I like your production, reminds me of the spirit and enthusiasm for riding that my late wife had, sadly taken at 55 (big C) she rode from 17. It never mattered how cold, if the sun was out she would want to ride, whether in the UK or Europe. Thank you for a really nice 45 mins of great viewing
Hi, thank you for commenting, I'm so sorry for your loss, your wife sounds like she had a real passion for two wheels, I hope you have many happy memories. X
Look how your production has improved! Great video. Stay true to being honest if you feel inclined to review anything - it's your reputation and credibility. I will say Hi at a show one day however grumpy you look 😂😊 thanks also for the nhs work you do!
Hey Charlie, what a great video. I love my coffee and have a gaggia coffee maker and grinder at home, so like the faff of making a coffee. When go camping I take beans, a hand held grinder and brew a pour over coffee. All part of the fun for me. I'll certainly have a look at the outin portable coffee maker that you reviewed. Keep up the great work and respect for being a paramedic. Ride safe and ride free......
Nice one 👍....Thanks for that Charlie ; a nice relaxing 45 minutes or so , of viewing . I guess I'm old fashioned and take a thermos flask of coffee on my rides . The CF Moto looks like a good bike , and I love the colour scheme too ....👍
Hi Charlie, thank you for what you do and another great video. That coffee maker looked so good that I bought one. Just want to let your other viewers know that there seams to be a problem on the OutIn website. I was charged in dollars rather that in Pounds Sterling having selected GBP in the cart. Just thought others should be aware. (Just for clarity I do not think that this is a reflection on you!). Stay shiny side up!
What a cool device! I like coffee tinted milk... Wonder if it's good for tea? Have enjoyed your vlog since start & really glad to see you try new things--bike, skill, and gadgets! Though at nearly 60, camping not for me, but nice option for coffee always good!
Thank you for sharing so much of your story. Fascinating. I always enjoy your videos . I think many people can relate to your situation. ❤ Life IS for living. Quite right. 👍😄
Really enjoyed this one Charlie. Felt like I got to know you a bit which is nice. I didn’t get a sticker, or a hug 😮when I bumped into you at ABR last year 😂! Never mind, there’s always this year. I’m looking forward to ABR immensely. Last year was my first one but I’ll being going every year now for the foreseeable future. P.S. Respect and appreciation to you for doing the work you do as a paramedic. Some of us just aren’t built to do that sort of thing so thank goodness that somebody is.
Hi Charlie, great video as always. Thanking you and your colleagues for the great work you do as paramedics, true heroes. As a new drone flyer, I’m interested to learn which app you use for checking fly zones. Safe riding 👍
Thanks Charlie for the video's, having worked with a paramedic as an emergency care assistant for many years i agree fully with your comments. I got my full bike licence last year at the age of 72 and enjoy riding when i can. Keep doing the video's and all the best, Steve.
Hi Charlie. Wonderful vid. It was lovely to hear you rambling on. Seen that coffee maker on a couple of channels. They do look very good for saving space and weight if you like to brew up in a morning. Saves a lot of faff. Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for your life story.Sounds like me you are a free spirit. You summed it up “ life is for living “ Once l escaped from the city l ticked every box in my bucket list.(Farm ,Garden,Forge,Smallholder, narrow boat, and back to helping on a farm at 70.😊Lovely video!
Nice one Charlie, as a former paramedic myself, I completely agree with you on the rewards off the job, and that is also why biking is good for clearing your head and keep you sane and sound, keep them coming!!!
Hi Charlie, great vid , lovely day for a blast out , I’ve been looking at the Outen coffee maker, very nice bit of kit for travelling with especially camping , seen this product with Colin Russell Scottish wild camper , he enjoys it , little expensive but nice bit of kit , yeah there’s been some water around on the ground this last week , thanks Charlie, Mitch 👍
@@restdayrider yeah all good, watching for a nice window of weather to get out on the bikes, got the outer Hebrides all booked up and really looking forward to the trip with my son , hope your keeping well too 👍

The coffee thing is a thing… I might stick with my old mountaineering thermos 🙈 all those years as a junior doctor made me able to drink any old rubbish called coffee - great vlog thanks Charlie!
