Vic High Country is As good as it get for me.Steep challenging tracks and beautiful country to drive through with great mares .Always the highlight of my year.
Mate had the wildest winds and dry thunderstorms whilst out in the dust of Cultana in SA. About ten minutes out of Port Augusta. No rain which was the weird part.
Ive got a 3 month east coast trip on the planner, deff high country, cant wait for those views and epic tracks. We dont get that kinda elevation in WA 😆
Crackin vid!!! Considering the VIC high country is in my backyard I’d love to head North. The Kimberley’s is very high on my list as well as catching a Barra!!!
So far so good, Licola, then the climb up to the Helipad on Mt Margaret. Shame the bridge was closed at the waterhole entry to the Mc Michael and Kelly's hut track, but there's always a next time. Billy Goat is no place to park a Chevy though! LOL Looking forward to the next episode. Come back again sometime and look at some of the other tracks I sent you, or better yet, give me a call.
Did a 3 month trip last year, didn’t do the west coast, so Exmouth Nigaloo is a must for us and the whole WA coast. Good fishing, food & beautiful beaches to camp on, bucket list!
I live in Ridgecrest CA in the US and never been to the top of Mt Whitney. It’s so close to where I lived and I’ve biked and hiked so many trails around us but for whatever reason have done that peak. I would love to take my 3 teen boys up to the top with me for theirs and my own first time also.
Touring the Kimberly would be my dream just got get some gear to kit out my 4wd and get my license until then just have to watch you guys travel around
Just moved to WA and can't wait to just enjoy what this place has to offer just got back from a little two day trip in my mates rig and got bitten hard by the explorer bug time to save hard for 6 months and invest in a rig of my own
Booked time off for the Cape next year… Said it year after year and never took the time off so 2024 is booked and we are going Now to finish decking out the Ute
Love it landcruiser hand brake joke but I would have accepted what you think of my landcruiser hand brake upgrade and show the wife with a roothy approved 😂
You guys need to check out Walhalla in Vic some good tracks there. One place I'm keen to go is to the Cape but my old hilux not ready for that yet and my name never gets drawn on the give-aways 😂😂😂 can't wait to see the rest of the drip
Having just come off Moreton Island 2 days ago, I am super keen to go to Fraser now. That'll have to wait until 2026 though as we're going out to The Finke Desert race next year. But yeah definitely keen for Fraser
I’m disappointed to see the ridge track conditions, no grass, scrub bush growth holding the dirt onto the track up the hills. When l been up in 70’s to 90’s it had no erosion and bare ground. And the tracks being chewed up by people like here.
You do realise they do grade the track every so often which means the dirt that comes off the top to smooth it out or to fill in gets pushed to the side of the track
Queenslanders camping in the cold = whinging. ;). Keep practicing lads. Thanks for the content.
Married to a Queenslander, so completely agree😂
@@TimmyT.86 in saying that, my Victorian misso must be from QLD ')

Mate had the wildest winds and dry thunderstorms whilst out in the dust of Cultana in SA. About ten minutes out of Port Augusta. No rain which was the weird part.

Crackin vid!!! Considering the VIC high country is in my backyard I’d love to head North. The Kimberley’s is very high on my list as well as catching a Barra!!!

Great video too 👊🏼
So far so good, Licola, then the climb up to the Helipad on Mt Margaret. Shame the bridge was closed at the waterhole entry to the Mc Michael and Kelly's hut track, but there's always a next time. Billy Goat is no place to park a Chevy though! LOL

Victorian high country has to be up there for me..!! It’s been so highly recommended, how could you not..?!!
Did a 3 month trip last year, didn’t do the west coast, so Exmouth Nigaloo is a must for us and the whole WA coast. Good fishing, food & beautiful beaches to camp on, bucket list!

Right there. Fanging for it
This is the best content 💯
What's with the electric blankie, thought you Queenslanders were tough😘
When it comes to the heat, we ain’t used to that cold
I just had a nissan patrol 1993 given to me from art deceased estate and haven't been 4wd and not sure where to go. I live in Sydney
Fraser Island for sure Matty!
Vic high country looks amazing, but I really wanna just do Frazer!
Been to the high country but haven’t made it to the pinnacles yet.
What coffee/grinder set up are you running in the Ram?
Just moved to WA and can't wait to just enjoy what this place has to offer just got back from a little two day trip in my mates rig and got bitten hard by the explorer bug time to save hard for 6 months and invest in a rig of my own
I’ve camped through some rough winds but not as bad as what you guys camped in. My favourite place would be Fraser Island
Exmouth!! Would love you travel from the east coast to the west coast. Ending up in Exmouth. Looks like a dream location
Im keen as to get out to the Simpson, Maybe even in the Travla 40 series
Booked time off for the Cape next year… Said it year after year and never took the time off so 2024 is booked and we are going
Now to finish decking out the Ute
Definitely keen to go to the cape after watching the last few eps
Would love to drive up to the edge of vic below pilot wildness area in NSW, pretty remote, love seeing high country trips
Love it landcruiser hand brake joke but I would have accepted what you think of my landcruiser hand brake upgrade and show the wife with a roothy approved 😂
It has to be the cape for me … so keen
You guys need to check out Walhalla in Vic some good tracks there. One place I'm keen to go is to the Cape but my old hilux not ready for that yet and my name never gets drawn on the give-aways 😂😂😂 can't wait to see the rest of the drip
The wife and I are super keen to do a lap of aus and get up the top end, we've been to cairns but want to a lot more

I've been wanting to get up to the tip specially after watching your vids
So did you upgrade the transmission? Or just fix it with a stocker?
Davies Plains.... the cruiser needs a bit of fruit first 🤘
My bucket list is Fink Desert Race.
That ridge you were looking at are the Sentinels
Mount Kosciusko would be up there in the top 3 to visit
Tasmania trip would be insane 😅
Where did you get that single cab roof rack for the ram mate? I’ve been trying to find one and can’t! Please get back to me! Cheers
Having just come off Moreton Island 2 days ago, I am super keen to go to Fraser now. That'll have to wait until 2026 though as we're going out to The Finke Desert race next year. But yeah definitely keen for Fraser

I would love to do the telegraph track brother but it’s a bummer I live all the way in WA one day one day 🤙🏽💯
I’m disappointed to see the ridge track conditions, no grass, scrub bush growth holding the dirt onto the track up the hills. When l been up in 70’s to 90’s it had no erosion and bare ground. And the tracks being chewed up by people like here.
I think these American trucks are not meant for our 4wd tracks. No need for them, ruining tracks just for content.
Its DHs Like this that get tracks closed
You do realise they do grade the track every so often which means the dirt that comes off the top to smooth it out or to fill in gets pushed to the side of the track
An what you being there back then means people that haven’t this day an age can’t lol double standards at its finest
We’re here to watch 4wheelin mate… I don’t think the yank tanks are gonna do much more “damage” to the tracks than a patrol or cruiser…
Going up Billy is defiantly harder than down.
Simpson desert round 2. That's the next cant wait to visit destination
My have to visit destination has got to be Fraser island. Sorry have to call it by its old name. Too old to change. High country looks awesome.
Are you going to give more detail on the gear box fail ??
You should try the 1000-dollar track in Tasmania.
Would love to get to Fraser Island.
