Legacy Tarn was what made me like Transformers again. I was stuck playing video games because I was an addict, but then I watched Cyberverse season 4 and saw Tarn. I was like, “What a cool bot. I may hate cyberverse toys, but if they make a Tarn figure, I’ll buy it.” Then I saw Legacy Tarn renders and bought it. I forgot it for a few months, but then it arrived and I LOVED the figure. So if not for him, I wouldn’t be talking to you right now.
It’s amazing what toys act like gateways for us. I could tell you that I almost gave up on Transformers all together a few years ago just because of how much of my life was filled with it.
Looking forward to the reissue of the Legacy figure! The 4-pack version doesn't quite do it for me, so I'm happy to see his figure get a second chance.
I like how transformers fans all have agreed tarn is canon to every universe he is just in the background doing random stuff and being megatron's most loyal servant after soundwave and shockwave

Tarn is that figure that is after my time. I was collecting / reading the Dream Wave series when that was going, but was in the military at the time and collecting was hard enough. Then that company went belly up and I fell out of touch of Transformers for a long time. So Tarns creation and time in the sun was something that I missed on and thus never actually grew an affinity for.
That’s how I was with RID 2015, just missing that entire run and it’s toyline. Honestly, I love stuff like that. To me, it means you always get have an undiscovered country inside of Transformers, like a place where you can always just be surprised or taken aback!

Great question! It’s case-by-case, really. For instance, I would add Tankor to an Octane video since they shared the name and neither has many toys. Someone asked me to look at the Beast Wars Insecticons- which is a team of like 10 guys that only have one figure each-, so I’d make their video together. I’ve already made a video with Ransack and Crumplezone together. Basically, if the characters only have a few toys but are unified in some way, I’ll combine them. That said, I wouldn’t do a video about all the Stunticons at once since all of them have so many figures. For the guys you mentioned, I would probably combine Impactor and Guzzle to just do a Wrecker video, and Spinister would be rolled into a Scavengers video. As for Needlenose, he’ll get his own video since I’ve had someone asking specifically for him for a long time. Like I said, case by case.

Tarn is such a cool looking character. I dont know much about Tarn because I didn't read the IDW comics because i dont like reading books but i hope they put him in more shows. I didn't get the Tarn Legacy figure because he got scalped a lot but at least I managed to get the Bludgeon version and it's fantastic figure. I did see that Cliffjumper 4 pack at Target but I wasn't interested in Tarantulas or the other Decepticon so I didn't bother.

Funnily enough, I think Blokees did ROSB figures as their first Transformer toys. They’ve moved into G1 since then, but were mostly only doing cartoon designs until they got to Tarn and Nemesis.
Tarn is truly a character that I very like, the design is really badass. I only have the Legacy and I'm perfectly happy with it, I don't want to track down another one lol

You could make the argument he’s the most famous Transformers to never make it into one of the movies. Who else would ever be around that level? Cyclonus and Windblade, maybe? Rattrap and Dinobot for BW fans?
Can't really comment on other Tarns when the only I ever had was the legacy voyager. But tbh he's so good I don't feel the need to dip into 3rd party or premium lines like Flame toys

MM Tarn is a great figure. The transformation is nice and he has great posability. I picked up the entire DJD by MM. Voss is REALLY brittle though.
So I’ve heard. Unfortunately, Vos is just so thin.
