Buy the Sonos Move 2:
If you want better sound. It has a larger mid-woofer, 2 tweeters instead of 1, more power and provides much fuller sound.
Want more battery life...it is rated at 24 hours instead of 10 hours (all of these battery life numbers are inflated as they are based on lower volumes and optimal conditions)
Buy the Sonos Roam 2:
If you want a truly portable solution. The Roam 2 weighs less than a pound where the Move 2 is over 6 pounds.
Some cool uses for the Roam 2 are:
Attach to your mountain bike frame for tunes on the trails
Take out on boat fishing or surfing
Attach to window frame on golf cart
Easily take to field for workouts
The Move 2 works best where you want great sound and it is easy to move from one location to another. An example of this would be taking it from the Kitchen to an Outdoor area.

I bought two on Tuesday, everything was great when in WiFi but when you head to the beach you will find you can only play one speaker with bluetooth. How is it that a $99 JBL flip 6 can pair two speakers in stereo in bluetooth and not Sonos?? They could have been great, now they are Best Buy open box for someone else.
Maybe they need to hire JBL engineers? You can play Bluetooth audio from your phone to a stereo pair when connected to WiFi. Unfortunately as you've found out, you can't use a stereo pair when you aren't on WiFi.
