Been to Squires, got the T-shirt (literally), and had a fantastic time there before riding on to Castleford for dinner, and making my overnight stop near the Tigers Rugby stadium in Castleford, all on my way down from Lindisfarne. The east coast of UK is fantastic, especially those of Northumberland and Norfolk. The Fisch 'n Chips in Chapel St Leonards near Skegness were 1st class. Loved watching this and refreshing my memory of last summer's 24 day megea 4300km treck from Switz. across N France then clockwise round England (incl passing through Swindon/Marlborough) and back to Switzerland... i'd do it again at the blink of an eye. Thanks, stay safe. S.
Fantastic video 👏 ! I'm hoping to do a grand tour of England one day and if it were on a motorcycle that would be the icing on the cake ! The history there is astounding to me. Cheers from NYC !
Wow. What a great place to visit. Its been on my do list for a while and now want to go even more now. Stunning scenery. And so much history. You've got great mates to enjoying it all with. What a team xx
WOW CHARLIE! What a fantastic video. My favourite so far. Excellent editing as always. Enjoyed every second. Thank you so much for your efforts and ride safe.
My wife and I got married in Lindisfarne Castle in 2008. We rode our bikes there with 2 of my wife's daughters on pillion and met up with some of our biking friends there. The registrar travelled down from Berwick on Tweed to do the business and afterwards' she sent a report to her local newspaper about our biker wedding. The headline of the newspaper article was " And The Bride Wore Leather. " We didn't know about the article until a workmate, who lived in Morpeth, brought a copy of the newspaper into work. The title made my wife and I laugh. Great video by the way Charlie.
Hiya I have just watched this vlog and it brought back memories of me and my mates riding where you have just ridden. I live in Hastings East Sussex but I am a passionate Yorkshire chap born and partially raised a Bradfordian. So Cumbria the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District were our local haunts for biking and camping. Then I rode a Suzuki GS750E an ace bike for a young eighteen-year-old that had passed his test at seventeen a year before. Anyway enough of my rambling on early next year I hope to buy a CF MOTO 450 CRUISER SO till then keep up the great vlogs take care. Matt from HASTINGS P S Great to see Rodger and a BIG HELLO TO BELLA.
Respect indeed for braving the weather, covering the miles, visiting my Scotland & excellent & interesting visual & oral stimulation that has kept us intrigued.
Hello sister and wow, some of the big sky cinematic footage was amazing I swear I could hear Pink Floyd playing in the background 😊 it might have been this new tobacco im trying. I've got to get my backside up there. Great vid and thanks for sharing. Kind regards Si ✊😎.
Wow - the early morning ride over to Lindisfarne looked incredible……one for the bike bucket list me thinks. Thanks for sharing. I was fortunate enough to ride with a friend over the A7 bridge in the Netherlands to Harlingen a good few years back, an equally breath taking journey across the sea. If you ever get the chance……
We did it on cycles a couple of months ago... from Alnwick to Berwick with a night on the Island in the hotel overlooking the priory. A great place to visit and your drone shots were superb. Thanks for bringing us along. O' and I rode the CFMoto back to back with the new Himalayan and you have absolutely got the better bike ( IMHO) ..... but the humble 411 is still the best of the three for bag for the buck and self service but I would say that as I've had one 4 years now !!
Thank you, Charlie for that epic ride to Lindisfarne. What amazing scenery and to go across that title water we have that in New Brunswick. We have a title river called the petticoat river. Thank you for the Viking tour the detailed cinematography really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one.