Loved this one, entertaining & informative. Sadly people love to "put down" or "belittle" your choices. Ignore them and smile they hate it. If solid luggage works for you great ! Keep the wheels rd side down and keep posting. Cheers !
A great video - I’m with you on the hard luggage, security and convenience wins for me plus my himmy(s) are touring shopping do it all bikes so the boxes are essentially on all the time. Nice one Charlie , meeting up with riders to chat or just chill at cafes or parks is an integral part of your well being . Here in Sussex in oct 25 we will be losing a very well known and loved cafe called Whiteways located at the top of Bury Hill nr Arundel . It has been run by the same family for the past 18years , its not just a case of bikers but also walkers , cyclists , and dog walkers . Plans are afoot to turn it into an upmarket dinning venue . Since retiring last year it has been a good excuse to get out on the flat and meet up with the other old gits who frequent it during the week
Great vid 😊I love your great bimbling chats. Although, YT gremlins had unsubscribed me, which was rude! Beautiful BSA my Dad also rode one, amongst others when he was younger, picked my Mum up for dates on it usually 😂. My midlife crisis has also been learning to ride and I managed to come visit him on my ‘big bike’ just after I passed my DAS before he passed earlier this year, he was very proud ❤ Can’t beat fresh coffee on a day out, probably much better then the similar hand pump one I have, which is a nightmare with cold hands.
Great bimble ramble video, very interesting answers, looks like you had a great day for it. I think you’re right about the hard luggage helping if you have a spill and it’s much easier to unlock rather than undo panniers to help when lifting up your bike. 👍😎
Nice Q&A, most people dont realize just how many hours go into editing. This has been a beaut interesting hearing a bit more about your life. The thing I have enjooyed the most thoough is seeing how you have come on as a rider. Nice plane impersonation by the way. You do this because you enjoy it and having a day to yourself instead of holding a camera all the time you allow you to enjoy it more
Great video Charlie. Thank you. Have followed your adventures for a while now and love all your videos. My daughter is in her 3rd year paramedic degree at Bristol! Keep safe and happy riding xx
Love the vid Charlie. You are truly making me look at getting back into biking. Did it in my youth ( well also when I was younger ) passed my test back in 1980s so I am looking at updating training first, think it will be a good idea.
Really look forward to your posts! This one was really cool. Thanks for letting us share your life and biking trips we all need a bit of “wholesome” now and again👍👍👍👍👍
Charlie you're a star, love your vlogs, love your honesty, love your outlook on life, love the content, love your music choices, keep them coming, ride safe and continue being you..
Hi Charlie - I was fortunate enough in my work (don’t ask) to go out with two paramedic crews (East Midlands and WAST), so humbling to be with the crews and see what they had to do over the course of a shift. I was awe of them and my work felt ‘small’ in comparison. Love the channel - your channel is the one I enjoy most, even inspired me to get back on the bike again after a few years of it sitting in the garage. Thankyou.
Thanks for sharing your story Charlie, great to hear it. I nearly said hi at last years Dragon, but you looked a bit busy. So will ask you for a sticker if you are there next year. 👍
Another great video Charlie, keep them coming! I don't know much about computers but as a newbie TH-camr I was pulling my hair out with lagging even on 1080. I spoke with a youngster who told me that my apple imac was not powerful enough. Couldn't afford a new more powerful imac ( £2500 ) so went for a Dell laptop costing about £1200 which does cope with 4k comfortably using Capcut for editing. Hope this helps 😊😊

Looking forward to hearing those 😂. She will achieve her goal, that’s the main thing . Her older siblings have done really well and I’m positive she and her younger sister will both be fine. 😊
Thanks, Charlie for that awesome video. Really enjoy your bimbles, what a great way to answer questions on the bike. Nice to know that you don’t have everything new in ways of cameras. Getting used or less expensive gear still works. My hat goes off to you for studying to be a paramedic. My dad was a paramedic a long time ago in England and in Canada when we came here and that does take a lot. kudos to you. Well, that was an interesting product that you reviewed handy for along the road coffee as long as it’s powered up I guess and you’ve gotta love a great drone shot. Thank you you always looking forward to your next video.
