- I'm going to Las Vegas for a week.
We're staying at the Bellagio and have lounge chairs reserved at the Cypress pool each day. I can't wait! I'll be reading at the pool and wanted to share what I'm packing in my travel tote.

Thanks Punita. Picard season three is really knocking it out of the park for me - I wasn't as much a fan of the first two seasons. I am so sad that it's over soon! I only have two (or maybe three) episodes left!

When I was a little girl, a tomboy, all my friends carried a purse to church. During "Big church" we would let each other snoop through one another's purses. So this was great, 😃! The lucky girls had lots of hello kitty in their bag.
Oh and Gina all good girl scouts carry two extra batteries in a ziplock baggie ha. Nice pool bag RAWR! I am woman,hear me roar😂

My family and I recently returned home from California. We stayed at the Disneyland hotel. We went to Disneyland. I brought a bunch of paperback books with me on my trip. I did read a lot and finished just about all of the books I brought with me. I read a lot on trips.
Hi Monae! I love Disneyland! We just did a trip a couple months ago and stayed at the Grand Californian. I looooove staying at one of the Disney hotels, it is so much fun to feel like you are 'living' at Disneyland. We got really lucky and the receptionist gave us a free upgrade to a theme park view! It was amazing.

Yes, I am packing a big suitcase for this trip and checking it (rather than lug around a carry on like I normally do). The sling bag was a TH-cam ad that I fell for! Super cheap but I actually like it quite a bit.

Have you been to the Neon Museum? I heard going for dusk when they light up as the night gets dark is a transcendent experience.
Oh yes, I have been to the Neon museum at dusk, and it really is wonderful. I definitely recommend!
Do you lounge by the pool with the blaring music? I went at the end of April with the intention of relaxing and reading by the pool, and NOPE. it was party central. are there quiet, relaxing pools in vegas? what am i missing?
I do! We always do a 'quiet' pool - this trip is the Cypress pool at Bellagio. It's an adult only non-party pool so it's really relaxing. I am definitely not wanting a pool party!
I'd love to read some Star Trek books but I never know where to start...any suggestions?
Hi! I don’t really have any recommendations- I went to a used bookstore and bought a stack of vintage paperbacks that looked interesting. I say just jump in with whatever you can find cheap or free at the library.