Lovely video nice ride. Thanks for the updated information on the CF MOTO looking forward to the next one, my best wishes to you from the Philippines ❤️👍💪😉😀😁🏁🏍️🏍️🐑🇵🇭🏴⭐
brilliant!!! fished under the chain bridge many a summers night, and the run down the east coast -berwick, holy island bamburgh, seahouses one of my favs. well done
Me and my wife went to York a couple weeks ago (not on the bike unfortunately) and we stumbled across Valhalla and had dinner there, was really nice and didn’t even know it existed. Need to go back when I’m not the designated driver though to try all the mead
Brilliant vid Charlie, I love that part of the country, Northumberland is so steeped in history, love it , Lindesfarne and the holy islands are a must to see, hope you sampled the monks mead ? Bit sweet though, again the city of York is a beautiful place to visit too , lovely cobble streets and Betty’s tea room, loved it Charlie , cheers Mitch 👍
Brilliant, I really enjoyed this adventure. The Northumbrian coastline is stunning and is somewhere I will return to hopefully next year. I've not been to York for years so maybe I'll do what you did and combine the 2.
Loved this one Charlie! Reminded me of one of my favorite TV series : Vikings. It seems to be universal with reviewers, that the CF Moto 450 is the real deal.
Very cool. During our Newfoundland ride, this past summer, the Viking settlement was not in our cards. We are planning a return trip to visit. Vikings first to North America, interesting and adventurous people.
Nice to see you got back safe and sound if a little worse for wear (weather wise). We chatted briefly at your first call in at Squires, I was the guy with the 800MT, I couldn't help but notice the mod for your tank bag, mine continually caught the bars on full lock so changed to the handle bar bag. The tank fillers looked roughly the same on your 450 and my 800 with the 5 bolt fixing so I sent for one, near enough a perfect fit; no mods needed just a little bend down where the rubbers are as they didn't quite rest on the tank. The tank bag is back on and the bars are now free for me to fit yet more electronic wizardry, I enjoy watching your vlogs so keep 'em coming, I tried it once myself but soon found out I just don't have the patience for it 👍
Thank you for your wonderful video's. Especially this one is fantastic. As an older (73) rider from the Netherlands, who has made multiple solo trips though Scandinavia and Western Europe, I find your video's very inspiring and a joy to watch. Thank you so much! 🏍😀
A nice video, thanks Charlie. There are some amazing biking roads in Northumberland, with very little traffic. It’s a shame you didn’t get to explore them a little more. Destiny is all 😀
Was supposed to be camping in York this weekend, but had to cancel due to family reasons so thanks for the tour. On the plus side I’ve finally passed my test yay! Been out on Maggie (Himalayan 450) for first time. Loved it, but considering getting her lowered. Great vid again Charlie 😍
Splendid .....Northumberland can be very unpredictable at this time of year and the best time of day to get accross to Lindisfarne ....There are a few castles to visit on that coastline ; notably Bamburgh and Alnwick ....all good stuff and well done 😄👏
Charlie, The Boss and I really enjoyed this video (we enjoy ALL your videos!) and it was so good seeing the Glen Moray whiskies in the shop, as that distillery is only 7 miles from our home! We enjoy a wee dram but £950 for a bottle of Glengoyne is bonkers 🤣We're glad you enjoyed Lindisfarne ... we're been twice and we did too!
Good Evening Charlie , this has to be one of your best video's to date , your drone footage was awesome , im pleased you came to my neck of the woods , as Lindisfarne is only about 45mls from me , so as always take care & ride safe . ( i see your still waiting for your luggage racks )
The vikings knew the tide because it mainly follows the moon. The tide is periodic and rather predictable. In principle their predictions were not much different from the predictions we do today. Really impressive is the vikings navigation using the sun as a compass. In cloudy conditions the vikings used polarized crystals to find the direction of the sun to determine their compass heading.
Hey Charlie, always good to see you make a successful trip, glad the bike is still giving you good vibes! Thank you for your content and what you do……Cam xx💐
I was wondering where you have been Charlie, so glad to see you back. You seem to have scaled back on the amount of stuff you have taken this time. Your bike looks less laden down. Great vlogg Charlie. Nice to hear Jay speaking too. As always ride safe ! Pete
Great video especially the beautiful section on Lindisfarne. What was the music? Never understood the hype about the Vikings, after all, we Saxons beat them. Took a while though.🙂
The filming of these beautiful places was just epic...(inside joke... The Three Tuns, were was the roundabout?....we will just call it CoOp!!! he he) regards from Wroughton 😂😂👍👍👍