What a nice look into your life well done to you for managing to retrain with two children to look after and running a household, I’m very grateful for the nhs workers the ambulance crew that come to help me changed my life for the better 👌🏻 take care and safe travels
I like the hard boxes except for the danger. Don't forget that your bike will keep moving forward when you go down. That's when the boxes get you. Be safe and I hope you never need to worry about them.
This was great, I loved to hear you talking about anything and everything. Was really interesting to hear how and why you became a Paramedic and what you've done in the past too. Always watch start to finish every time☺️ I always admire your camera work. I know I couldn't do it, I've barely mastered a knife and fork🤣 Keep them coming 🏍️😄
Very enjoyable vlog Charlie, thank you for taking the time to bring them to us. Paramedics saved my life when I had a major heart attack at home on Xmas Eve night three years ago. Hoping to bump into you one day at an event somewhere.
I like a cappuccino made with about 19 grams of a medium roast arabica freshly ground, with steamed milk. Surprised at the 5 grams. I also have hard boxes on my bike, for the same reasons.
I am assuming you were referring to the moulded ear plugs at the NEC. My wife and I had some made a fue years back and they're very good, but your bike will sound different as they tend to block a fixed frequency range Anything outside that range still gets though. It's not a problem just different. 😅 They're very good at stopping wind noise though.
Really enjoyed that Charlie very interesting. Don't think I could b bothered with that coffee machine though and certainly not at that price. Little folding camping gas stove and a metal mug for the Kenco instant. 🙂
As a retired Paramedic who worked just over the border from you in Oxfordshire, I fully agree no two days were ever the same its, very rewarding, unfortunatly I had to retire with Ill health (bad back) but still miss the Patients not the shifts or managments attitude .... cheers Charlie 😎😎😎
Thank you for that, you've lead an interesting life. The debate about hard or soft panniers is neve ending, personally I like a top box for security and soft side bags. The coffee machine looks good, I always use an Aeropress when camping as they're cheap, robust and make great coffee.
Great video Charlie. People who work in the NHS to help people are like angels when we are in need. 🥰 I am not a coffee drinker, but my husband might be interested in that. Christmas present idea 👍
If your 4K vids are stuttering that would often be the laptop speed but any modern laptop should handle it so probably not that. Try downloading VLC player (free) and seeing if it does it in that. If it's after editing and not the raw files it could be you've got all the mega quality settings on in DaVinci, try exporting as a more basic 4k file with all the cinema quality stuff turned off (anything that makes it a smaller 4k file should play better)
You do you your way we all know your genuine. BTW hiya Charlie, still looking good as ever. Love your work and long may it continue. All the best and see you soon. SI ✌😎.
Charlie, I just love a 'loose destination' 😊 The best rides are when you take random roads ... possibly ones never before ridden. My Interceptor is SORNed, sadly until Spring but I continue to ride vicariously through you! Thank you 🥰
Hi Charlie, I completely agree about the decision not to incorporate product placement on your channel. I find this very refreshing as theres an awful lot of youtubers doing it & I for one find that quite annoying & unnecesary, if I'm after something in particular I fire up the laptop & do some research rather than take someone elses word for it. Keep on keepin those kneeze in the breeze, are you up to 3 bikes now & no RE ?
@@restdayrider A good mix of bikes & each one gives a different riding experience, just looked up the fancy coffee maker. With a retail price of $149 before discounts I won't be buying one, thats an awfull lot of Taylors coffee bags at £3 for a box of 10 ! The coffee bags will take up a lot less space in your luggage as well, but each to ones own eh Charlie.
Great video Charlie you are certainly enjoying the 450MT. One little question you mentioned the DJI mic set up how do you attach the receiver to the camera. I know the the camera is connected by wire ? Thanks😊
Always makes the day a little better when you upload Charlie gong to have to pass on the coffee thingymajig as I’m more of a tea kinda person the other thing I was going to suggest (although I noticed someone else pointed it out) the fringe looks like it could do with a trim looks like it might be annoying especially with a skid lid on otherwise don’t change a thing keep doing what you’re doing 👍
Charlie , thanks for the insight into your life. My 16 year old daughter is looking into a future in medicine. she will be doing her A levels and then university. She is keeping her options open on which path of medicine she wants to go into. She has mentioned about the paramedic side. She goes to StJohn Ambulance now which gives her some experience into a medical role. Your impression of a plane was uncanny , do you do any others ? 😂😂😂 As always ride safe!
