After listening to a Patton version, yeah, Chuck owns this song hands down. This was one that was designed for him. I'd welcome him back if FNM were to continue with him as the vocalist.
traveled up from AZ for all 3 nights.... will never forget this night when Chuck came out and did a handful of songs..... feel lucky I got to see him play with the guys before he passed. :-(
I am glad to see this on you tube as a curio. I admit I didn't know about chuck being the original lead singer. I am glad I went to the first night of this warfield run without him doing these songs. I think Mike patton is so much better.
Mike Patton is a genius but Chuck's better for this stuff. It's so 'out there' with this dude that can't sing. Puts it on a real punk level which I personally love. The 1st album was always my favorite album. Nothing sounds like it. Patton is amazing in his own bands though. Tomahawk and Fantomas. Amazing.
It's like Eddie and David Lee reuniting, amazing. I never would have thought this would have happend. Wish they played together on the 12th, grrrrr!!!!
I had nothing to do with it.......rude dudes who speak of the dead deserve a smack.........now what is you issue......lol Besides being corny. lol Fred Rangers XIII product of unconcerned parents and a general needy learning disabled youtube poster.....To Russia with love
Chuck did the early tunes brilliantly, better than Mikey boy does, but what do you expect now. He's been out of the game for years. Mike is my all time hero, I idolise him, but chuck was brilliant and 'introduced' me to FNM . Chuck man I hope you are keeping good, You were and are a legend.
Awesome! Mosley's song WCAL was the song that got me into FNM... before Patton, although Mike might have better vocal chops, Mosley was great in his own right.
@TheInbornMechanics not by any chance, many dont that Bungle was around way before Patton joined FNM. and the rhcp werent even heard about. Plus, how have Mosley and Keidis influenced music in comparison to Angel Dust (which completely changed the route for metal) Disco Volante and Fantomas? RHCP and Mosley were fun but NOT musically relevant.
They were aroud the same time. Anthony called him out and said he stole his style which is hard to believe because they sang in a similar way around the same time.
Yes,there is ...It's simple, the same song, two singers..Patton has much more energy in his version, even though he mostly makes fun of this song...Mosely is cool with his rap style "singing" but Patton is simply better and more talented. No dilema there... ;)
He got the words wrong in the second verse, replacing them with the words in the 3rd verse, then went through the chorus as if it was the end of the song, then he was shocked as hell when they came back and screamed "We Care a Lot" for the beginning of the 3rd verse. This guy hasn't changed. Although they made some good songs with Chuck, this is why they got rid of him... stoned out of his mind...
Yeah, I used to be a Patton faithful, but I've gotten to re-evaluate the music over the years and I think a lot of the Chuck Mosley stuff holds up better over time. Patton let himself get a bit out of control with his screams and vocal experimentation ... then they lost much of their signature sound when Jim Martin was fired.
Chuck might not have been able to hit those extreme heights of Mike Patton, nobody can, Pattons a force of nature. But Chuck had heart, and thats gotta count for something
Dude, I totally agree with you, I okay with the fact that Patton is an awesome singer, batter at the technical level, but Mosley sounds better, even if he sings strangely, he's like Ozzy Osbourne, a guy who learned how to read at 15 and sings as if he was ill, but a god in heavy metal world, And, I've got to say that even if I listened loads of Faith No More's albums, The only one that I love to listen is the first one too ;)
Mike patton musically is better he can sing many styles and suits many genres. Maybe chuck suits the original faith no more formula more as in style but mikes can really do anything chuck can do if he wanted too because of his vocals. Mike did bring FNM to a darker edge though he brought a little bit of his Mr. Bungle to it lol but as a music lover I love Mikes stuff he's slow stuff he's wild stuff he's aggressive stuff. And I appreciate and really do enjoy FNM early stuff with chuck. I give FNM with chuck a 8.5 and FNM with Mike a 10.
Chuck wrote this song, So, i give him credit for that. Patton signs way better thou, both great artist in their own rights. By the way, Patton is a great singer but he is not a song writer like chuck.
He's been away over 20 years. But he missed the coolest verse 'about the gambler pushers and the geeks, about the smack and crack and wack that hit the streets" the garbage pail kids verse etc. It had been a long time, he was rusty. Chuck was always a little off, but without him, we wouldn't have any Faith No More at all.
