To me the biggest differentiating point is the ability to be connected to Bluetooth while in WiFi mode. This make it super easy to connect it to a laptop for instance as an audio output while staying connected to the Sonos ecosystem, something that the Move 1 can’t do
Great video, thanks. I got a mint condition move one yesterday for a good price. Very impressed with the sound quality, Sonos is a great brand. It's so nice to have a portable Sonos without any wires.
I can't decide between the Max and the Sonos Move 2, could you please help? I have the Soundlink Flex and i love it, so my gut is telling me to go for the Max, but the Move 2 apparently has better quality sound based on the reviews that i've watched, so i'm kinda struggling. To be clear, i only care about sound quality, everything else doesn't really matter. Is that really true that the Move 2 sounds better and which one should i go for? I would really appreciate if you guided me towards a decision, thanks!
I got the Move and it sounds good but I'm a sound guy so I'm thinking of giving mum my Move and buying the olive Move 2. Did it def sound a liot better?
I have the move 1 but I'm a sound guy so I ordered the move 2 cause it's on sale. Being it has a better stereo sound I'm interested in seeing. I hope when I get it it really sounds a lot better. I'm gonna give my move 1 to mom
wait, did you say the move 2 can take a input source via 3.5mm or Bluetooth and project that to all sonos speakers on the wifi? I asked the bestbuy guy that question and because he said yes, I got the move 1. I was lied to and it pissed me off. I would not have purchased sonos knowing what I know now way back when. if the move two can take a Bluetooth source and project it to all sonos on the wifi, I'll buy the two.
New generations make their predecessors' suddenly affordable - the only win for the consumer. Key point - value for money. The Q - top dollar for entry to get a move 2, V an entry at a bargain to get a move 1. * Move 1 was THE flagship literally yesterday, don't forget that!! Thanks Move 2 because now I picked up the 1 for half price, no brainer.
I respectfully disagree… Though, of course, it’s not like being there… But I could definitely hear a difference, and as a newcomer to the move, I would definitely choose the move 2 over the old one just because I could tell it had better sound, valuable information that I gained from listening to this video. It’s kind of like using calipers to get close to a measurement… But for a true machinist, you would use a finer measuring instrument it’s not perfect, but you can tell. Personally, I gained intrinsic value from the comparison in this video.
I heard move 2. It s sounds like a maximum 100$ speaker. Compared to HK go 3 it a shame. HK go 3 its wonderful, powerful bass and complete sound. This is a joke at 449$. Another better choice is two Onyx 8 paired in stereo at the same money.
Sometimes a ford is faster than a porche. You also buy the brand. It’s like apple. 50% of the value is design and brand and what the products says about you

What did you pick it up for? I got one yday for $249 plus taxes from Costco
Bought 2 weeks ago a Move 1 for 269€. Like it a lot (and not only for the price tag).
Does the Move 2 get any louder than the Move 1?

I honestly think your money is better spent getting a second Move 1 on sale for 300ish new or 250 used and getting a true stereo pair

my move 1 was an alarm clock, my wife now uses it as her alarm clock. I think a move 1 is overkill as an alarm clock.

Gonna have to update us on the difference in sound performance!
Is it safe to just keep both the Move and Move 2 on it's charging base for weeks without ruining the battery
Totally fine - it will stop charging after reaching full charge.
For me Google assistant is very important.
So I will buy the first Sonos move.
Same
Which is louder at max volume?

Yes the Move 2 and Sonos Roam can do that.
what`s the power out put ?? 50W or more ??
45rms watts but sounds much more powerful without much THD%
Move 1 is heavily discounted in Canada right now
Move 1 is 375cdn right now while the move 2 is 560 cdn
How do the Sonos compare with the Audiopro C5/C10 Mkii?
How good is the bass? Does it go very low?
No
it sounds like the highs are crisper on the move 2 compared to Gen 1
Sir Sonos Era 100 Denon 150 Compare Plz Reply 🙏🏻😊
Move 2 definitely

Just bought the move 1 on a Black Friday deal for just over £230
Absolutely pointless to play sound samples in your videos.