Enjoyed your ramblings, your a natural. I am impressed with your coffee machine, what a faff, though... recommend a thermos flask as I can't see you brewing up on a windy rainy day. I have an odd sense of humour as it did make me laugh.
Not being a continual You Tube advertiser is a good thing in my opinion Charlie. Many of the channels have basically become just one long advert.
One of the reasons I try to avoid doing constant reviews.😊
I like your production, reminds me of the spirit and enthusiasm for riding that my late wife had, sadly taken at 55 (big C) she rode from 17. It never mattered how cold, if the sun was out she would want to ride, whether in the UK or Europe. Thank you for a really nice 45 mins of great viewing

Very enjoyable vlog Charlie, thank you for taking the time to bring them to us. Paramedics saved my life when I had a major heart attack at home on Xmas Eve night three years ago. Hoping to bump into you one day at an event somewhere.
That's so good to hear you had a great result. 😊
We do sometimes cross borders and do runs up to the JR. 😊
@@restdayrider in my day down your way it was PMH when i crossed over the border ... think the NHS saw sense and knocked it down or is it still there?
@howie702 no it's long gone, housing estate now!
Thank you for that, you've lead an interesting life. The debate about hard or soft panniers is neve ending, personally I like a top box for security and soft side bags. The coffee machine looks good, I always use an Aeropress when camping as they're cheap, robust and make great coffee.
I guess it's a personal choice on panniers. 🙂
Good morning great video very enjoyable i myself i would just use a thermos to much messing about for my liking 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 😄
Fascinating thank you truly inspiring and what a beautiful person ❤
Thank you so much! 😊
Great video Charlie. People who work in the NHS to help people are like angels when we are in need. 🥰
I am not a coffee drinker, but my husband might be interested in that. Christmas present idea 👍
Thank you 😊
Another great vid Charlie, I enjoy watching you suss things out, like a new piece of kit on the ambo 😂
Hahahaha that takes even longer and a few practices to get right too! 🙂
Excellent video, you did a really good job.
Thank you
l liked the talk along and pace of your vidieo-thank you,and being a paramedic-thank you❤
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Just seen you on shed and buried 😊
Tak fordi du fortæller lidt om dit liv. 👍👍
You're welcome 😁
Charlie your a little star , ride safe and keep the vids coming love the channel thank you .
Thank you 😊
Really like the content of your channel, Charlie.
Thank you. 😊
Brilliant Charlie
Thank you
Thank you for the Coffee / Ciders Robert. ❤️
You do you your way we all know your genuine. BTW hiya Charlie, still looking good as ever. Love your work and long may it continue. All the best and see you soon. SI ✌😎.
Thank you 😊
Here’s a handy hint Charlie. Before you leave home, make up a thermos flask of filter coffee and pack a small bottle of milk and a mug. 😂😂😂
🤣 where's the fun in that? 🤣
I was just about to say that 😊@@restdayrider
🤣
Charlie, I just love a 'loose destination' 😊 The best rides are when you take random roads ... possibly ones never before ridden. My Interceptor is SORNed, sadly until Spring but I continue to ride vicariously through you! Thank you 🥰
Roll on the spring! I suspect the weather is a little less favourable up there!
@restdayrider ... The weather went from a few days of minus degrees, to today being +12 🤣 What does one wear?!
Hi, yes I have the CF Moto, the Honda Bobber and the BSA. 😊
Thanks😊
Hi, the receiver is attached to the camera by the wire, the connection to the mics is blue tooth.
Thanks! I'll attack the fringe with some garden shears soon. 😊
Best of luck to your daughter! I am known to also do train and fog horn impressions on occasion . 😏
Great vid again 😊
Thanks for sharing 😊
Excellent video Charlie
Thank you. 😊
Hello Charlie, love the videos, it was nice to meet you and Jay at the NEC and I hope your (and mine) earplugs turn up soon.
Absolutely! They do look and sound great. 😊
Enjoyed your ramblings, your a natural. I am impressed with your coffee machine, what a faff, though... recommend a thermos flask as I can't see you brewing up on a windy rainy day. I have an odd sense of humour as it did make me laugh.
I will have to take it with me and try it out in the wild. 🙂
