I live in the Philippines and going to Batad is always my dream destination. Thanks for making this vlog. I'm inspired! Keep exploring the wonders of our country! :)
Love Batad. I remember going there back in the 80's when the only way in and out of the village was through a narrow path and a 3 hour hike up and down the mountain. But all worth it. Staying there for almost a week, one with nature and the magnificent view of the terraces.
You were lucky the terraces were planted. Other tourist end up with brown and even dried terraces. The best time is when the harvest is near, you can watch the plants sway with the wind.
@ForceOfWizardry there are two harvests a year at Batad so if you want to see them at their greenest go just before harvest times which would be April and May or Oct and Nov since havest times are June and December
The grandeur of the Batad rice terraces is so impressive....those thick stone walls that blanketed each side of the rice terraces is truly a remarkable achievement and a testament of the ancient ifugao's advance agricultural engineering and stone walled terracing technique....
Proud of you two venturing into one of a million beautiful villages in the Philippines. The rice terraces are breathtaking. The villagers are friendly and so accommodating.
Seriously loving all these vids man haha Your editing has come a long way but sometimes its actually nice to see more raw (amateur) footage too lol Amazing place... definitely on my list
Na missed ko sobra eto especially ang batad nilakad namin mula banaue at umuwi kami na inanud ng ilog ang kabila kung sapatos at bumalik sa banaue na naka paa we back 1996 hindi pa cemento ang kalsada nun.

Art Lim the waterfall was closed because they were building a road; and then, do you mean the hanging coffins of Sagada? Because that video is coming up
Why title it "lost village' though? It's never been "lost" at all. It's been there forever. Thanks for all the effort but someone should let you know that you butchered the meaning of the word 'lost"
