Brother, you have one of my favorite dance channels, keep up the good work! Love your rumba content and I’ve been doing lots of the drills you’ve shared so thank you so much for that. Odd question, what kind of jeans are those? I like they are plain and stretchy…
the upper mouvement is more difficult to get/maintain at this speed. Gets worse when added to the knees movement. I guess it will need a lot of repetition to feel it and hopefully doing it unconsciously. Also, I do feel it more natural to “crunch”the torso rather than opening it while going down with the knees (probably does not help at all). Thanks for the introduction into afro cuban.
@mept9338 yea the double muelleo w the torso is something people usually add later. For an intro to afro... Eleggua is usually the go-to. If you check out some of the videos on the channel, let me know how you find it 🙌 ...and yes, it's alllllll repetition.
@ I will check that then ! And I can understand that it is added later ahah. This process remembers me about the bounce in lindy hop. Took me 3 years of casual practice to begin to feel it.
Came across this 💎 JEWEL💎 in my feed. Thank You, I am going thru some difficult struggles right now. But, learning Oggun reminded me what my purpose and where my energy lies. The drumming is very healing!🕊💎🕊💎🕊💎
