuse by exploiting those of us and there are many, exploiting our dedication to the game that we will absorb anything new just to keep our addiction fed to what is truly a one in a million game and an incredible immersion into a very unique world . To allow us so much control over our characters and what they are able to do. To spend hours putting these build puzzles together and testing in the hope we will be able to test these works of pure genius on some new content. And then we get a brief drawn out season with absolutely no new content. Just basic projects in the same world we have had for the past few years. Running mission over and over hundreds of times gets tedious. Yes a new build or gear piece excites us for 1 or 2 runs but then it just becomes repetitive again. Is it worth it. Yes and no. Will I keep playing? Yes I will. Will I keep complaining ? Probably Yes. 😂😂😂😂all we can do is keep feeding the addiction and hope someone listens.
My main concern is that the Master difficulty final mission will not be solo friendly if they're going to implement raid/incursion type mechanics. And what about players who don't even play Heroic content? Are they going to grind the Scouts for 14 weeks only to find that they've been denied closure on the seasonal story arc unless they play this Master difficulty mission?? The Journey already pushes aside players who have life commitments such as work, college/school and family with some of those insane challenges, so what is the season finale mission going to offer them? And yeah, fuck the dumbass shock rounds from long range enemies. They clearly didn't playtest it or they expect us to run hazpro builds. Getting stunlocked by an enemy that hasn't even got the icon is infuriating.
The devs have never listened to this community, not a single person asked for nerfs, these modifiers, or the issues that came with this season. It is absolutely atrocious, all that needed done was balances in PVP and PvEvP, leave PVE things alone. There's not a single thing that makes me want to come back an play this game at all unfortunately.
Yep….. F**k modifiers. I’m with you on my love for this franchise. But….. this alone is making me take a break after years of playing until the Devs get their s*it together.
All this season seems to be is artificially inflating weekly/monthly player numbers by keeping them in game much longer to complete season. What's next? Kill 1000 hunters while not wearing any armour and using only a pistol with no mods.
I try modifiers and no thanks, and since they force you to use them in the journey and the others, I'll probably won't finish the season and don't really care . At the moment I'm just trying few new builds with the new exotics and some new changes to the gear/weapons. I played for a very long time. I'm almost 24k shd and I won't be forced to do anything, especially if the rewards It's not worth it at all. Plus I can see already the manipulate the NPCs again because they heating so hard that my usual builds never melt so fast without modifiers. I'm really sick of the s*** stealth buffing npcs. They're so precise. No one misses a shot and they have all advantages still not enough. I love that game. That's why I still playing but I'm playing mostly solo now, and nothing I mean nothing will force me to do stuff i dont enjoy.
I disagree, I think Ubisoft has made a step in the right direction with season 2.0. Weapon buffs, modifiers, gear balancing, season pass rework. I've been spending more time actually playing than the past seasons.
Seasons were crap since the very first, simply reward incentives to repeat what we already repeated during campaign, control points, bounties …. Manhunts and Scouts are the same thing as the weekly projects, simply different name and a list of activities to tick off. The same with the Journeys, a list of old activities to tick off in a technical way, like a weekly project, with a different menu format. Modifiers … well, there were people asking for adding Summit directives and Summit challenges to the main game. It’s basically that. That’s something for the people who enjoy bullet sponge, super bullet sponge and technical gameplay as in incursions and legendary. It’s optional therefore I don’t care. For me it’s the opposite of that what I want: the gameplay as shown in The Division E3 trailer. If they continue with what they are doing post WoNY, the Division 3 sales will be even below D2 sales.
what are your thoughts on the modifiers now that they have been out a few days?
@@TuxedoBandido Requital is wrong on many levels. First and foremost, it punishes platers for doing the basic activity of the game...shooting NPCs. Second, it takes a 6 year old game and changes the core part of what made the game popular. Afterall, this is a looter SHOOTER. And third, it dramatically increases the complexity of the game to the point that there are so many things to manage that we are not able to effectively operate as a group. Just another thing that encourages people to play solo
5 yr old game...not 6😊@@TheBigBlueMarble
If you thought the Sniper dogs were bad before, they are completely OP now. Even with 1.6M armor you get 2-shot. No fun!!!
200 times! Tedious!
No cool down indicator for them sucks too.
I spent most of my time on fire, shocked or destroying my own armour
Yep, same here. The grind for these Journey Objectives are just so damn tedious too.
