It was great to see it in person at Campervan Campout festival! I loved it and would absolutely love one for myself if it was just me and the pup traveling. Gorgeous colours and finish. 😊
It’s looking very smart & to fit all that in a small space. Knights deserve a well done for taking the time & effort to design it all though not many places would take the time to video it all. Hopefully it brings them more business from this van. Can’t wait to see Buzz in action when completed 👍🏻
Hi Steve & Lyndsey Just wanted to say a big Thank you for your message yesterday which my son-in-law (Mark) got you to send over. Yes, huge fans of your channel and was only watching the ID Buzz renovation a couple hours earlier yesterday before you sent over the message. Keep on entertaining !! Thanks Patrick & Lynda
Looks good, also think about a tent like extension clipping onto top of extended roof along the back going down outside open back doors. So if you really have bad weather it gives you a little more room at back. Can be made of the clear stuff between doors for light & full length zipper one side.
Now I’m a larger person I would find your Buzz claustrophobic for two people think it’s just not practical the guys are making a superb job however but practically it’s a non starter
Yea I think it’s brilliant tbf, really nice ideas put together and awesome craftsmen working onit tbf I have converted my 2009 t5 and know how difficult getting a decent finish is and these guys are incredible, every detail covered, and good on you for converting this van, really looks the part
Not yet, but I’m looking forward to putting it through its paces and trying that out this winter in a series of videos on my Steve Radford channel so make sure you’re subscribed to see how I get on youtube.com/@steveradford
I love it, it looks stunning. Can I be cheeky and ask roughly what it would be to buy the buzz and have it converted to such a high standard. I think they’ll be a lot of interest after seeing this x
Any reason you didn’t just buy the MpV version considering all the extra you’ve had to spend fitting parts from it, plus they have a bit better spec and extra sound deadening already fitted.
We would have had to spend a lot more money to just rip everything out and strip it back to throw it all away. What a waste that would have been. This has been custom built from the ground up as a proper micro camper, just as we wanted it.
Another ‘interesting’ video Have you been in contact with anyone else who have an IDBUZZ around Europe and UK who have already made changes to accommodate a ‘small’ living space I’ve not seen an id buzz where I live which is NE Birmingham It’s looks so tight talking mm’s It looks so small?? ❤️❤️🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🏴🏴🏴🏴👍 👍
14:26 Gah! People who use 'Amp' when they mean 'Amp-hour' just wind me up the wrong way. It's not the same thing, and really very confusing in this sort of discussion. Use the right bloody units - you clearly do know the actual difference! Very nice bit of engineering overall though.
@@RoamingRadfords Not you: John. He's doing this for a living and explaining it to people, and not distinguishing between Amps and Amp-hours just makes for very confusing explanations, as in the example here. A lot of people are confused about this, not helped by all the people making videos that just add to the confusion. No-one goes round pretending that speed and distance are the same thing. They don't say 'we crashed at 30km' when they mean '30km an hour'. Misusing Amps and Amp-hours or Watts and Watt-hours is just as dumb. It's not an abbreviation - it's just the wrong unit.
It's all about people's own taste .but after seeing what you have been driving for years you're going to struggle I mean said it before if you don't have space it's not enjoyable in fact you probably after 2 months be thinking of selling it . But like I said it's all about our own taste it's not for everyone
David you’ve clearly missed the previous videos about our Buzz where we’ve explained that this isn’t to replace our family motorhome, but it’s simply a second car and occasional campervan for us to use.
This is like a spare bedroom for the radfords when on the road David jeez have you not been paying attention to all the wonderful videos we get to watch 🤯
I think the idea is there, but practically no. The vehicle is just too small. It seems like you are in too far and are going to fit this square peg in a round hole no matter what. It does look amazing though. Ok for an overnighter, as long as your not travelling too far. Not being negative just realistic.
@@RoamingRadfords Of course, and I appreciate the reasons, but for the average people its a very expensive day van conversion, but does make good content. The guys at knights are second to none, and brilliant advertising for their professionalism.
Wow I like what knights have done and how you explain it all. The buzz is looking amazing.
Be interesting to see it on a weighbridge with you Lindsay plus things in the cupboards etc.tv,chairs possibly
Weighbridge is coming on Wednesday x
The fit and finish is superb and you can see just how proud Jonathan is of the work they have done and what they have achieved 👍🏻👍🏻
It’s lovely isn’t it!

Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome! Well done Knights. ❤
They did a great job x

STUNNING! Brilliant design and hard work by real craftsmanship! I want one EXACTLY the same!
I’m sure Jonathan at Knights would be very happy to talk to you about that!

My daughter got one done but struggling to get insurance for it ?
Love what they have done for you on the conversion but the mint and pistachio clash. You may have been right about the white Steve
Really, you are the only person that has said anything negative about the colour 🤷🏼♀️ We love it 😊
It's a van!
It is.
good vid nice van build
Thanks Lee x

@@RoamingRadfords perfect! I may well be interested in one myself x
Is the longer length Buzz available in UK yet. ? We’re supposed to get that version in the U.S . this summer.

Looks so so cool! Hey, can you recommend a Victron specialist in the South (ish) please?
Mark and Luke at BlueFix are great.
@@RoamingRadfords Thanks!
Not my cup of tea but they've done a superb job on this conversion, well done Knights.
Thanks Steve x

Sure I do, but this world is full of abbreviations, and I’ll probably continue using this term even more now knowing it winds people up 😉

The overnighter, second car is what we bought it for. We own our perfect motorhome for longer trips with more people.