Colin Wichman I love Chuck's era of Faith no More. It's got that post-punk edge to it. He may not be exactly as good as a singer as Patton, but he's still got the soul.
gasmaskboi19371945 agreed. I just wish he got that song right, it's pretty much his signature. Probably drunk. God knows I have NEVER been drunk, especially around old friends
@JessicaVaught Whoa.. Whatever your taste is, no one can say that Chuck Mosley has acomplished more than Mike Patton. Maybe it was a transition between the 80s and the 90s, but that was just popular alternative music. Mike Patton evolved far beyond that of mere pop music. Just check out his band Fantômas. Now don't come and tell me that stuff is unoriginal.
yeah but remember chuck hasnt performed with fnm for 22 years so of course he's gonna be a bit rusty compared to mike patton who's probably sung this song 3 times more than chuck ever did. chucks style is unique, maybee he cant sing as good as patton, noone can, but he has the voice that made this song a sucsess in the 1st place
for a guy that is about to beg openly online for cash to pay his rent, he seems to not give a flying fuck about caring about singing in his band. Maybe that is the hallmark of the charm that made him not care (a lot) in the first place.
Seriously people? Chuck sounds like he's about to fall asleep at any moment. This is a great reminder as to why the best thing Faith No More ever did was drop this zombie for Mike Patton.
Seriously people? Amazing? Please. Chuck sounds like he's about to fall asleep at any moment. This video is a great reminder as to why Faith No More made a great decision to drop this zombie early on in their career. There is no comparison between Mosely and Mike Patton, the latter is far and away superior.
you do realise jim was fired cos he did NOTHING on the angel dust album, and that he wanted fnm to be the next metallica?! glad he was fired, hudson is good, but needs to move more. dean and trey were good on the kffad and tours in 95.
Chuck Mosley blows Patton away. Patton's voice is annoying. Mick Jagger has been accused of not being able to sing, which shows you how much people's opinions matter. It ain't about vocal technique, it's about EVERYTHING.
@candyscar Problem is, Chuck doesn't sing at all. He just "talks" the lyrics. He was decent in 85, but now he's just shit. The novelty value is still there though.
RIP Mosley. Although everyone knows Mike Patton, we still really care a lot about you.
@Lisa Surlie shut up, asshole
I don't think we have to choose between Chuck and Mike.
poor taste Lisa, bad
mike is a music junkie
each to their own, there would be a mike Patton FNM without chuck
@Lisa Surlie stop trolling
FUCKING A...CHUCK DESERVES EVERY OUNCE...THANK YOU!
this is awsome to see cant belive im jsut now finding it
I am glad to see this on you tube as a curio. I admit I didn't know about chuck being the original lead singer. I am glad I went to the first night of this warfield run without him doing these songs. I think Mike patton is so much better.
R.i.p. chuck
Never in my wildest dreams would i think this could happen!!
It's good to see Chuck in good shape^^ This is amazing!!!
DanDrummer93
This comment didn’t age well. :*(
why do so many people bash chuck? introduce yourself was an amazing album!
Because they're blue waffles.
I miss chuck!!! When he got kicked out of FNM I shut myself in my room for weeks!!!
Nice to see that FNM and Chuck aren't hating each other despite the things that happened in their past.
Amazing.
this is awsome to see cant belive im jsut now finding it oh thats cool he sings mikes version
THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!
It's like Eddie and David Lee reuniting, amazing. I never would have thought this would have happend. Wish they played together on the 12th, grrrrr!!!!
R.I.P. Chuck
Amazing Chuck !

RIP Chuck
OMG! Amazing, had no idea this happened.
You didn't care alot
RIP Chuck 😞
Chuck ....the legend!!
Although I never cared for Chucky, its just fucking awesome to see this.
And nobody beats Big Jim Martin!
+Andys Videos/Bungle Boy Videos fuuuuuck yeah!!!!!
Well he died so dont worry about it bro
I had nothing to do with it.......rude dudes who speak of the dead deserve a smack.........now what is you issue......lol Besides being corny. lol
Fred Rangers XIII product of unconcerned parents and a general needy learning disabled youtube poster.....To Russia with love
Jim was awesome but , so is Trey Spraunce and Jon
Chuck Mosley rules !
Legendary
No way laa. Rest easy kid.
"Chuck Mosley blows Patton away."
That's just comedy.
@GrizzlTooth Yeah he was. The two of them performed Introduce Yourself together.
rip
Chuck did the early tunes brilliantly, better than Mikey boy does, but what do you expect now. He's been out of the game for years. Mike is my all time hero, I idolise him, but chuck was brilliant and 'introduced' me to FNM . Chuck man I hope you are keeping good, You were and are a legend.
agreed 100%. I love Patton, but Chuck was fantastic.
R.I.P. Chuck... Legendary first frontman for a legendary band
Já tava apresentando sinais de cansaço! Já não tinha mais aquela disposição de antes! Grande perda! Muito triste!!
where's Mike? Was he at this show and let Chuck on stage or what? Just curious.