Yeah that destroying my own armor had me 🤬
I didn’t realise why I was being humiliated so easily by the cpu enemies, almost to the point of getting one shotted…
I was wondering what that was. Thought it was a glitch or something.
And you can't turn it off if a random player join
The fact that some NPCs have a modifier but don't show the icon is my final sign to put the game down
I still dont understand why anything received a nerf.
The brainless dev talking about Power Creep when they were the ones who implemented the Expertise system
If you love a Delta 3 every 2-5 minutes its the game to go for you 👍
Season 2.0 wouldn't be too bad if it was something new, but it's basically the same nonsense we've been asked to grind through previously, but now they're asking in a different way to do it again. The modifiers are also a chore too - they're not fun at all.
The thrill is gone. The thrill is gone away 🎶 Recycling seasons killed it for me. Now they throw us into this modifier deal. I'll probably just wait for the DLC and finish the story.
What a roller coaster. Im done.
Same here, I'm out
14:08 It‘s glacial, I hate it. I can’t justify the time to grind it out, so no more money from me.
Division 2 is now a solo game. Playing as a group is impossible, while trying to get these kills
If only you could press a button and make them go away. Oh well.
Ive been bored of The division I just enjoy the story and the gameplay but facts 😂.
Deltas are wild. I never had more than one a month before but had 10 in an hour after this update.
Agreed. I've Delta'd more this past week than I have the past two years of playing.
Watching this...I won't be back anytime soon
When they turn a game into more of chore. Absolutely dont love it at all. It's frustrating already with the amount of BS hoops we have to jump through.
Ubisoft lost the definition of fun?
Requital must go away.
Same. I've been loving it so far. Brings a whole new challenge.
I've played the same way you have with my Uncle for the past 2 years and I love it! I really like how immersive the game world feels!
Lets make a game where you shoot enemies and it damages yourself..brilliant😊😊
the day the update dropped..i uninstalled, and never looked back.
Damn😂😂😂😂😂
delta, delta, delta is killing me more then the schock fire loophole suckers! but i am starting to see the light and have to say, i dig it. hope they fix the issues tho.
Legendary is even worse.
Skill proxies get modifiers. Stellite or reflect explosive drone spam is oh so much fun!
@@grumpyoldman6503 Imagine playing a racing game and when you are winning, your tires will bursts. Lmao that is division right now.
Brainless dev that talk about power creep and wad their idea of Expertise, top of on dev stream playing on Challenging 0 directives
Why do the devs at Ubisoft hate us? What did we do wrong?
their feelings were hurt about the "characters" so they decided to say FU to us
We spent lots of time and money playing their games.
Glass cannon is better option for rifles, than playing the new gear set.
the season get more downs than ups, specially with the change of the model of levelling that we were forced to accept instead of giving us the freedom to choose by doing something like: levelling SHD on a 3:1 ratio or speeding up by doing the seasonal activities that would give more season xp. the mods system also is really bad with the deflect dmg one being active for the whole group even if its only 1 member who has it on was a horrible idea
.
and apparently people finally discovered how to trigger the season xp bug every time. u need to up your SHD lvl when u complete a Priority Objective or Journey objective and the xp jump is even bigger if u up the SHD lvl and the season lvl at the same time
The season leveling WITHOUT the skips was super slow, and we really didn't get anything interesting for season level 100 other than the exotic unlocks, so I'm glad the slip bug made it irrelevant.
@@Scrub_Nation So you just agreed it is different.
Thx for the info Tux!
Someone else commented on here also about : the time they spent dreaming up all these complicated modifiers etc, they could of just made 2 new incursions.
It’s not wanted or worth it. It’s why they’ve lost 1/2 their active player base since it’s launched.
Not a fan of having to do specifics to gain XP over just going through earning it regularly.
EDIT: And watching, it'd explain why I kept getting shocked when I had no directives on. Screw that.
I'd like to play but I've given up against constant server disconnects.
I could be all the way wrong - I remember one interview where yannick said the enemy modifiers were going to be progressive as well .
It does suck that you get hit with both barrels on enemy directives before you even unlock your first active or potentially any passives.
@@grumpyoldman6503 don’t get me wrong . I’m still enjoying . But it does suck .
I definitely noticed this too, and especially NY map.
