Thank you for these videos. I am contemplating buying the game, and these are very useful in helping me decide whether to lay out a large amount of cash on a game I haven't played yet.
These videos are some of the best board game tutorials I've seen! Clear, concise and a joy to watch. I see a lot of the characters start with the same armor. Will the game have a lot of different types of armor to eventually unlock and use, making each hero unique in every aspect? I know there's quite a bit of weapon vatiety.
Judging from the kickstarter page, there are more than 300 item cards altogether, so I'm guessing there'll be no shortage of interesting armor in there. I look forward to gradually discovering them!
This tutorial is practically the best one I have seen. hope there are more to come, maybe Middara, Gloomhaven, Darkest Dungeon, Magic Knight, and many other big-box-hyped-complex games? those will be hot stuff since many of us want to play them but we are more visual learners coming from video games! - Either way, amazing job, Cheers!
Thanks for that! I haven't decided what to do next, but I do love those big campaign games. And as you say, TH-cam videos are a great way of getting a fresh perspective on the rules - no matter how good the rulebook.

Haha - good luck! It can be a tough sell, to a casual gamer. Just don't tell her how many chapters there are! :-) And the (light) companion characters make the game more accessible, without sacrificing the fun.
I'm sorry you felt that there were spoilers. I made a big effort to make the videos as spoiler-free as possible (because I hate spoilers myself). Though I suspect that this may be a misunderstanding, since the Grove Maiden, and supporting minis and rules, are not hidden or secret. Shadowborne has even included a printed list of non-spoiler components (for when you open the box) and all 12 playable characters - including the Grove Maiden - are public knowledge. She's also discussed in both rulebooks.
The quality of these videos is insane. You did a phenomenal job on these.

All the 3D was done in Blender.
I have 2 1-handed weapon. One with 2 might cube, and one with 3 might cube. Do have 5 might or is 4 the max?