I still prefer Chuck. :-)
La version original muy buena
Somewhere there's a hatchet in the ground
CM punk
what has chuck done since leaving fnm vs....what has mike done? (’-’*)
They were aroud the same time. Anthony called him out and said he stole his style which is hard to believe because they sang in a similar way around the same time.
all they need is jim back and the comeback is complete
😟
Typical too fast meter as it is probably the 10.000th time they have played the song, oh well.
all they need is Jim and then they're REALLY back
Yes,there is ...It's simple, the same song, two singers..Patton has much more energy in his version, even though he mostly makes fun of this song...Mosely is cool with his rap style "singing" but Patton is simply better and more talented. No dilema there... ;)

This guy hasn't changed. Although they made some good songs with Chuck, this is why they got rid of him... stoned out of his mind...
i always thought he kinda sounded like tommy chong....but thats cool though....Long live chuck!
completely does!
@MrStoney420 yeah I thought it was cool that chuck agreed to do it, too bad jim didn't...
Comparing chuck and mikey is like comparing apples and a monolith made of pure gold.
I agree.
Chuck might not have been able to hit those extreme heights of Mike Patton, nobody can, Pattons a force of nature. But Chuck had heart, and thats gotta count for something
I wouldn't call Patton 'apples'. But chuck definitely is a monolith of gold
Chuck was one of kind..a heart of pure gold
And apples are mighty fine too
seems like everyone else cared alot except chuck haha
this is great!!!:..
But patton rulezzz anyway
@TheInbredMechanic
Look at a recent Mike Patton video & compare it to this... Now tell me patton isn't better
Dude, I totally agree with you, I okay with the fact that Patton is an awesome singer, batter at the technical level, but Mosley sounds better, even if he sings strangely, he's like Ozzy Osbourne, a guy who learned how to read at 15 and sings as if he was ill, but a god in heavy metal world,

2 people really didnt like Biodome.
Chuck wrote this song, So, i give him credit for that. Patton signs way better thou, both great artist in their own rights. By the way, Patton is a great singer but he is not a song writer like chuck.
Too bad they couldn't kiss and make up with Jim Martin. Would have been great to see them all on stage together.
It's a dirty but someone... of course has to do it (always same endless story...)
Chuck sounds like some stoned kid from the audience with crazy hair cut ...
I like both singers but Mike Patton's fans are insufferrable.
Its cause Patton is the best. And no one cam argue otherwise.
@@CRGR1997 chuck and patton are their own kinds of best
Sounded like Beavis and Butthead together in FNM! ;)
It sounds like Chuck's falling asleep...
After all, he was kicked out of the band for falling asleep on stage (possibly narcolepsy).
He's been away over 20 years. But he missed the coolest verse 'about the gambler pushers and the geeks, about the smack and crack and wack that hit the streets" the garbage pail kids verse etc. It had been a long time, he was rusty. Colin Wichman You've never been drunk?
Colin Wichman Yo I swear, people cannot sense sarcasm these days.
They should've invited Jim Martin to join this concert, then we had a CLASSIC FNM.
wow chuck doesn't look a day over 60.
@JessicaVaught Whoa.. Whatever your taste is, no one can say that Chuck Mosley has acomplished more than Mike Patton. for once they play it at the right tempo and not all fast and shitty
yeah but remember chuck hasnt performed with fnm for 22 years so of course he's gonna be a bit rusty compared to mike patton who's probably sung this song 3 times more than chuck ever did. chucks style is unique, maybee he cant sing as good as patton, noone can, but he has the voice that made this song a sucsess in the 1st place

Sounds like he's tired 😅
Seriously people? Chuck sounds like he's about to fall asleep at any moment. This is a great reminder as to why the best thing Faith No More ever did was drop this zombie for Mike Patton.
Mike still owns Chuck, but this is cool nonetheless.
Seriously people? Amazing? Please. Chuck sounds like he's about to fall asleep at any moment. This video is a great reminder as to why Faith No More made a great decision to drop this zombie early on in their career. There is no comparison between Mosely and Mike Patton, the latter is far and away superior.
no Jim martin= no FNM!
Jon is better. Jim just played in an off scale and amazing tone.
Chuck Mosley does not "care a lot"!
'sing as well' 'no one' :/
In no way is Mosley a better singer than Patton, I just like his uniqueness apart from pattons uniqueness
you do realise jim was fired cos he did NOTHING on the angel dust album, and that he wanted fnm to be the next metallica?! glad he was fired, hudson is good, but needs to move more. dean and trey were good on the kffad and tours in 95.
1zv jajajaj 10 years later you are still a moron!
Chuck Mosley blows Patton away. Patton's voice is annoying. Mick Jagger has been accused of not being able to sing, which shows you how much people's opinions matter. It ain't about vocal technique, it's about EVERYTHING.
this is in no way amazing, ive heard better versions of this being sung down at the local karaoke bar.
@candyscar
Problem is, Chuck doesn't sing at all. He just "talks" the lyrics. He was decent in 85, but now he's just shit. The novelty value is still there though.
Mike Patton é 1000 vezes melhor !!!!!!!
Either Chuck has completely lost it, not making the slightest effort, or he's totally wasted. Terrible performance.
horrible