Xbox FWIW.
This review was spot on! Thank u
They made all these changes… which can be easily avoided using a determined / pistol set up lol.
They also have an XP overflow bug so I finished my season journey is less that 6 hours… and I didn’t even finish the first tier of the journey things lmao.
You don't kill yourself with just a One-shot determine build? With that thing that reflects the damage back to you
@ not at all, for whatever reason it skips it entirely since e the enemy dies instantly
Not a fan of the modifiers a lot of people that I know deleted the game
I’m so glad I finished everything up now. I’m just taking advantage of the triple XP.
I like full auto rifles ....

Long overdue QoL.

Bruh opening field caches is ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!😂🤦🏾♂️
@@Chief_Sosa1017yes it is. Still no mass open option after all these years.

@r0botnix499
I checked out SteamCharts (An ongoing analysis of Steams concurrent players) on Saturday evening.
Ooof, glad I uninstalled.
My normal determined headhunter sniper build I've been using with 5 directives for like 3 seasons now already ignores the modifiers and is even stronger due to passives, so... ya.
@@grumpyoldman6503 Well sure. ...but just saying for us minor league players, a little extra padding can make a feasible alternative. ;D
Haha so there’s already a meta that trivialises all the stupid nerfs and modifiers. 😂
I’m laughing from Helldivers 2, where the Devs listened
@aaronsinspirationdaily4896 eventually they did, but not after nuking their own playerbase in a similar gunshot wound to the foot.
@@grumpyoldman650345,000 concurrent active players.
Div 2 dreams of these numbers
My honest answer is no for vets and absolutely for newer players they simply don't add content to make a vet wanna stick around
Totally disagree I hate the Modifiers they are so bloody annoying
Thanks for the update im off to TFD
A lot of us who work for a living, do not have time to grind on these modifiers and do expertise, its just too much.
Not fun.
I mean when ppl gonna understand that massive doesnt give a shit ? 😂. No build in the world is truly powerful. Idgf if its striker. Hf. Etc. Everything is more powerful than the player, npcs get unlimited no cooldown ammo and skills Meannnwhile we have to spec heavily into certain things while taking away from others in builds and cant spam shit cuz then it will be “unbalanced, meta, “ and all the goofy reasons they nerf shit for
Really not interested in them, did the season track, got the Strega and unfortunately switched off.
Still doesn't counter requittal but "play how the devs want you to" isn't a great argument nor recipe for "fun" in this or any game.
Tux, what should we play instead
Im also playing The First Descendant, but their is also Helldivers2 Stalker2, MonsterHunter, SpaceMarines2 all good games.
I definitely recommend monster hunter world if you haven’t already played it.
"...community favorites got targeted nerfs. For many who held out through the seasonal character debacle, this was the final straw."
In addition automatic rifles was a mistake (the blind fire feature is running)
Granted, new mechanics does take a toll as players do need to adjust. However, how can a player be confident of the content if we are unable to identify which is a bug and isn't anymore? Personally, I am seeing is Grind & Grind+ and Nerf & Nerf+ (mostly) or players while Buff & Buff+ for NPCS.
Glitch after you complete the journey with 6 done and moved forward go back and finish the journey keeps saying you have rewards but does not let you collect rewards
You claim rewards to open up the next journey so as example u do 6 in journey 4 claim rewards the rewards opens journey 5
No wonder Ubisoft is dying. Making things complicate and NOT FUN. May Unisoft RIP.
Global Modifiers should only be for Div Agents to USE not needed to be added for NPC’s
Use the technician put down its hive then the Shock ammo isn't a threat anmore.
Is there a pestilence bug? Not seeing ticks as often as I think I should.
Same but more difficult grind with the modifiers and different UI. Lame update, there's nothing promising here.
Not the division anymore, not the game I paid to play anymore, no thanks
All this season seems to be is artificially inflating weekly/monthly player numbers by keeping them in game much longer to complete season.
What's next? Kill 1000 hunters while not wearing any armour and using only a pistol with no mods.
There’s no new content. Stop calling it that.
It's just Seasons: Chopped & Screwed edition
Devs are clowning us
Even mocking us w the costume
just finished the journey's fooking mission lol
Season Pass owners also get exclusive daily projects now.
That's been there forever.
@grumpyoldman6503 never got it before.. idk 🤷♂️
