Surprise family flight! | Piper Cherokee 180 | Hickory, NC | KHKY| Runway 6

The boys and I were surprised today when Mike said we were flying to Clemson for lunch! Flight bags packed, plane pre-flight checked, and taxiway here we come! However that cloud ceiling that was predicted to be at 12,000 ft was in reality around 2,900 ft so we had to turn back for Hickory. Ultimately we were able to use it as a practice run since we are headed to the beach tomorrow. The joy in our little one’s face alone was worth it! Hope you enjoy the trip!
