Mcdduck decided to give some serious bars!! We always knew she had potential to pull of some bars but I don’t know if we knew just how excellent she would be when taking it seriously and not messing around. Our Yong is such an ICON!!

Solar is my favorite singer alive today, in the world and this song is why. There is no way to process it. She is a super beautiful femme fatale disney princess woman everyone loves with the voice of an angel giving your eyes and ears just about 3 minutes of non-stop sensory eye and ear gasms. How can you process that and it feels like no time has passed because somehow what she has done in this song, the feelings you feel just linger for a while after.

There's just no way to actually be prepared for Solar.
That was SO SO SOLAR!!! She's so talented, and I love the fact that she always tries new arrangements with her music. She uses her vocal range and versatility in so many different ways instead of belting high notes on every song (as we all know she can do with ease). Love her for her talent, versatility, imagination and beauty.
"Big Booty" is fantastic. I know you'll love the production for it.
I defo agree that theres so much and so good with the instrumentals. Like Solar did so well with Honey because what a banger it is!!!!

Happy belated birthday, glad you enjoyed taking time off just for some me time. (I do similar on my birthday, phone is off, i get a book from the library and head to a nearby beach, spend the whole day reading in a sea cave)
And i'm still trying to process this song even so many hours and so many views later, myself. (Plus her latest interview with jessi on showterview). But the one thing i keep going back to is the sax section whenever it pops in... it just takes me back to the nearly forgotten "honeybee" solar did with hani of exid and luna of f(x) and i really don't think that's an accident
As for "big booty", that one is bound to shock you in a totally different way. It was her first fully self-written and self-composed song she wrote years ago and she actually performed it at her solo concert back in "starry night" era. She also released a sort of combined behind the scenes and performance video for it on her yt channel for her birthday last month.
I won't spoil anything about the song, really, but will say it is literally about her love for big butts and how she wished she had one
The white mask in the beginning, when she splits it in two, making a V shape, references the Korean beauty Standard in which a V shape face is the most beautiful feature, yet hers isn't, hence why she asks " am I attractive?" And then says that of course she is. This is, in a way, some social critique towards the Korean standards of beauty
We see many different colors being used , reflecting different aspects/sides of her personality, I could be wrong but, what I get from this is, that it's her way of saying " hey I'm not only a belting vocalist" " I'm not this one facet idol you think I am ".
Yellow being her youthful/playful side.
Red being her seductive side.
Green being her "grounded" down to earth side.
Pink representing the "Glamorous" performer side ( with the sparkles/glitters and all )
The News Paper thing could be either the "modelesque" side, but I would lean more towards it being a representation of her fierce side, the no-half-assing things side of her, it's either black or white and the way her hair is cropped with the red lipstick being the only color accent, enforced that strict/fierce image.
The All white being the representation of the perception people have from her. This is later enforced when she starts breaking the stuff and thus "revealing" her "true colors" (paint coming out )
The red crop t-shirt line references her solo debut Spit it out. That Winnie the Pooh reference with the "My friend Piglet" line , chef's kiss 🤣
So basically this song and MV is Solar saying " yeah I'm all that which you think of me, but I am also so much more than that"
