@@FoodandFootprints Wow, Greg & Jumi, you guys really went hunting for Regent pandan layered cake immediately! Glad that you guys loved the pandan cake. 👍😃 Thanks to Puri & Sue for bringing you guys there! 👍 Next trip to Klang, why not try the famous roti canai, Restaurant I.V. Pandamaran, where you can find many states flags? I myself used to eat four pieces plain roti there! 😁The roti was fluffy, light & crispy; it's addictive! Not sure how's the roti there now? There's also Uncle Raju's Corner in Taman Palm Groove, another recommended restaurant. And, in Klang, you can go for the seafood, in Meru. All the above are the places where locals normally go for their favourite foods/non-touristy. 😊
Puri and Sue!!! Well, hello!!!! Loooove that tradition of washing the cups and utensils with hot water on the table We thought it was a Chinese tradition, so we love learning from you guys that it is done there too! Love seeing Jumi so happy after that meal! Those boxes are so beautiful 😍😍
Good morning guys! So much good food and glad you met up with Puri and Sue. I would love this place since they serve things with rice. Now that’s my type of snacks. Nice you guys got your own personal tour guides.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your food explorations in Klang with Puri n Sue. That sponge pandan cake layered with custard is my fav too.
🙌🏻🙌🏻 we did a shoot just next door of the Pandan cake shop beginning Jan 2023 and the whole Production sapu his pandan 🍰 for our brekkie! 😆😋👍🏻👍🏻 Super light and melts in the mouth!🤤
Finally, Puri & Sue did justice! 😂👏🏻👏🏼👏🏿 I was thinking of BKT yesterday for breakfast, 1 of my students recommended me the same shop a few years back! Seems like the place has improved. 👍🏻🍲🍚🍵
Hello Greg & Jumi. Puri & Sue brought you to the right place to have bak kut teh. In Klang.👍 The Chinese tea is best with fatty food. One of my relatives who is a lover of pork bellies, ( he was in his 80's slim, radiant and healthy) will drown them down with the tea.😅
Hi Kellie! We were so happy to finally try Klang bak kut teh. It definitely lived up to expectations. We have really come to appreciate the balance of healthy things like tea, herbal drinks, etc. He is a wise man for that!
What an awesome day to have amazing food in Klang !! Ranging from dry bak kut teh, soup bak kut teh, pandan layered cake to fresh coconut drinks. Come on Greg, don't crush the whole box of pandan layered cake to yourself 😂🤓 ( just kidding ) Have a wonderful day/week, Greg Jumi.
So many options of food available in Klang..think I can just smell the bak kut teh right out your video...yes after my Chinese restaurant meals in Klang did also get those pau from that particular outlet to bring home...
Klang not underrated but famous wìth super busy dan dangerous traffic because too many lory and truck go to port klang. Almost everyone try to avoid klang if had other alternative places...
@Food and Footprints- Greg and Jumi bah kut teh was cooked by Chinese collies at the port (previously called port swettenham). There were no machines in 19th century. Human power and hard work. So they put Chinese medicine inside plus protein to give some energy, eat with rice.
some says that eating nasi kerabu, you must have an etok, solok lada, jeruk bawang putih is a must.... then you can add ayam/daging bakar... etok, i think you can find it in pantai dalam, selangor at some days, like morning market I guess but did not really know which day it is... and you have to ask for kelantanese to show you how to pry open it shell using the leftover shells or a knife, for us kelantanese, we've using our teeth to open it...
@@FoodandFootprints This is a few recommendations Nasi Kerabu around Klang Valley 1. Kelate Kitchen, Setapak. 2. Warung Soho, Hartamas. 3. Nasi Kerabu Antarabangsa, Pantai Dalam. 4. Warung Ambo, Shah Alam. 5. Kak Ar Kelate, Puchong.
