Good review. It's a nice looking locomotive and it looks like a good runner. I think it's the first time I have seen a locomotive in Great Central livery and the first pacific tank engine. Thanks for showing. Regards Paul.
Hi Paul I hope you are well? Yes it my 4th gcr model but 1st time in gcr livery I will be recording a Robinson running session soon It a great model just need more pick ups in my opinion Thank you for the kind words and watching and commenting and support Keep safe ARP

Thanks for sharing Adi ! I guess Sonic Models IS Rails. Indeed a bit of cut corners with only the driving wheels picking up power. But it's a lovely looking model in this GCR livery. All the best, Cheers
Great review, Adi. Mine arrived on Monday in BR black. It runs beautifully but one of the sprung buffers was snapped🙁. I'm hoping Rails will be able to supply a spare part, as I don't want the faff of returning the complete loco over one fault.
Hi Richard I hope you are well Yes it look totally different in br liveries Very heavy model. As for the buffer I can see ros asking you to send it back. Thank you for watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
I have the BR black one, I love it, but now I’m a little jealous of the GC green one too. I scratch built two of these around 25 years ago, based on a Triang princess chassis due to the wheel base being the same, but sold them on around 7 or 8 years. I very nearly started to build another, till I saw these advertised at Rails.
Hi mate I hope you are well? These are great models just lack pick ups in my opinion I bet your scratch build one look great Thank you for watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
Nice review of a nice unusual loco..Very well detailed. Pity about the pick-up.I have the Keer Stuart 'victory' loco,in the grey, and that is fantastic as well. Regards Nige
Hi Nigel I hope you are well? Yes I've heard great things about keer Stuart models As for this model it a great model just lack pick up Thank you for watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
I've never seen a 4-6-2 tank engine in real life or model form. Apart from one TH-cam video that showed the new A5 tank engine on the NYMR, that is. I'm sorry to say the only pair of 4-6-2s I have room for are Princess Elizabeth and Tornado, LMS and LNER tender engines. I do have an LMS tank engine with the same wheel arrangement in reverse: Standard 4 tank engine, no. 80104, who is preserved on the Swanage Railway in real life. I guess the A5 engine is nice and does have charm, but she doesn't grab my attention like the GWR Manor does.
Hi kelly I hope you are well? Yes everyone got different tastes in the hobby I guess. But it nice to have a pre grouping livery tank engine Keep safe ARP
Hi Adi So you managed to get one then. I didn't pre-order mine I just order when it came into stock, got it the next day. Great review and as you say a shame about the lack of pickups otherwise a nice model. When I DCC fit mine the pickups will be less of a problem as all my DCC points are electrofrog. Stay safe, all the best. Cheers Rob.
Hi Robin I hope you are well? Yes a mate helped me out. I heard dcc fitting is easy It a great model I do look forward to what sonic models do next in oo gauge Thank you for watching and commenting Keep safe ARP
